For the sake of having a comparison to get my point across further. Imagine watching an episode of a superhero show where the entire episode isbdedicated to having the hero team up with another superhero, and then calling the other superhero a cameo. That's basically how Star Wars fandom uses the word.

#like imagine watching that episode of superman tas where he races flash and they fight weather wizard #and being like was that fllash cameo really necessary?#or that avengers emh episode where cap teams up with spider-man #or that teen titans episode where they team up with doom patrol #or that wolverine and the x-men episode with the hulk #or like the entire last season of the batman where he teams up with other justice league members in most of the episodes #or that spider-man tas episode with daredevil #and so on and so forth #like if you've any of those you'll probably agree it'd be inaccurate to call them cameos #but if we used that word as liberally as sw fandom does they'd probably be labeled as such #shut up tristan
