Do you think Hong Mei Ling is a dragon yokai half human half dragon?

I used to have a headcanon about Meiling where she was a dragon youkai where could transform into EX-Meiling (similar to EX-Rumia). This was a somewhat popular fanon portrayal way back when the whole EX fad was a thing. EX-Meiling would gain some dragon traits like her eyes changing, gaining fangs, patches of scales on her skin, and more depending on the artist.

I dropped this headcanon since it seemed too specific for Meiling. I see her as a martial artist youkai. There are many facets to martial art that is completely fake and I like the idea of her resembling that. She appears so human because martial arts is a very human activity at its heart.

However, her qi (the vital energy of all living entities a.k.a that dragon ball shit) resembles that of a dragon's. The EX-Meiling idea isn't completely lost to me as if she is fighting you seriously and fully utilizing her qi then power felt from her will feel like you're fighting a dragon. The only change in her appearance are the dragon-like eyes. (she isn't human after all)

She may not be a dragon anymore to me, but she got that vibe.
