oh how I long for the day where fandom focuses its wanking towards something productive or beneficial to society
#but maybe I'm tired of feeling like people care more about racism/sexism/queerphobia in shows/books/movies#more than the actual real life atrocities that happen#like instead of getting angry at a show for not depicitng something squeaky clean and pure#you go after x y z government over their human rights abuses#but that would mean having to organize with other people#and actually get along instead of getting angry at someone for having a different opinion
