lol even npr’s coverage of the shooting is soooooo slanted to making the dead guy and his wife look villainous and the shooter look based. rare public radio w (I haven’t ceased being irate with them since some generic housing piece they did in which they interviewed several landlords and 0 tenants).

#imo it’s super slanted to include her padding out her statement with ‘I don’t know’#not in a bad way just—don’t they clean up people’s padding and verbal tics? they usually do for trump #it REALLY casts her in the poorest possible light to have used that stumbling quote. and it’s the only quote I’ve seen & seen widely #we don’t KNOW the book is where the bullet casing words came from but it’s carefully included every time!!! super legitimizing??#like ok that’s arguably ‘context’ but you’d have to Argue It! since there’s no manifesto! but like EVERY time it’s like #But Actually… this isn’t context free crazy person engraving… surely this is an allusion to a book…!#AND mentions of the public backlash and widespread airing of grievances in the SAME BREATH as explaining the guy who died was a ceo like #I mean it’s inescapable to include like Some Context but I feel like this is not nearly as flat affect as npr coulda gotten #on a guy getting gunned down in the street!!!#this is my “20k and counting laughing emojis ON FACEBOOK?’’ moment #NPR????????
