Sometimes I go to reblog a post with a counter opinion but then I realize that it is not worth it and people will continue to interpret media the way they want until the end of time and i should just make my own post.

Anyways I do think it's important to remember that they film these seasons in quick succession. The PCs have not had 5 months to grow attached to the NPCs like the audience has. It's been like 2 weeks for them. Also yall are acting like this was the finale. The season isn't over until it's over, we still don't know what will happen. They could lose for all we know, Brennan has been prepared for that in past seasons.

#also i get trying to not look at this meta wise #but its hard when you are the one playing the game #like oh i didnt realize what the dm said until it was clarified or else i would have done something different or vice versa #anyways i do think it's a little rude to take everything in bad faith because a pc doesn't like your favorite npc #or isn't interested in their backstory or motivations #thats just the risk you take when you write npcs to DM #you put a lot of effort into them only for the PCs to never interact with them #i mean ivey was pretty much irrelevant the whole season because the PCs did not interact with her #ive only dmed once and even i get the pain of npcs getting ignored #fhjy #fantasy high junior year #d20 #dimension 20
