anyone else think its fucked up that retail stores have an absolute obsession with getting customers to sign up for their loyalty shit? like to the point that if you dont get enough signups as an employee you’re blocked from promotions & pay raises or even threatened with termination over it in extreme cases. or god forbid there’s a paid membership that employees are forced to try to sell and if goals arent met the overall store’s hours get cut. disgusting model
