Started watching that film Burnt from 2015 and jfc I don't remember ever seeing a main character that unlikable
#or maybe i'm just pissed at how sexist the movie is#the lady with plungeing necklines#her grabs her shirt and doesn't apologise and she gets the lame excuse of “he's had a difficult childhood” and it FUCKING WORKS???#she lets it slide why???#then she pretends to be his girlfriend wtf#i came looking for cooking scenes not romance ffs#and they have zero chemistry plssss#he has more chemistry w the maitre and his rival than with her!!#why does she have to be the love interest#girl why are you agreeing to go out with your boss#she's making good money and I thought she wanted to learn more there but now she's ruining her own reputation by openly agreeing to a date w#him???#and the fucking nerve he has to even ask her in front of the other cooks#i thought this character would be a bit insightfull but he's just a selfish jerk who yells and disrespects and humiliates his own crew#like take some ownership of your kitchens clusterfuck fuckface!#shitty fucking boss and even worse leader losing his shit instead of communicating w his employees#this is not the film to get you inspired or excited about culinary people#trust me#it's a total let down and a bummer#don't think ill even finish it tbh~
