friendly reminder that putting 'x reader' as the label on your fic and then using a cover photo with a waif thin, petite, rapunzel ass, instagram aesthetic, white woman as the very first impression of what your fic is supposed to be about is a dick move

even if you don't add any descriptors of what the reader looks like in your fic (which, most of you slip up and do add them and don't care to edit them out) - having the audience's very first impression of your fic be that the love interest is a thin white woman says a lot about your unconscious thought process while writing the fic.

it says a lot about who you consider to be desirable in society and who you want your audience to be thinking about and picturing while reading the fic, when they should be thinking about and picturing themselves being desired by their favourite characters for polite escapism.
