I love reading one (1) fic and immediately being infected with brainworms about the ship it’s about
#it was a meronia fic obviously#i think because mattxmello was my introduction to shipping; meronia is something i haven’t really considered that much#i mean i Have considered it because i’m obsessed with both near and mello and also it’s a very popular ship#like i’ve definitely read meronia before. i just hadn’t read any that was This Good#i’m drafting a comment to the author because i need them to know that i now have brainworms because of them#like it’s… it’s the rivalry. the Completely Onesided rivalry. it’s mello’s feelings of inadequacy. near adoring mello beyond all reason#matt probably knowing all of this and thinking ‘god can they just kiss already it’s been years’#sidenote i have Always had the baseless headcanon that matt is the smartest of the three and just can’t be bothered showing it#and this author also threw in a line about that!!!#i need to draft a comment. that is exactly the right level of insane#personal
