✎ᝰ┆r : having an idol s/o
✎ᝰ┆fluff ; warnings : none
thank you to the kind soul who helped me out by requesting since i have no ideas 😭😭 I LOVE YOU 😭😭
also these gifs looks more coordinated i think ill start using these instead 🤩
+ i kinda got overboard with baekseung for some reason?? 😨
wish.
i feel like you two would meet via a mutual friend
like a mutual idol friend would introduce the two of you to each other and you'd hit it off and start talking
okay anyways, he would be so proud of you ngl
but as proud as he is he'll be so worried about you because he knows your competitive the industry is
he'll call you or text you during meal times to check up on you to see if you're eating
even if you're dieting he'd make sure you had enough so you won't faint while performing
anyways let's say you have to keep your relationship a secret
it'd absolutely pain him not to be able to hang out in public with you
but at the same time it's for both your career so sacrifices have to be made
so while you have private dates he'd try to lay off anything else he has to do for you and just company you
sigh tbh it would pain him not to wear couple items with you
but once y'all go public 🤩
he'd start wearing all those couple matchy things
and he'd also tweet stuff like ' please support us ' etc.
but overall i do think that he'd prefer getting a girlfriend that isn't a celebrity
keum.
keumdong 🤩
i feel like y'all would meet at like a dance sort of content (like dancing high or 1million dance studio)
so like if you're a singer uhh 😨
like i see him with an idol that's like a main dancer
someone who shares the same passion and interest as him
anyways keumdong
i feel like he'd know all your schedules and would text you after just to ask how it went
he would also send you many dance videos and you would do the same
you two would just help each other even if you're not face to face
tbh he wouldn't mind and would wear subtle matching items like earrings
like he wouldn't care at all 💀
anyways if you're dating in secret
he'd definitely try his best to keep the relationship but like compared to wish he would have his dates outside during night time where there isn't as many people
once your relationship goes public
he'd just bring you anywhere and he'd stop caring tbh
even if you're idols you deserve your own life
so he'd just stop caring and go out with you
he'd be super protective of you when someone says something about your relationship
sigh he's just be more protective about you if you're an idol
but overall he'd definitely prefer a non-celeb s/o
mu.
omg tbh i don't see mu with an idol s/o?
like i really don't see it
but okay let's imagine
i think you'd two be friends prior to debut
so you'd like kinda be known to be friends (like moonbin and sinb)
so like tbh fans who kinda speculate some shit is going on but you'll just play it off as you're just close friends 🤩
anyways he would watch your performance,, like literally every single one even if he's busy
and he'd compliment you on how pretty you were and how well you've done
and he'd tell you to rest and not to overwork yourself 😭
he would also promote your new song on his solo vlives and tbh it'd be so cute
anyways i think the both of you would have many chances to interact
like variety shows 🤩
and he'd be extra caring towards you but you know say it's because of your friendship 🤩
anyways you'd just date privately but like it's just so out there but people just brush it off as best friends 💀
once it's public i think many people will support it since you were previous friends even before debut
kinda expected
but anyways he can finally show more skinship towards you and talk about how much he loves you openly 🤩
but overall still would prefer a non-celeb s/o
a-min.
i heard some idols uses like the inkigayo sandwich to exchange phone numbers
yes i think he'll stuff his phone number in there and get a staff to hand it to you just because you were pretty 🤩
and tbh it'd be smart because it'll attract your attention and you'll begin to start talking and end up as a couple
anyways man's would promote you better than your company
he'd be like ' the song im currently obsessed with is (...) you should check it out! '
it'll be so subtle no one suspected a thing
and ngl he'll probably have a fan acc for you 💀
and he'll probably end up being known as your fanboy after 💀
he'll compliment you a lot public or not 🤩
anyways despite doing so much and hinting so much your relationship would still be private
like fans would be pretty sus of the both of you but it's your lives not theirs 🤩
anyways once you go public i think you would go on variety shows together quite often
it'd be cute
ngl i do see him with an idol s/o like compared to a non-celeb
since he can relate to them and stuff and just talk about their stresses together 🤩
baekseung.
i think you'd be going to the same school, in the same class and that's how met
maybe you've already debuted when you met or maybe you're just trainees then but idk man whatever it is y'all would be friends
and then yes relationship
anyways mans would be so proud of you and always bragging about you to the other members
the other members would end up being so sick of hearing him brag about you and tell you about it just so you could reprimand him and have it keep it on the low 💀
he would keep up with your variety show and especially aegyos so he can tease you about it 💀
just do the same to him so he would stop doing it once he realizes how shitty that feels
anyways like i said in the boyfriend series y'all would gossip together and it will be the same
except you have a lot more to gossip about 🤩
you'll talk about the entertainment industry, idols and your companies etc.
i would think that he would prefer to keep your relationship private and intimate so he'd prefer not to publicize it + do his best to keep the relationship a secret
even if it's made public, he'd act as if he doesn't know you during events that will make some fans think that you're having a fight but in reality you're doing well
he just prefers to do all the couple things in private you know
but like i think he'd prefer a non-celeb s/o too
ayden.
i have a feeling that if ayden was to fall for an idol, it would be an idol from his own company aka c9
like you'd probably meet when you guys were still trainees and have probably trained with each other before debut
and like so you'd become friends and eventually develop feelings for each other and you know date
to be honest i feel like as an idol he'd be a lot more low-key in front of everyone even his own members
to the point that sometimes they're wondering if you guys have broken up but no he was just low-key
he'd just quietly sit before he has to perform watching your performance as a source of motivation which is kinda cute💀
like he would work harder because of you and like there'll be a friendly competition between the two of you just to see who's better
since your relationship is so low-key no one would know about your relationship except for members 🤩
tbh the only time they'd find out would be when you personally decide to announce it yourself
like it'd be as unexpected as the daniel × jihyo pairing
overall i feel like he wouldn't mind if his s/o is an idol or not, as long as they have a mutual liking and understanding then it's fine
yewang.
i think you guys would meet by like a singing programme
like a duet special stage 🤩
anyways he would be extremely polite when you first met and you'd take a liking towards him
then you'd end up hanging out outside of your schedule and eventually end up dating
anyways he would stare at you a lot during like programmes where you meet each other
like he wouldn't care and just stare at you 🤩
during like award shows he'll text you and be like ' you look beautiful today '
tbh he would stare at you do much that fans would start to speculate something is going on between the both of you
like he wants to talk to you so bad but the fans just makes it hard
so he ends up publicizing your relationship to go out freely with you 🤩
but to be honest he would prefer an idol s/o
since he'd prefer sharing the same passion + having more common topics to talk about
jeff.
FINALLY JEFFF
alright to be honest he's another one i don't see having an idol s/o💀
like you two were probably friends before you were trainees and ended up debuting
and like somewhere in between you fell for each other and got into a romantic relationship
kinda like mu except you keep your friendship low-key so not many people knew you two were friends
till like past photos resurfaced
anyways i think he'd just be extra caring knowing that you're an idol
since there are many risk factors of being an idol
like wish tbh he'd text you a lot checking if you've eaten and if you're feeling okay in case you overwork yourself
and he'll restrain himself from looking at you too much just in case dating rumors end up surfacing
after all your career is more important considering how hard you've worked to be an idol
he'd only publicize it once dispatch catch you guys
but i doubt that'll happen💀
anyways he would have a personal vlive after telling fans to continue supporting the both of you despite the news
overall, he'd prefer a non-celeb s/o
wow this reaction took long to complete HAHAH

I didn't ask you this before cause you don't allow anonymous asks but it's the end of my watch so come on, join the fun and give me your Top 5 NH fic 🎉
oohhh reallyy...?? Im gonna embarrass myself here but im still new to the whole tumblr thing buttt how do you allow anonymous ask....?? HAHAHAHAH (im sorry im embarrassing)
Alsoo!! I just wanted to add that I am fairly new to the Naruto fandom because I just started watching the show this quarantine and hands down, best decision of my life. After finishing the series, I immediately knew that I needed more NH content (i blame The Last, I did not expect all those lovey dovey interactions lol I love them)
Salvage by @waterrolls - THIS. this. this. Gorgeous. Spectacular. Heart Wrenching. Show stopping. This was one of my first NH fics that I found on Wattpad. (@waterrolls would know how much I gushed over this haha) Dont get me wrong, there a dozen beautiful fics over there, however when I read this, I instantly knew that this was the type of fics that I wanted to read. So thank you thank youu @waterrolls for inspiring me to write and for paving me the way to all these beautiful fics on Ao3 <3
Put on your warpaint by borzbois- OKAY STORYTIME! So I downloaded this on my phone back when we went on an outing for an entire weekend. Long story short, we rented a private resthouse for my big fam, we went to the beach, drinking with cousins, swimming etcetc all that jizz. And guess what my introverted ass did for the entire outing??? Thats right, i was in my own lil introverted corner reading this amazing fic. So just do yourself a favor and read it. Like NOW.
It's No Secret by @dayseternal-blog - I'm not usually one for HS fics cuz my highschool was messy as hell lol but @dayseternal-blog 's story made me wish I spent my highschool better hahaha. I love how she captured the immaturity of youth so perfectly well. (I just got out of higshschool so everything still feels so fresh, and her story was ridiculously realistic haha) all those awkard flirting, vid chats, raging hormones lmaooo.
Nightdreams by @dayseternal-blog - i've read this tooo many times already hahahaha. A perfect balance of fluff, flirting, smut, action scenes, Naruto's emotional dilemma, clingy boyf Nardo, more smut. One of the best smut stories you will ever find on your interwebs. @dayseternal-blog 's smut writing skills *chef's kiss
Engaged or whatever by Devanhole- Another ridiculously realistic fic. It's like youre peering into your friend's phone or ig accs. I loveeee modern aus. The humor, the interactions, the dirty talk/shameless flirting and the SMUT. ( i swear im not a perv, but you can definitely see a pattern here lmao)
bonus fics because i cant get enough of NH~~
Girl in the elevator by thesefourwords- hnggggg cute. cute. cute CUTEEEE
White Lillies by @dayseternal-blog - must i even explain myself? yknow what, just read all of her stories. Just go DO IT
Serenity Prayer by @katarinahime - yesyesyesyes read it read it read it read it.
Secret Lovers by @quirrrky - NH blank period, everything that happened two years after the war. I dont care what anyone says, this is canon. CANON. Everything about this story is canon. I am the new Kishimoto. This is now an official Light Novel of the Naruto series.
21 days by @bunny-hoodlum - Naruto and Hinata need a hug hahaha. Two broken ssouls seeking solace within each other because the world is just that fucked up
Common Side Effects and Medicated by @katarinahime and @szajnie respectively- Naruto and Hinata needd another hug lol, I love that Naruto is trying soo hard to bring her back, and Hinata is trying just as hard to bring herself back :(( relationships can really be self-destructive if one of the parties can't reciprocate the type of energy your partner is giving. These stories opened my eyes into soo many different perspectives. The world really isnt all black and white, you can never really say who is right and wrong, especially with all the stories of everything and everyone
White Kunai by Magma Writes- This was awesome. The story gets you hooked. The fluff is on point. Canon divergent. I lovee stories like these. Like your peering into their shinobi world
Love is in the air by @vegebulsoup - two words; PILOT NARUTO. Flirting in amsterdam, the love story that I need in my real life. Andd the smut was soooo gratifying.
#naruhina#naruhina fanfiction#fanfiction recommendation#i could honestly go on and on#but im too lazy hehe#answer

omg hi, i saw someone asking for a BoB ship and i wonder if i could get one too 🥺. so I'm greek, 1,58 (5'2''), i have chocolate brown hair and eyes and I'm veery light skinned. i have an older brother🥺, i like sketching (and painting sometimes) and i would like to study psychology and criminology or english literature. i never give a fuck about what people say, my favourite color is black, i love it when it rains and my fav season is winter. also I'm the clown friend 😎. & i love your acc :(
A/N: OH MY GOD I REMEMBER YOU!!!! i’m so sorry this took me forever to get to, thank you for your patience. i’m so happy you love my acc, thank you for stopping by for a ship! i love you so much, i hope you’re having an amazing day 💕
- RON SPEIRS -
- [ general ]
AGWJWIWJJWWJ I KNOW YOU’RE GOING TO SAY THAT IT’S BECAUSE OF YOUR USERNAME BUT IT’S ACTUALLY JUST BECAUSE IT’S A REALLY CUTE SHIP SO JUST BEAR WITH ME OKAY THANK YOU
Ron literally l o v e s how much smaller you are than him
it makes him feel like he’s your protector (even if you don’t need the protection), and therefore makes him feel more valued
it’s also great for cuddling, and he adores bending down a bit to press a kiss to your forehead
Ron likes to brush your hair for you if your arm gets tired, and he does it so gently because he’s worried he’ll yank your hair while trying to get out a knot
when i tell you he’s terrified your brother won’t like him... he’s t e r r i f i e d
he spends a lot of time making sure that he’ll make a good first impression on your family
Ron doesn’t usually care about how people perceive him (obviously i mean have you seen him react to rumors), but this is not the same when it comes to your family
he desperately wants them to like him, and oddly enough manages to charm every single one of them
he spends a lot of time with your brother, and is super relaxed about him being around, even if he wants your attention to be on him rather than your brother
this man adores just flipping through any of your sketchbooks, and almost loses his mind if he finds himself drawn in there
if you give him a sketch or painting, he’ll protect that thing with his life
god forbid anything happens to it, he’ll literally kill someone because it meant so much to him that you trusted him enough to give him one of your creations
he is MORE than willing to model for sketches or paintings if necessary
supports you in all your studies, and is always around to help you study
he’ll even rewrite your notes for you if you’re too tired to do it yourself, anything he can do to help
he loves that you don’t care what others say, especially about being with him
honestly, the only time he cares about what people say is when they say shit about you
even if you don’t care, he’s more than willing to throw hands with that person and put them in their place
he buys so many things that are black just because he looks at it and is like “that’s their favorite color. i need that.”
believe it or not, ron actually loves to stand out in the rain with you, especially if it involves dancing
he’ll take care of you after if you get sick out there
often relaxes with you by cuddling you and sitting close to the window while it rains, so you can see outside while he reads
don’t ever throw a snowball at him during winter. you will cause a snowball war, and he will win.
also loves winter, but hates being too cold
it’s nice to cuddle up to him during the colder months, since he’s practically a walking furnace
you’re the only person that can make him genuinely laugh, and he thinks all your jokes are the peak of comedy
he does not like to be pranked, but will tolerate it for you
if you do crazy shit, he’s doing it with you. ride or die baby let’s GOOOOOO
- [ how you two met ]
you were just like every other paratrooper in Easy, originally intimidated by the infamous Ronald Speirs
you hadn’t really seen him much, he was more of a legend than a man in your mind
that of course changed when you saw him sneaking around every once in a while back in Bastogne, darting between foxholes and trees
although he rarely spoke to the other men, he seemed to enjoy your company
checking on you between the nights, asking if you needed any extra supplies (you knew he stole them for you, but you let him do it regardless because you thought it was sweet)
you never thought anything of it. to be quite honest, it seemed to you like he had a begrudging respect for you, but never saw it as something more
in reality, ron was always watching you
he wanted to know what you liked so he could talk to you
he wanted to see your interactions with the other men, so he knew if he had to scare off any potential suitors (which he did do more than once)
he wanted to get to know you, he just didn’t know h o w to approach you
so for a while, he simply watched from afar
one night though, you decided to break the cycle
waiting in your foxhole, you glanced around, waiting for his shadowed figure to come darting through
this night, you were going to t r u l y speak to him
you were sick of how he danced around you. although it was entertaining for a while, it got old fast
you just had to take the opportunity to get to know him past his Ron Speirs™ persona
grinning, you watched as a dark shape moved quietly among the endless trees, making his way towards your foxhole
acting as nonchalantly as possible, you glanced at him as he crouched down beside you, watching as his every exhale turned into yet another cloud of white vapor
shifting closer slightly, you turned to him, mumbling “aren’t you going to sit in the foxhole with me for once?”
Ron tilted his head, surprised at your request
but after another moment he nodded, taking his place beside you
“you don’t talk much, do you?”
Ron simply chuckled and looked away, a blush beginning to dust his cheeks
“no, not really. it’s hard talking to beautiful people, they make me nervous”
you laughed, moving closer
“well, it’ll get easier talking to me with time... you’re stuck with me whether you like it or not”

Being Alone, Anaconda, and Andrew Bogut: One of the sweetest dogs. Good looking, lively, fun and very smart. Can be shy at first, affectionate, playful, soft and wiggly once warmed up yr öld 58 lbs gger aka Donkey ance @ Staten Island AC oping for a Ch SD# 24024 Me ****TO BE KILLED 4/27/18**** >>> ONE MORE POSTER FOR TIGGER aka DONKEY *** STAFF FAVORITE *** BRINDLE LOVE! <3 Handsome Donkey is looking for his next home. Will it be yours? A volunteer writes: Donkey is one of the sweetest boys I have met! He loves attention from people and sometimes he thinks he is a lap dog and doesn’t realize he weighs 58lbs. Staff members stated he is extremely intelligent and eager to learn commands... Staff Note: Tigger f.k.a. Donkey, was returned after 2 days in his adopter's home. The family dog did not get along with Tigger. Slow introductions and experience are a must when rescuing a shelter dog. They need de-compressing time before they are introduced to the family pet. But here Tigger and Roscoe are having fun in the shelter yard. Tigger is available to rescues only now. Another volunteer writes: Donkey is a very good looking dog ! He’s a fun energetic boy who just needs a good run to release some energy. Please take a look at him ! A staff member notes: Donkey is tired of the shelter life and would love to find a home. He continues to be wonderful with all staff members and is extremely happy out of the kennel. Volunteer Christopher Mancuso notes: That's my T-Donk!!!! <3 We'd play fetch in the ACC yard every day and he'd sit with me. He's a great dog. I pray he finds a good home. A volunteer writes on 04/26/18 I spent some time with Tigger the past couple of days, and each meeting was better than the last. Although Tigger is not the perfect dog, he has shown me his best side lately. Tigger is fearful of new people at first, so a slow approach is recommended when first meeting him. But once he warms up to you, he becomes affectionate, playful, soft and wiggly. Tigger is not a dog to stay indoors all day. He needs his exercise and daily attention. Tigger would fit best in a home with an active lifestyle, and lots of free time to spend with him. A nice yard would benefit Tigger and his new owner, so he can burn off his youthful energy. Tigger usually settles down nicely, after a good run in the shelter yard. His videos show his active and playful side, and then his relaxed, chill side. He loves the water, and it appears he can get along with other dogs with the right introduction. He needs to decompress for a few days, once he's in a new home, if he ever gets another chance. Tigger is so handsome in person, with beautiful markings. I've never seen brindle perfection on a dog like this before. Tigger is not afraid to get his paws dirty or wet, and he will go through puddles instead of walking around them. If Tigger can land in another home, all you will need is a ball or rope toy, and plenty of space. Take this guy to the beach, with ball or stick in hand, and watch this guy shine. Tigger is a very fun dog to hang out with. With the right family and the proper space, Tigger will shine again! Please watch Donkey`s adorable videos: https://www.facebook.com/sishelterdogs/videos/433662927062318/ Together with Puppy Roscoe <3 https://www.facebook.com/sishelterdogs/videos/442661582829119/ https://youtu.be/QPZm3B2Dzag https://youtu.be/Rg3skQnPFx0 https://youtu.be/4-wn4l_KObA https://youtu.be/4hz7lwjFvms Donkey aka Tigger ID# 24024 Staten Island ACC 1 year old, 58 lbs BROWN BRINDLE MALE RETURN after only 2 days/ the family dog did not get along with Donkey / Tigger Intake Date: April 18 Medical Behavior: *** SHELTER ASSESSMENT: RESCUE ONLY *** PROFILE and BEHAVIOR HISTORY Behavior History Behavior Assessment Behavior during intake: Dog seemed alert and curious of surroundings. Tigger would often lay down and roll over when playing. ENERGY LEVEL:: Tigger is a young, enthusiastic, social dog who will need daily mental and physical activity to keep him engaged and exercised. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in additional to physical exercise, to positively direct his energy and enthusiasm. Tigger displays a medium to high activity level in the care center. IN SHELTER OBSERVATIONS:: Tigger is barking, seeking attention in his kennel. When attempting to leash, he does try to bolt out. In the yard, Tigger is high energy, playing with toys, running around and seeking handlers attention. During an enrichment session in the lobby, Tigger was very social with all handlers. He often sits for treats and loves to ply fetch with plush toys and balls. Tigger is easy to leash but does avoid going back into his kennel but is easily coaxed with treats. 4/7/18: During an interaction with an adopter and their children, Tigger started hard barking, pulling towards them, followed by showing some teeth. 4/15: Tigger is as affectionate and sweet and he was before. He sits for treats and often giving kisses to all staff, rolls over for belly rubs. Tigger has not displayed any concerning behaviors. 4/26: Tigger has become calmer and well behaved in his kennel. He will still rush out when the door is opened but allows to be leashed with no issues. Outside with staff, Tigger is very playful and social with everyone. He appears to really enjoy playing fetch especially with any toys that squeak, he will relinquish all toys and does not display any concerning behaviors. Tigger really loves water, he will often jump into the doggy pool. Tigger was introduced to a medium size 6 month old puppy. Tigger was social, playful, very gentle, tolerant when the puppy became pushy, rambunctious and mouthy. Tigger would often roll over for the puppy and engaged in play majority of the time. Going back into his kennel, Tigger still continues to pull unless he is clipped on the the harness loop on his chest, then he will walk with less pull. Tigger walks right into his kennel, lays down and allows staff to remove the leash. Tigger has been very social and has no displayed any concerning behaviors. BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION:: NEW HOPE ONLY Recommendations:: No children (under 13),Place with a New Hope partner Recommendations comments:: New Hope Only: Based on Tigger's bite history, in addition to his behavior towards the other dog in the previous home, we believe he would benefit best from placement with a rescue partner who can further assess his behavior in a stable home environment. No children (under 13): Due to the behavior seen in the care center, we feel that Tigger may be intimidated by children at this time. Tigger requires a slow approach and time to warm up. He should never be forced to interact with new people, and should be allowed to greet and initiate an interaction at his own pace. Potential challenges: : Fearful,Strength/leash pulling Potential challenges comments:: Fearful: Tigger may take some time to warm up to new people, though he shows good coping skills when uncomfortable (moving away). We feel he will do best with an experienced foster prepared to allow him to warm up to new people and new environments slowly. Use of treats and other rewards will help to make new experiences positive. Strength/leash pulling: Tigger is a large, strong dog with the capability to pull over an average adopter. His adopter must be prepared and able to handle a dog of this size and strength. It is recommended that he be walked on a front clip harness or head halter, which help diminish his strength through leverage, and that he be trained using positive reinforcement, reward based training to not pull on leash. ------------------------------------------ NOTES FIRST STAY / INTAKE 03/29/18 Donkey ID# 24024 Staten Island ACC 1 year old, 58 lbs BROWN BRINDLE MALE GREEN Medical Behavior FOUND STRAY Intake Date: 3/29/18 Medical Behavior: Green *** SHELTER ASSESSMENT: AVERAGE HOME *** BEHAVIOR NOTES: Means of surrender (length of time in previous home): Stray Summary (1): When introduced to a large male through a gate, Donkey was wiggly, and curious, often sniffing the other dog. ENRICHMENT Donkey is barking, seeking attention in his kennel. When attempting to leash, he does try to bolt out. In the yard, Donkey is high energy, playing with toys, running around and seeking handlers attention. During an enrichment session in the lobby, Donkey was very social with all handlers. He often sits for treats and loves to ply fetch with plush toys and balls. Donkey is easy to leash but does pump the break when going back into his kennel. ENRICHMENT 4/7/2018 In his Kennel Donkey is alert. Seeing me, his tails began to wag, he barked for attention. Donkey was easy to leash. Donkey is eager to get out of his kennel and go outside so he does pull on leash and would benefit from a harness. In the yard he was curious and walked around for a bit sniffing everything. On limited activity due to recent surgery, Donkey was not his typical high energy self. (We have been playing "fetch" prior to his surgery) Today, he was more mellow, just laying down, enjoy the sun and the outside. Donkey gave me no problem putting him back into his kennel. BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION: EXPERIENCE (suitable for an adopter with some previous dog experience, especially with the behaviors outlined below) Potential challenges: Strength/leash pulling No children (under 13) Potential challenges comments: Strenght/leash pulling Donkey is a large, strong dog with the capability to pull over an average adopter. His adopter must be prepared and able to handle a dog of this size and strength. It is recommended that he be walked on a front clip harness or head halter, which help diminish his strength through leverage, and that he be trained using positive reinforcement, reward based training to not pull on leash. No children (under 13) Due to the behavior seen in the care center, we feel that Donkey may be intimidated by young children. He needs a slow approach and time to warm up. He should never be forced to interact with new people, and should be allowed to greet and initiate an interaction at his own pace. Older, gentle children should have an in-depth interaction prior to adoption. Animals, Bailey Jay, and Beautiful: Perfect, sweet, young throw-a-way Mama who dreams of love her Happy Ever After. Paige Id 24331, 3 yrs. Old Waiting for her Happy Every After Brooklyrn TO BE KILLED – 4/11/2018! “I am not afraid of storms. For I am learning how to sail my ship.” 💙 Three year old Paige was left in a car that was empty with a heart that is full. (The words of volunteer Misha Barbour who tells us that this incredible girl is absolute perfection. Paige is a one in a million, and she is hoping with all her heart that she will find her Happy Ever After before she ends up on a list to die. Won’t you save her life? As a volunteer writes: The best fairy tales sometimes start in the middle. Such is the case with Paige. A 3 year-old bunny found as a stray in an empty car, but with a heart that is utterly full. There's soft, there's sweet, there's soulful, and then of course there is Paige. Ever ready for a snuggle in her caramel coat, with her warm, amber eyes, and two ears perched like awnings ready to shield both of you from the storm. Paige is beautiful to look at, yes. But it's what lies beneath that makes her shine. From her calm, easy walk to her delicate way with treats, to how she sits in front of you waiting to hear what's next, Paige is a lady above all else. And oh, the conversations you'll have! Paige, with her happy grunts and snorts, her tilted head (the mark of a great listener), and her near "meows" when she's ready for another pet or treat, will be the best companion you'll ever have, and company you could possibly keep. Paige was brought to us as a stray, so much of her past is unknown. From the way she leans into hugs, we can wager she's known them before. And that she appears to be housebroken along with those great manners, it's more than likely she's known a home, now ready for another. There's soft, there's sweet, there's soulful, and then there's the wonder that's Paige. And while the best fairy tales sometimes start right in the middle, the very best have happy endings. Paige is waiting in adoptions at Manhattan ACC. Being Alone, Apparently, and Beautiful: HAPPY, SUPER SWEET, FRIENDLY SOCIAL GIRL DREAMS OF A FAMILY TO LOVE Angel wants her wings ld 32246, Spayed, 2 Yrs., 46 lbs. of Joy. Waiting for you at Br oo klyn ACC TO BE KILLED 3/28/19 Angel has a $500 stipend offer to a New Hope Partner. Adopted in July and returned in December, Angel thought she had found her forever family. And why not. She is simply a living doll in every possible way, and adored by volunteers. She is so loving and happy and sweet. Look at that smile. But time has passed, and families have passed her by, and now she sits in her kennel, her tail just ever so much lower than before, and less hope in her eyes then she used to have when greeting guests at her kennel door. She's watched with sadness as other dogs have left the shelter, and still she sits -- waiting, always waiting, for someone to pick her. She clearly doesn't understand why this is happening, and she's tired of sitting day after day in a small windowless kennel waiting for her 15 minute walk. We adore Angel, and we really want to see her finally get picked and leave the shelter with her tail held high and a big happy smile on her beautiful face. Please won't you save her life? She is now rated Rescue Only as her hope has deteriorated. It's shameful, because the ONLY reason she was ever there to begin with was due to a stinkin' landlord. Message our page or email us at [email protected]. A volunteer writes: The name Angel suits this caramel-colored beauty quite well. I found her wiggling with excitement in her kennel, and couldn't resist her sweet doe eyes, gentle kisses, and thumping tail. Besides one brief spurt of joy when she broke into a gallop, she walked nicely on the leash, though she was eager to say hello to anyone we passed. When we stopped and sat for a minute, she came and leaned her whole body into me, clearly happy for the love. Now all she needs is a home to give her that love all the time--I guarantee she'll give it right back. Volunteer Misha Barbour writes: Happiness is this face running towards you forever.🍭 Angel has been at Manhattan ACC since her return on February 13th. She is the kissiest, snuggliest, prettiest, playful-est, bestestess girl we know. She’s an angel. Who’s been waiting too long. Will you answer her (and our) prayers? Angel is waiting in adoptions at Manhattan ACC. MY VIDEO: A doll in every way <3 https://youtu.be/eAY5O-y-Y58 ANGEL, ID # 32246 @ 2 Yrs. Old, 47.4 lbs. Brooklyn ACC, Medium Mixed Breed, Brown / White, Spayed Female Return Owner Surrender Reason: I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 13-Feb-2019, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- landlord won't allow. PREVIOUS Shelter Assessment Rating: LEVEL 2 NEW Shelter Assessment Rating: New Hope Rescue Only OWNER SURRENDER NOTES - BASIC INFORMATION: Angel is a female that has no previous or current medical issues that the owner is aware of. Angel is a large mixed breed spayed dog and came to us as an owner surrender. Angel previously lived with 2 adults and 2 children. Around strangers, Angel will bark at new people. The previous owner mentioned that it seems like Angel barks at strangers more for attention. Angel previously lived in the home with two young toddlers. The previous owner mentioned that Angel is very protective of the children from the previous home. Their play is also described as playful but gentle. The previous owner mentioned that with the children, if Angel saw anyone going after them, she would guard the children and bark at whomever was going after them. While Angel did not live in the previous home with another dog, she has had some interaction with dogs on walks in public. Angel is described as dog reactive and when she sees another dog in public, she will lunge, pull, and bark at the dogs passing. Angel´s behavior around cats is unknown. Angel is not bothered when someone takes away her food, treats or toys; however, she was very protective of the children in her previous home. She has no known bite history, is housetrained and her energy level is descrived as between medium and high. Other Notes: When an unfamiliar person would approach the home or owner, Angel will bark at them. When Angel needs to use the bathroom she will cry until someone takes her on a walk For a New Family to Know Angel is described as friendly, playful and excitable. She has a medium activity level and likes to play with balls. In the home, she liked to follow the owner around from room to room. If the owner is not actively seeking attention, Angel might also be laying around in some of her favorite lounging spots. Angel was kept mostly indoors and is house trained. When left alone in the home, Angel was always well behaved. She knows the cues sit and come. For exercise, she was taken on brisk walks on the leash. When on leash, Angel will pull very hard when she sees another dog. Angel is crate trained and slept in her crate in the previous home. INTAKE NOTES – DATE OF INTAKE, 13-Feb-2019: Behavior during intake: Angel has a tense body during intake and was pacing around. Counselor was able to take a picture without any issues. Angel also allowed for the counselor to collar her. When other clients stepped into the intake room, Angel began to bark at them as they walked by and continued barking until she was taken out of the intake room. When a second male dog was brought out, Angel approached him at the gate then lunged and snapped through the gate. 7/13 (first stay): Angel lunged at the novel male dog when greeting at the gate, so she was muzzle prior to the gate opening. She approached the greeter with a softer body and placed her muzzle on his. After several seconds she would oscillated between pawing at the muzzle and sniffing the greeter. INTAKE BEHAVIOR - Date of intake: 13-Feb-2019 Summary: Tense, pacing, barking MEDICAL BEHAVIOR - Date of initial: 13-Feb-2019 Summary: Allowed handling ENERGY LEVEL: Her previous owner describes Angel as friendly, outgoing respectful dog with a medium-high energy level. BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION: Level 2 Behavior Asilomar H - Healthy Recommendations: No cats Single-pet home Recommend no dog parks Recommendations comments: No cats: Angel is reported to have shown an intense focus on cats(Hard barking, and chasing them)and as a result poses a potential safety risk for cats. She must not go to a home with resident cats or where she may come into contact with cats. Single-pet home/Recommend no dog parks: Due to the concerning behaviors that Angel has shown during playgroup, we feel that Angel should not visit dog parks and be the only resident dog. The Behavior Department recommends that she be socialized in a more controlled setting until her behavior towards other dogs can be further addressed. Reward-based, force-free training can be utilized to help Angel associate dogs with things she enjoys like toys or treats. Potential challenges: On-leash reactivity/barrier frustration Potential challenges comments: At the care center, Angel has been observed to react to other dogs on leash, lunging towards them, barking and growling. Angel may need positive reinforcement, reward based training to teach her to look at you rather than other dogs. Please see the On-Leash Reactivity handout to help manage this behavior. Being Alone, Apparently, and Beautiful: HAPPY, SUPER SWEET, FRIENDLY SOCIAL GIRL DREAMS OF A FAMILY TO LOVE Angel wants her wings ld 32246, Spayed, 2 Yrs., 46 lbs. of Joy. Waiting for you at Br oo klyn ACC TO BE KILLED 3/29/19 Angel has a $500 stipend offer to a New Hope Partner. Being Alone, Apparently, and Beautiful: HAPPY, SUPER SWEET, FRIENDLY SOCIAL GIRL DREAMS OF A FAMILY TO LOVE Angel wants her wings ld 32246, Spayed, 2 Yrs., 46 lbs. of Joy. Waiting for you at Br oo klyn ACC TO BE KILLED 3/23/19 Adopted in July and returned in December, Angel thought she had found her forever family. Brooklyn ACC, Medium Mixed Breed, Brown / White, Spayed Female Owner Surrender Reason: Returned, landlord won't allow. "Go home," she commanded and like the smart girl she is, Cali obediently walked into the kennel and watching her family walk away forever. She's a gorgeous 3 year old girl that lived in her previous home for two years her two adults and three children, ages 7 and 10, and she was gentle and friendly with them. Now she's lost it all because they decided to move to a place where pets are not allowed. She's Cali, cool and collected - isn't scared of thunder and fireworks, well behaved when home alone, friendly when being held or restrained and does not mind baths. But she does mind losing everything, her family - the big ones and the small ones - but she especially doesn't want to lose her life. Cali needs a good foster or adoptive home ASAP. She also displayed social behavior and allowed all handling. Summary:: See below assessment for details. Cali has displayed a high level of concerning behavior toward other dogs in the care center. She has also displayed the potential to redirect this arousal onto handlers by attempting to bite. Cali was muzzled when introduced to a male helper dog and attempted to bite through the muzzle. It is recommended that Cali be the only resident dog in a home and be kept out of dog park settings. For safety reasons, it is also recommended that Cali be walked with a basket muzzle in areas where there may be dog traffic. Summary (1):: Cali lunges toward the gate and attempts to bite when the male helper dog is walked over. The male helper dog is walked away and Cali continues to react by whining and attempting to escape the area in the direction of the helper. When a handler reaches their hand toward the gate, Cali jumps up and redirects arousal by attempting to bite their hand. Cali is muzzled and introduced to a different male helper. She follows while maintaining tense body posture, then pins him to the ground while attempting to bite through the muzzle. Date of intake:: 2/27/2018 Summary:: Cali had a relaxed body and allowed handling. Date of initial:: 2/28/2018 Summary:: Cali allowed handling. ENERGY LEVEL:: Cali's previous owner reported that she has a high level of activity. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in additional to physical exercise, to positively direct her energy and enthusiasm. BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION:: NEW HOPE ONLY Behavior Asilomar: TM - Treatable-Manageable Recommendations:: Single-pet home,Recommend no dog parks Recommendations comments:: Single pet home/no dog parks: It is recommended that Cali be the only resident dog in a home and be kept out of dog park settings. For safety reasons, it is also recommended that Cali be walked with a basket muzzle in areas where there may be dog traffic. New Hope Only: Based on the severity of Cali's dog reactivity, we believe she would benefit best from being placed with a rescue partner who can further assess her behavior in a stable home environment. We recommend exercising caution in the presence of other dogs and when attempting to work or modify this behavior as Cali has the propensity to redirect her arousal onto handlers. Force-free, reward based training only is advised; we are also highly recommending the use of a basket muzzle for Cali's safety in addition to safety of public passerby and animals. Potential challenges: : On-leash reactivity/barrier frustration,Strength/leash pulling,Low threshold for arousal Potential challenges comments:: Strength/leash pulling: Cali is a very large, strong dog with the capability to pull over an average adopter. Her adopter must be prepared and able to handle a dog of this size and strength. It is recommended that she be walked on a front clip harness or head halter, which help diminish his strength through leverage, and that she be trained using positive reinforcement, reward based training to not pull on leash. On leash/barrier reactivity: Based on the level of reactivity towards dogs displayed in the care center, we recommend exercising extreme caution in areas with other animals as Cali has attempted to redirect onto handlers during high states of arousal.
