2024 beauty standards are the worst. And I am someone who is beauty obsessed. Watching old 90s and 2000s TV again is making me really sad at the realization that we're forgetting what faces actually look like. We don't allow for variation any more. It's easy (and good) to criticise restrictive beauty standards of the past but we're never seen conformity via tweakments before on a scale like this. I am seriously thinking of coming off of tik tok just so I don't have to look at cookie cutter beauty filter face again
