I love Michael Wayland, but man he picked the most boring person to fall for. 80s punk rock Stephen Herondale was right there. Lucian bloody Graymark was right there. Hell, even Valentine would’ve been more interesting than who he actually went for

#reading tales from shadowhunter academy right now and this is all i can think #like if you’re going to have an illicit gay crush in the 1980s; why would you pick robert lightwood of all people #i know good and well he was no more interesting as a teenager #anyway my review of tfsa now that i’m ~two thirds of the way through it is… it’s fun? there’s not a lot of substance in here though #like i’m ngl; i’ve read all the main series books and also gotsm so i knew pretty much all of these stories lol #the only one that really surprised me was the one about the blackthorn brothers because jfc that was dark #no wonder my main man arthur isn’t all there #but yeah. i forgot how much i love simon lewis. he really is just some guy. he’s iconic for that #i like all these new characters as well.. but i do have a horrible feeling something is going to happen to george #i just know that simon takes the name lovelace when he ascends and like.. would he do that if george was still alive?#nothing to stop him doing so but it’d kinda sound like they were married #please cassandra don’t kill my 6’5 scottish sex god. most bizarre sentence i’ve ever typed #anyway if you need me i’ll be eating an easter egg and reading this book #personal #tsc
