I will say it's a lil telling how much of the lmk fandom didn't actually pay attention to sandy until he had shipping potential with Huntsman...
#text#i know partially it's because 'to catch a leaf' was the first development we got#but it's very telling how after that episode what we got in the fandom was majority shipping#like the fandom still doesn't pay attention to sandy unless it's in relation to huntmans which is just kinda sad#because i think sandy has some potential as a character that is unexplored in the show but it's reduced to him being shipped with huntsman#not that the ship is bad it's just something i noticed as an aroace#also dont come @ me crying about how thats not true or how you werent like that#if u arent like that then this isn't about you plain and simple#you do not need to defend amatonormativity and shipping culture within fandom i assure you it doesn't need you to protect its honor#no one is saying you cant interact through shipping. no one is saying shipping is bad#just a thing i noticed about how the fandom shifted it's view on sandy after 'to catch a leaf'
