Incredible anticipation of watching several tma bloggers get into the tlt books. Yes it's partially because haha same, but also I'm like. Curious to see what, if any, crossovers/aus ppl will make w/ these pieces of media that are so similar in so many ways and yet very very distinct and different. I know that probably sounds like fandom brainrot but idk! I feel like there's something to the idea is all.

#ramblings of a lunatic #I've still only just started htn #but when i finish these books I'm going to become INSUFFERABLE #just you wait #but in the mean time i will rotate this in my mind #it's like. easy to translate things but also it so incredibly isn't?#on the surface it seems like the premise of:#''brilliant but messed up magic type slowly grows from hating to loving their unqualified but kind companion who serves them''#would make these stories very easy to swap around #but also #tlt is so dramatic- it's gothic and heightened and fantastical and nobody acts normal because it would suck if they did #whereas tma is about a bunch of very normal ppl in a very not normal situation who become inseparable from the horror #like obviously tma characters are freaks by normal ppl standards but they'd be big dumb fucking babies in tlt #there's lots of room to play w/ in that regard #anyway uhhhhhh. here's to hoping i finish harrow the ninth soon-ish? also if you're a tma fan just getting into tlt #feel free 2 like. idk drop something in my ask box if you're so inclined #fuckin. bookclub ig!#gonna answer some asks now i think..
