i saw people arguing against the women’s title match main eventing aew this week because it didnt have the post match story of the no stakes dudes tag match at the end and lmao almost like they could’ve like. written a story. for the women.

#i havent even seen dynamite yet but like dshlkdshjksd lads. the cognitive disonance. astounding.#i keep putting off aew cause like the amount of homework i'll have to put into getting any of these ''''storylines'''' like. untenable!#there's a lot of discourse now over who's gonna win the new wednesday night wars and obvs it's gonna be whoever can get new audiences #all the old fans that all these promotions are targeting are literally dying out please make this shit more accessible!#i dont know what a jon moxley is!!!!!!!! i dont know why we're meant to care when swagger or whoever the fuck that is shows up at the end!!!#and like ive been watching wrestling for over a year and a half now and i know this is a medium that appeals to me #but oh my GOD the amount of homework involved to understand why im meant to care about anything happening in the FIRST episode of this #weekly tv show sdjdhjdskjhljk!!!!!!!!! what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#like if aew cant manage to make ME think id be able to follow along #how on earth are ppl totally new to wrestling meant to think this could possibly be for them #it'd be so so easy to make wrestling cool and palatable in 2019 and everyone keeps fucking it up it's so FUNNY #do all the old school shit with jericho and omega and moxley and whoever part of the show and support it with interviews/promo packages #to follow along like #but keep the womens TITLE match to the end of the card #and have nyla become the inaugural champion bc a) she deserves it and b) she'd draw SO much buzz #like trans ppl in sports is such a hot button topic rn #and you'd definitely get headlines in mainstream publications about this new wrestling show getting a trans inaugural champion #then you'd get plenty of woke millennials and gen z's looking up aew bc it seems totally counter to wwe attitude era which is what most #people think of when they hear about wrestling #anyway you'd get tons of new fans bein like huh wrestling is woke now this is so much better than i remember wwe #and also OBVIOUSLY spend time developing your women's storylines so there's a reason to keep tunijng in #and dont rely on people giving a shit abt the name jericho or whatever bc that doesnt mean anything to any normal human #anyway. anyway! it'll be interesting seeing how this shit progresses lol #media thots #tags on tags on tags #o
