What foods are considered haram?
pork, alcohol (not a food but yk), blood, carnivorous animals, insects, and animals that die in any way other than the islamic way of slaughter :D
oh, also, when we slaughter them it has to be in the name of god. if we dont say "in the name of god" or "in the name of allah" or any of his titles, or if we name a god worshipped other than allah (e.g. jesus), then the meat is considered haram

Hi! I love your blog! Would like to get to know more about you... you talk about baby speedy a lot, so you have any other siblings? What’s your favourite place to eat, drink?
hey there, anon! yeah, baby speedy is my favourite sibling and also my favourite person in the whole world tbh. she is pretty much my whole world in all honesty.
I have another sister who’s at university atm. she’s younger than me but we’re close in age. she can be annoying tho lmao. I have an older brother who means well but can be annoyingly overprotective of me. and a younger brother who’s in his mid-teens, who thinks I get scared way too easily lol.
favourite place to eat? I mean nothing will beat turkish cuisine or just anything mediterranean with like tons of red meat because that is totes my thing. in particular I dig iranian, moroccan and lebanese food because I’ve been to restaurants where they serve those cuisines and it tastes so good. also chicken - I loooove chicken, and I love having a cheeky nando’s when I can. :D aside from that I have a major weakness for fried chicken and also burgers. oops. (also steak I can never say no to steak) on the whole I tend to gravitate towards cuisines originating from countries with a sizeable muslim population just because I only eat halal meat and most of the time it’s easier to find in middle eastern/mediterranean cuisine restaurants.
as for drinking - I’m muslim and don’t drink alcohol, and like most of the time when I go to restaurants I literally ask for tap water lmao. but uh I really love rubicon mango juice and also orange capri-sun. I usually just buy those from the supermarket tho. I don’t really go anywhere to just get a drink because juice is super overpriced and so is tea - and also I generally hate tea from most cafes so it’s a waste of money for me.
thanks for the questions! :D
