there has to be a feminist writer out there who has written extensively on this
#ok so u know how like the modern manosphere/sexism enthusiast community can like all agree that women exist to serve men#but like within that community there r internal divisions and competing factions#like it seems to me that 1 of the main divisions is trad patriarchs/trad adjacent men vs incel/incel adjacent#(the names r a work in progress and there's a chance that they're frankly inacurate/misleading)#like the incel side more or less believes that men owe women nothing#in contrast the trad side believes that husbandhood/fatherhood does entail responsibilites towards women in addition to power over them#and like watching these groups of misogynists fight is so facinating#cause not only r the trad men literally offering women as better deal#they are promoting the EXACT type of patriarchy that has allowed patriarchy to thrive for literal millennia#and while men with this lvl of baseless entitlement towards women's labor have existed for millennia#i don't think these sorts of men have had the lvl of reach and influence until recently (i might be wrong on this particualr point)#also its fun to watch horrible ppl tear eachother apart
