really interesting how target pulls pride merch from not only stores but also their WEBSITE over “concerns over team member safety,” in at least one case without even notifying the designer(s) who created it or checking in on them despite being well aware the same people threatening team members were threatening them. but when i worked at target and we had an incident where there was a full-on brawl between a guest and a security officer involving blood, m&ms, wine, and broken glass all over the floor and we all had to hide in the tech room for several minutes while 20+ police officers showed up to handle the situation. corporate wouldn’t even let us stay closed long enough to get everything cleaned up and we were literally having to warn people who were coming in to pick up their online orders to watch out for the blood on the floor
