btw and I don't know if anyone remembers, but The Evil Place is also the home base of this one doctor who was extremely annoying (and upsetting) to work with for me during my internship there, because when I had questions he kept making up bullshit "facts" and then broke into loud, bellowing, OBNOXIOUS laughter whenever I stared at him all confused before my brain could process that it was "just a joke".

So he was emergency doctor on "our" station's car yesterday (I say it in quotes because I'm just a lowly intern rn lol buuuuuuuuut I might actually get a real job there, I already asked and the chief was very kind to me and she was super eager and wants me to start asap after my exams and now I hope it works out aaaaaaaaaaaah I'm nervous I love it there aaah). And in a calm moment, I asked around like "Okay, I still need a signature at "Learned how to change a pressurised oxygen tank", can anybody show me?" And this annoying doctor dude. Overheard. And started like "Well, first you take a PICKAXE..."

And I don't know what's gotten into me, because usually I try to be A Mouse, but the overall mood was fitting, so I just. Blustered up like a bird. And stepped up to him. All still in a "this is signaling funny and playful social interaction between ROUGHLY peers" manner, that was very controlled and deliberate ok. So I stepped up to him like

"YOUUUUUU!!! *pointing* I remember YOU from the hospital, where you would make up BOGUS facts to tell me! And when I got confused because I can't pick up sarcasm well!! You LAUGHED your ass off!!!"

And everyone present from the station BURST into roaring and hollering at him with laughter like "That's it, that just described your entire life!!! You DO talk bullshit all day!!!" And everyone had the greatest laugh. And the doctor was like "But you DID get it eventually... :'o" and I don't think he was really offended, but he actually tried to apologize to me in a way afterwards, where he came sheepishly asking me whether I want to play a card game with the rest of them.

He's such a silly peacock and I still think he's annoying, but it felt good to (carefully, staged and controlled in an entertaining manner HOPEFULLY) air that out for a short moment lol.

Also it felt good with everyone else agreeing like "That's 100% right, all you do is make up nonsense 'facts' and try to sell them to people". (I don't think he's very popular there, but then again, which emergency doctor is...... Very few, I noticed, very few.)

Anyway. That was good.
