the ml movie is full of pathetic wet beasts and poor little meow meows
#shut up danni's talking#ml#the designs and animation are great tho#that dress at the end though is absolutely gorgeous i adore it sm#but it feels v weird as a movie bc it removes some of the key components for me of the series and whats left is twisted or simplified#like yeah i GET that it had to be compressed and things snipped to make it fit in 90 mins#but my biggest peeve is that they changed how the butterfly worked and made it so it emphasized evil#not preying on the vulnerable like. dude.#also the movie made myléne's father a criminal and that's mean :(#i do like a lot of the nods to the PV tho like that was a key cornerstone of the fandom back when it was tiny#but it feels slightly off rip#i had to watch it again tho bc those songs slap#also i was still in need for ml content since i rewatched s4 & s5 the past couple days im still losing it over it#like the animation quality in s5 alone is all the previous seasons put together i swear#i really really hope that when we get s6 it retains the same quality as s5 otherwise im gonna get so sad
