done it, sent my managers an email and called up my gp to pick up my sick note to send into work asap...

hmm yeah okay, can't stand on my legs steady enough for more than 2 minutes, my head's swimming, cannot work like that for 8 hours. gotta call in sick.... how to go about it tho, I've never done this...

#according to what my work contract says i'm still within the requested time frame #and shooould be okay? idk...#the last time i called in sick at work (different job) i got booted since i was still in training...#but I've been at my current job for almost 2 years so... i should be okay???? idkkkk #i'm still just so traumatised by how me being constantly sick as a child/teen was treated by teachers/parents/doctors/peers #everyone always accused me of faking even with obvious fever and snot running out of my nose #and proven inflammation and infections and having to take way too many strong antibiotics basically back to back #idk man... it's like i'm not ALLOWED to be sick and recuperate???? ykwim???#like ive already wasted all my alloted sick time for my entire life in my youth #and now i'm on thin fucking ice whenever i do manage to fall ill... augh...#at least it's not covid 👍 test is negative #anyway. ibuprofen. shower. doctor. and then back to bed...
