Not to post about a podcast from like 2016 but can we just think about how extra messed up it would be to ask Taako Magnus and Merle to leave that world after ten years.

Taako, Magnus they had friends, connections. As a found family truther Angus is their son.

But Merle??? BRO WAS AN ACTUAL FATHER he had two whole children on this plane. And like yeah, end of the world, running is all they know. But like why in the world would Merle especially leave.

Comparatively, Lup was in an umbrella , Barry spent his time dead and trying to find Lup or alive and being lead by his own cryptic ass messages. And Davenport and Lucretia were on the moon.

Taako Magnus and Merle had real lives. And I cannot stress this enough MERLE FATHERED TWO CHILDREN

And I feel like Mavis and Mookie weren’t even mentioned?? Mind you I haven’t listened to this in years I don’t remember fully. But like if they weren’t. Huge!! HUGE missed opportunity
