the overlap between this boom in tumblr porn bots and the sudden shift in approach that youtube comment bots have taken is. interesting to say the least
#angel.txt#idk if they actually happened around the same time or if i’m just noticing them at the same time but wow#the youtube bots are so interesting right now?#they’ll all comment the same generic stuff but it’ll come off as super realistic to people who dont notice the pfps or usernames#it’s like they’re throwing either all the comments on the video or the auto-generated captions into some AI to generate a feasable comment#like im watching a colleen ballanger vlog and 50 top comments mention her by name and her family and her kids and shit its Weird!!?#like if this is the next step up after making their pfp/username match the uploader and replying to people with video chat prize scam links#then wow idk if i want to know what comes after this#its funny tho im realizing now it’s probably a new approach to how youtube will display @usernames instead of display names in comments#so the ‘i want to chat with you!’ creator scam isnt feasable anymore hskdjdk
