Its so awesome to be able to watch movies in french and understand the vast majority of the dialouge
#like obv context helps but my listening is SO MUCH better#than it was when i was just using duolingo#now its like I'll be debating hmm i wonder if i will watch this/play this is french or english#and instead of being totally lost with the french version im actually understanding much more of it than i would have last year#im only able to watch kids media and understand it though#like ive watched a lot of bluey and mlp and disney movies in french#just dont ask me to *say* anything in french i dont have that part covered#pronounciation who? speaking where?#but no i was just watching tazan in french with french subs on#but like. they have french (canada) and no other options#and then they have french (france) and french (canada)#but NEITHER of the subtitle sets matched the dialouge 100% and i can tell because i can understand the dialouge#and the subtitles seperatly#i guess its like where they shorten subtitles to make it read better its probably that#anyway im just really proud of how im getting on#far from fluent but i am getting better
