What I want for history!tumblr in 2024 is for people to realize that things such as tone and intent can be very difficult to convey and understand through text and that somebody making a casually unpleasant comment about an historical figure you like doesn't necessarily mean that they're a worhtless pos who don't understand shit and that making an overly positive to the point of being a bit ridiculous comment about their own fav don't automatically mean that they're a dumbass stan with no judgement at all and that sometimes we can just all roll our eyes at at a bad take, move on and chill

I mean, it's not gonna happen obviously but I would still very much want that
