Idk why this struck me as “cute” or like “heartwarming” but there’s just something about Dan writing a song about a dead girl from a TV show, and making it sound like this very bombastic spectacle

yeah i know what you mean. it's the unashamedly indulging in something you love just for the love of it babyyyy. like ig he literally wrote that song cause he loves that show so much and that is actually v beautiful imo

#ask #anon #bastille #kind of off topic but i had the same thing at comic con #like my heart was so full during the cosplay masquerade and i said to my friend #like everyone here has put in so much effort and time and money to their costumes and perfomances #and the only motivation is loving a character/show/anime/movie/costume etc so much that they decide to do that #like not to be fake deep but i think theres so much societal pressure to put all your energy into getting more money/love/sex #to spend your time indulging in your niche little interests that may seem weird or insignificant to other people #is actually very beautiful #also i like his little bit he does on tour like 'hopefully this is the best song about a dead girl from the 90s you hear all evening'#like yes king ur right that was a good one lol
