i know we’ve all ragged on this scene but i really can’t get enough of ivypool openly admitting she shut down the patrol over dovewing and twigpaw’s immediately gotta look directly into the camera to say “remember kids! marrying outsiders is WRONG! ivypool didn’t totally fuck up here, she had good intentions so let’s not hold this against her! everything should be forgiven now :)”

#it sucks cause if they didnt include that id actually like this scene a lot #i like ivypool torpedoing her relationships over her own hangups. i like her causing conflict with it #but so many of her actions are immediately followed by the pov character going ‘’yes ivypool youre right ivypool’’#like the authors dont actually want to commit to her being complicated and messy #and like after all the exhausting stuff from book 3 i dont even think its weird that twigpaw isnt angry with her or anything #i can totally see her being tired and just feeling relieved it wasnt about her #its the tirade there about how actually ivy is right and you should agree with her intentions’’#avos liveread #and i can see ivypool apologizing earnestly when she realizes how bad she screwed up
