every time i get a new video game i always remember violently why i never actually finish any of them and the reason is because i hate time trials and get stuck and frustrated and get anxious about it and cant progress :/

#otherwise rpgs are my favs #but time trials suck #especially in main missions...ugh #anyway being able to turn off timers should be part of video game accessibility like subtitles or color blindness adjustments #like making me anxious doesnt teach me how to use the abilities my guys #making me complete a certain objective/combo a specific amount of times? fine #but being able to do that all in 14 seconds? fuck you #its funny too cause when im not being timed to complete it i can do it just fine and even quick #like in genshin how domains tell you how long it took? thats ok and i love to see it its cool to see how fast i can do a challenge #but being forced to complete a challenge in under a minute? i break down #i think this is an adhd thing tbh my parents used to time me while i did homework and it really fucked me up :<
