ok not to pull a 2012 hipster "i liked this before it was cool" move but it's wild that i actually can't use "i've been listening to lemon demon since i was in 7th grade" as a flex anymore because that statement now indicates nothing about how early in the timeline this was. because now there is a new wave of older teenagers who were ALSO listening to lemon demon in 7th grade but they were doing this in like. 2020. i NOW have to specify that MY seventh grade lemon demon listening experience occurred in 2013. because i was in 7th grade in 2013. makes me feel ancient

#no h8 to the new lemon demon teenagers i'm glad they found neil's project & he's getting the popularity he deserves #it's just so weird to think abt how many years are in between me and this new wave of young listeners #like lemon demon has been around long enough for MULTIPLE cycles of 13 year olds to discover them #and this new wave is probably the THIRD cuz the very first stuff came out in the late 2000's #so there was probably a cycle before me although i think those were older nerds the first time round lol #anyway i luv u neil cicierega and ur silly goofy work
