* drew starkey, cis male + he/him | you know theodore padget, right? theyāre twenty-four, and theyāve lived in irving for, like, eight years? well, their spotify wrapped says they listened to dark child by marlon williams like, a million times this year, which makes sense ācause theyāve got that whole sunglasses indoors, loud words to hide a deep emptiness, bruises covering a shirtless chest thing going on. i just checked and their birthday is december 25th, so theyāre a capricorn, which is unsurprising, all things considered. (cornelia, 21, est, she/her)
hey i told myself i wouldnāt take any more characters bc i really wanted to develop antonia bt here i am :)Ā
his father might as well have been named greed. theodore was a christmas miracle to both of his parents ā the first son of the couple, but the third child.Ā
his father took him under his wing, making him a prodigy.Ā ātake, son. the world is yours, and you can take what you want.ā he told theo this day in and day out until it molded to his brain.
his father ran his business and theo went to boarding school. he was out of his element there. he was just like every other kid attending. rich. spoiled. handed everything. he joined the football team to stand out. he stole test answers when his grades almost got him kicked off.Ā
every week heād call his father, reporting about his classes and his grades and how he did at practice. he acted in a way that would make his father proud. he acted like he was a king.
he spent more time gossiping in class than paying attention. he was lazy. he didnāt care because he knew everything would work out in his favor. arrogant and cruel, his ego was too inflated for his own good. he tossed girlfriends and boyfriends and best friends aside like they were toys to be used once. he stole his friends significant others only because he wanted what he didnāt have. he wasnāt kind; he was gluttonous.Ā
one night he and his buddies saw the headmasterās car. it was a nice car, and they hotwired it, taking it for a joyride. going 120 in a 45, it didnāt take long before they were pulled over. but their parents pulled some strings, saving them from jail time and saving them from getting expelled. check out the padget library :)Ā
he was sixteen when his world came crashing down around him. his father was arrested for embezzlement and all funds were drained from their accounts. theo returned home to boston, his head held low. his dad had made sure he was theoās whole world. in that moment, his father was dead to him. but in all of his anger, in all of his fear, he didnāt see that he was just like him with his own lying and stealing and cheating. no longer able to afford their big house in boston, his mother moved him and his two sisters to irving, nc.Ā
he joined the football team at his new, local, public high school, but didnāt get much playing time because he was new. when he threw a tantrum, demanding he be a starter, he was kicked off. he started boxing after school, and even took up skateboarding. but he was a mean kid, still feeling entitled to everything, yet feeling disillusioned towards everything his father had taught him.
he didnāt go to college after graduating high school. he started working to help support his mom and two sisters. there wasnāt anything he was passionate about. he used to want to be a business man like his father, but after the scandal, he wanted nothing to do with him. while working in a restaurant, he learned how to cook and found he actually enjoyed it. honing this skill became a priority to him. he still lives at home because heās saving up to go to culinary school.Ā
theodore is a mess of contradictions. heās self-absorbed but heās considerate. he likes to be alone but heās great at small talk. heās argumentative but he is inclusive. he sees two versions of himself: the one before and the one after. he has this image of who he wants to be, but having acted one way for so long, he finds it difficult to change those ways. he still feels like itās his world and everyone is visiting, but heās trying to accept his circumstances and adapt to them. he can be mean and cruel and haughty, but he makes up for it with small gestures of kindness that cause people to wonder if heās really a bad guy. he doesnāt have bad intentions, but he doesnāt know how to change.Ā
HCS
the only pastry he likes is snickerdoodle cookies.
he claims he learned to cook from watching ratatouille.Ā Ā
sometimes, he graffitis walls around irving just to remind himself that he can still leave a mark.
hobbies include skateboarding, drag racing, boxing, and hiking. he also likes to gamble and has gotten into trouble his fair share of times from not paying up (ask about the scar on his collarbone).Ā
he is the best gift giver you could ever meet. he pays attention and knows what people want without them ever having to say it. he has a sixth sense for it. but donāt you dare ask him to move his cart in the grocery store.Ā
a bad neighbor. very loud and vey inconsiderate. no matter how many times his mom and neighbors have told him to keep it down, he doesnāt listen because heās twenty-two. heās an āadultā.
WCS
people who hated him when he moved to irving. he came from wealth and privilege and expected things to be the same when he moved, but they werenāt. even though he lost everything, he acted like he didnāt, which i can imagine rubbed people the wrong way.Ā
on the flip side, your muse was really nice to him, but he took that as pity and lashed out and was mean, but your muse kept trying to help him anyway.Ā
something based on this quote. they are opposites and your muse doesnāt take his bs and they think they can never relate. but somehow (tbp) they open up to each other and realize they arenāt so different and there is this quiet, steady acceptance between them. they can rely on each other.
based off of this quote. someone who only knows him from now. they think he is good and cool and passionate. heās not but he doesnāt want to prove them wrong. he tries to be the person they think he is, but will that be enough to make him change :eyes:Ā
these are just a couple of initial ideas that can be used as jumping off points !! pls everyone im begging you come plot with this manĀ
#irvingintro#violence tw#// i think that's the only one???#// bt if yall see any others please let me know !!

20. I have the ability to use all my limbsĀ
Growing up with both my parents, I was able to get my basic necessities and more. I never had to worry about working in HS and even my early college years, as my family supported me financially. I also grew up attending a private school and then going straight to college. I did not have to worry about how I was going to pay for school or for bills. I was very blessed in that sense. With that being said with all the privileges and including privileges that are relevant to ability and citizenship,Ā
I never had to worry about common things dome people aren't able to do. Over the years you gain insight and notice how much privilege you actually have as a person. Having these privileges also made a negative impact, because you take a lot for granted and never realize what people are going through until you see It first hand. Without these privileges though it would be a lot harder to do certain things, also it would be stressful as well as living in constant fear of what could happen. Educating other people and myself about the privileges and opportunities I have and other too. You can use privileges for many things, helping people out physically, emotionally and even financially.Teaching people around you makes people become open minded and more tolerate about things in society.Ā
Since I have certain privilege and not others, I defiantly could experience both worlds. Being a trans woman has its flaws if you are around the wrong people, and even having privilege class wise but your skin color doesn't match ti could cause issues. Experiences like these help you grow as a person .
The video shows the broad spectrum of privilege, so people have certain ones, just so much intersects with one another and some have more or less benefits. Some people can have way more privilege compared to certain people.Ā
