even though i never plan on doing it, i will never not be compelled by the sheer fucked up-ness of the concept of aeryn/astarion romance. aeryn/karlach too. pretty much everyone honestly

i mean no matter who he romances he’s gonna betray them for gortash in the end, so it kinda doesn’t matter who it is. he has this weird version of “universally shippable” because of that. it’s very fun to imagine, not just what the relationship would be like, but specifically the betrayal. the hurt.

falling in love with someone, realising they’re fucked in the head, meeting the guy who did the fucking, watching them leave you to go back to that shithead like the life-changing last month or so didn’t even happen, and then watching them die in his arms with a smile on his face.

like yeah they stop the elder brain but that shit would have you fucked UP for a good long while afterwards

Aeryn/Gortash - as a singular entity - needed to be stopped. terminated. put down.#and the companions do save the world. it’s safe not only from the netherbrain but. like i said. gortash and aeryn #it’s a happy ending for the companions overshadowed by the horrors aeryn and gortash inflicted on them #i think for astarion and shadowheart especially there’s this deep-rooted empathy despite the horrors that they can’t fight #which leads to sick fascination and a need to Understand him.#how someone with such a strong desire to Be Good could fail in such a spectacular fashion over and over again and not learn his lesson #lmao it’s kinda like that tiktok trend ‘when your card declines in therapy and they bring out the one you can’t stop rambling about’#that’s post-campaign shart/astarion about aeryn #ok i’m done now no more rambling about how Fascinating my oc is it’s getting annoying #your daily dose of idiocy #oc aeryn
