NOTE: I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THESE CHARACTERS. (Also, I’m a sappy, silly, dork at times. Sorry not sorry.)
The boys reactions to learning their s/o has been kidnapped
Fem Reader x : Muzan, Gyutaro, Rengoku, Sanemi
WARNINGS: use of ‘naughty words’, mentions of blood, rape, mutilation, death, violence, and possible spoilers.
MUZAN KIBUTSUJI
It was supposed to be your last day under the sunlight, that had been your request. Muzan had found you far too intriguing (he would never admit to actually having developed feelings for you) to leave you as a mere human, and you for your part had fallen hard for the red-eyed King of the Demons. Granting you one last day in the sunlight was a small price
or it should have been.
Muzan’s nerves were already on edge. He did not like you being away where he could not watch you and be certain of your safety, but Douma had humans with you, other humans that were to see to your every desire for the day. Muzan had ensured they would have ample funds to do so. It would be fine, at least that’s what he kept trying to tell himself all the way up until Douma appeared before him and tossed a mangled human at his feet.
Muzan had seen Douma assume many expressions and faces over the centuries, but the death glare down at the now legless man at his feet did not help Muzan’s nerves. Before Muzan could snap at Douma that he did not require anyone else to do his hunting for him, Douma snarled at the human. “Repeat what you just said to me.”
Muzan actually took the time to look then and noticed the robes the man wore. He was a member of Douma’s cult and his face looked vaguely familiar, but the words he uttered through pain stilled the Demon Lord’s heart in his chest, before his blood raged to life through his body.
“T-took her.”
“What do you mean by that?” Muzan's quiet question that was laced with a thousand promises of pain beyond imagination if the answer received was anything but pleasing.
“S-swords. Men with swords. They,” the man coughed another pile of blood at his feet before he stopped breathing.
“Demon slayers, my lord,” Douma answered from a prostate position.
Before he could blink, Douma’s head was snapped back, clawed hands fisted in his hair forcing the multi-colored eyes to meet the furious ruby of the Demon King.
Slowly, as if dragging the words from the pits of his now hollow stomach, Muzan ordered, “Where
is
she?”
Douma blinked only once before he heard the familiar strum of the biwa and four other demons appeared on the floor behind him.
*******************************************************************
You sat up, still with your hands bound before you, in front of the men gathered. There were two women but you would not look at them. All you could feel was cold fear and rage. They had been going on for hours now, asking questions that you gave only short, curt replies to
 if you answered at all.
“You don’t seem to understand just what kind of monster that man is!”
That did it. You snarled out, “You don’t get to call him a monster when you are the ones that murdered my escorts.”
“It might seem that way,” one of the women spoke up and you snapped a glare at her smiling face. Her bangs hang loose, but otherwise her hair was drawn back in a bun, behind a butterfly of all things. You silently scoff at the concept. “We were actually saving you.”
There was no keeping the scoff silent that time.
The smile faded from her face barely before she forcibly replaced it. “We were.”
“From what? A happy life?” You didn’t wait for any of them to answer. “They were to escort me to gather the rest of my matrimonial supplies and you killed them and you expect me to believe a single lie that drips out of your open maw.”
“This poor woman.” The giant rubbed his beads between his hands again as he began crying. “He has deceived her.”
“She’ll need to remain restrained.” The heterochromatic gaze made you shiver on its own, nevermind the albino snake slithering over his shoulders. “She managed to do quite a bit of damage to slayers that rescued her.”
“Captured,” you snipe back. “Not rescued.”
“Look, sweetheart,” the large man with gems hanging from his hitai-ate on either side of his face began in a far gentler tone than the rest had used, “you’re safe now. The demons aren’t going to get you here. That’s what we call rescued. Yeah?”
You scoff and purposely turn your face from him. As if. Muzan was nothing but gentle with me and would murder any demon who tried.  Your eyes find his face and harden into (e/c) chips. “You are the only ones to cause me harm.”
“Do we know why Muzan wanted her?” the man with hair akin to living flame asked loudly. It was like he didn’t know how to talk if he wasn’t shouting and much like your lover, the noise grated your nerves.
“Nope,” the flamboyant shinobi answered. “She still won’t say.”
“I think we should schedule a watch. Make sure no other demons come looking for her,” the scarred over man stated.
You couldn’t help the smile that crept up your lips then. You do that. Your gaze fell to the now setting evening sun. It was beautiful, the vibrant blue shifting into orange and red hues as if the sun itself knew what you did.
“It won’t matter,” you stated proudly. Your heart beat in your chest steadily and you smiled pleasantly at the fools before you whose mouths dropped at the beauty you could radiate. This view was for him, for the thought of your Lord that you knew was coming for you. “You’ll all be dead by dawn.”
Despite their pestering, you said nothing more for the remainder of the sunset, slowly watching that brilliant orb sink below the mountains with a radiant smile placed on your face. In its final glory, the sun painted the sky a vibrant vermillion that evening and you could think of nothing more than the beautiful red eyes of your Lord and the arms you wished so desperately to return to.
GYUTARO SHABANA
Gyutaro smiled his too wide smile down at the necklace. Daki had helped him select it. She didn’t understand his obsession with you but she did like that you at least caused her otherwise maudlin brother to smile once in a while so she was tolerant of you. It wasn’t like you’d ever compare with her in his heart anyway, right?
Gyutaro adored the way you would take his face in your hands and smile at him, telling him that he didn’t need to bring you things. You were just a simple farm girl after all. Such finery was for high class ladies.
“I’m just happy to see you again.”
The memory of those words made his grin go wider. His hopeful eyes met his sister’s. “Should I ask her
to become a demon like us?”
Daki smiled fondly and squeezed his shoulders in a hug. “I’m sure you’ll know that answer when it's the right time. For now, the sun has finally set. I’ll step back. Go to her.” And with that she surrendered full control to him and Gyutaro stood, gently cradling the gift for you in both hands.
************************************************************************
Gyutaro arrived at your meeting spot, in the shadows of the fields and froze. The door to your home was never left open. Cold panic sank in his stomach as he sprang across the fields. Your father always kept a single light in the window, but the house was dark and the closer he got, the more he could smell the scent he recognized immediately
blood.
Frozen in the doorway, the scene before him turned his stomach. The walls were spattered in blood, the two little bodies of your younger siblings both mutilated. There was a woman on the bed, older, must have been your mother. Gyutaro looked away. What had been done didn’t need to be guessed at.
The man on the floor, a large pulsing gash of blood still seeping out into his garments still, mumbled and Gyutaro leaned closer.
“Sa-save
ha
Took
y/n.” It was the last wish of your dying father.
I’m not eating that, Daki echoed through their link but he barely heard her for the blood filling his ears.
His kamas appeared in his hands to a blood curdling screams that erupted from him before his feet were moving. The bandits had left obvious footprints to follow and this wasn’t the first time he pursued humans, but it was the fastest. His vision clouded in red as he saw only his target, only the patterns of feet and something heavy being dragged between them. He would get there. He would find you and save you and convince you to become a demon, so no one could do this to you ever again.
KYOJURO RENGOKU
Kyojuro hummed to himself as he opened the doors to his home one handed, balancing a load of groceries you had asked for on the other hand. His lovely wife sending him on errands first thing in the morning was nothing new. After all, you saw to the whole estate and made sure Senjuro was getting his study time in even when Kyojuro was away.
You supported your husband in everything, especially in being a Hashira and striving to improve the Corps from the top. Kyojuro chuckled to himself as he thought of your insistence that he take a Tsuguko so he could eventually retire.
“I do support you, my light. I just,” you had paused to blush that pretty blush he loved so across your cheeks back to your ears, “sometimes I want you to myself too.”
“Y/n! I’m back!” he called with a grin as he set the items down in your kitchen.
When you didn’t immediately answer, Kyojuro’s brows furrowed and he began wandering the estate calling to you.
Finally he stepped out into the yard and raised his arm, calling “Kaname!”
Kaname alighted to his raised wrist and peered up at him.
“Kaname, I cannot find y/n anywhere. Could you find her?”
“But of course.” And Kaname alighted once more.
Kyojuro’s earlier smile failed to reappear as his instincts overrode his gleeful personality. Something was wrong.
“Brother?” Senjuro called as he walked out onto the patio.
Kyojuro walked over.
“Are you training, y/n again today?” Senjuro asked, glancing about for you.
Kyojuro couldn’t resist the smile that took him then. “I was actually looking for her. Have you seen her?”
Senjuro seemed almost to freeze, staring up at his brother as if he might have grown another head. “But she went into town with you
to get your steamed buns, right?”
Kyojuro laughed then. “That woman. Such a handful.” He grinned at his little brother. “I hope when you marry, that you find a more docile wife.”
“I don’t want to marry at all. Those things are trouble,” Senjuro shot back.
Kyojuro’s hearty laugh filled the courtyard.
“Seems the boy at least learned something useful from your wife,” Shinjuro jibed. “Probably should go after her though.”
“And why is that, father? Y/n is capable after all.”
Shinjuro glared heavily at him. “Because capable or not a woman shouldn’t be on her own. Now get going!”
Kyojuro caught the sake bottle hurled his way and set it gracefully on the porch before grinning down to Senjuro. “When I come back, we can all train.”
“Lotta good that’ll do ya,” Shinjuro grumbled and wandered off.
**************************************************************************
Meaning to surprise your husband with his favorite steamed buns, you had slipped into town after he left. What you had not intended, was to be held up before you could leave. The men blocking your way were not on the list of things that needed handling today but it seemed, they were going to insist.
“Please stand aside. I need to get through.”
Their sick chuckles were really answer enough but you held hope one of them would see sense and move.
“Pretty thing like you shouldn’t be wandering about alone. Why don’t we keep you company?” was followed by another round of chuckling.
“I am never alone. My husband’s light accompanies me everywhere. As does his strength.”
“That light’s welcome to come with us too,” one sniped on a grin.
“Yeah. Your husband’s light can shine on my cock all it likes.” Another round of chuckles as she sigh and slowly shake your head.
“How uncouth.”
SANEMI SHINAZUGAWA
Sanemi grinned as he bowed off to Muichiro and Iguro.
“Thanks for another fun night.”
Iguro only scoffed and Muichiro cocked his head to the side. “Your standards for fun seem very different lately.”
Jumping on the chance, Iguro teasingly asked, “Is it because of y/n?”
“Pft, as if,” Sanemi snarled, turning away, though neither sparring partner missed the dusting of pink over his cheeks to the question. “Man can’t enjoy a good sparring match now or something?”
“I didn’t say that,” Muichiro started as he began walking away. “Only that you seem to have gotten stronger since you began dating-”
“We’re not dating,” Sanemi snapped quickly.
“Uh-huh,” Iguro agreed sarcastically. “You’re just training and fucking. No one calls that dating. Oh, and living together. And eating together. And -”
“Shut up, snake head, before I really give it to ya.”
“Give it to her. I’m out of here.”
Muichiro smirked before putting it away and continuing his walk. They would walk together as usual for part of the way back so he could ask after.
And when they were nearly to Shinazugawa’s residence, he did. “Are you going to allow her to join the corps?”
Usually, Sanemi would snap at the question but this time, he didn’t get the chance.
“Lord Tokito! Lord Shinazugawa! Thank goodness!” the out of breath kakushi managed as he doubled over before them heaving breath. “Miss y/n
and mister Kanamori
have been
.captured.”
Sanemi’s feet were moving before the kakushi could finish their report. YOU IDIOT!! How could you let yourself get caught?! Sanemi dodged between branches of the forest at a full run. He had trained you better than that. Even made you promise not to join the corps if he trained you personally and now

“Dammit!”
“I don’t think expletives will help us find them any faster,” Muichiro commented from his side, keeping up with his stride nearly soundlessly.
************************************************************************
One hand to the weapon, the other set out beside you as you spoke, though never turning from the opponents in front of you. “Stay behind me, Mister Kanamori.”
“I’m so sorry. I feel I should be the one protecting you,” Kanamori stated meekly, though he obeyed.
You couldn’t help but smirk. “Then you don’t know my lover,” you stated as the other hand set to the hilt. “Now come at me, you bastards.”
Special thank you to Miss Vry for helping me with tags :D

Jaune's Final Act
Jaune: Okay, so from all the information you all have shown me, again thank you all, I think we should discuss some things.
Winter: Indeed.
Ruby: We need to do something.
Jaune: Okay, first let's discuss the Crown. As Coco told me they were a horrible organization. They target people, especially with valuable semblances. Not to mention they are now partner with Tyrian. A wild card that we may not be able to predict.
Qrow: Yeah he is a slipper guy.
Jaune: We have no idea what their next move will be so we need to be prepared. So I think we send Emerald Sustrai in to infiltrate and spy on them.
Ruby: What- No!
Jaune: I’m sorry why not?
Nora: Jaune we can't trust her.
Jaune: why not?
Yang: Well she-
Jaune: Penny is dead. You got a new arm. Your name is clear. Get over it. First off, we don't know what Tyrian knows. Tyrian might not know what's happened in Atlas. Even so, we’re not letting go as she but in disguise.
Nora: But Jaune-Jaune-
Jaune: The woman helped us in evacuation. And has not she not protected this city from Grimm?
Winter: Well-
Ren: She probably informed Cinder and that's-
Jaune: Has anyone interrogated her? Robyn.
Robyn: Well um-
Jaune: So we jump to conclusions. Plus this is perfect for her to prove herself so why not let her walk?
Blake: Jaune she was a-
Jaune: Blake we have files and you told me about your old life so don't try to play.
Blake:

Jaune: Yang didn't you destroy someone's property and drive past the speed limit? Shouldn't you be in debt?
Yang:

Jaune: Ruby you interfered in the hunting business more than one time. You know you could've been charged a fine right? In fact, you be arrested.
Ruby: Um

Jaune: And Weiss. You. Your sister. Your mom. Or your brother. Someone's could do some time considering the Schnees' shady deals. In fact, Klian can take the fall.
Weiss and Winter: *scared*
Jaune: Like I said let her walk. We need her. Next is the Grimm attacks. They are skyrocketing. This may be due to our mistake of bringing too many people to Vacuo. Not to mention Vale citizens. So
I am afraid we need to escort some of them out.
Robyn: What?! Objection!
Obleck: I agree, Mr.Arc. That is cruel.
Jaune: Oh really how so?
Robyn: We can't force these people out. They will have nowhere to go.
Jaune: We forcefully brought these people here. They don't like being here let alone with each other.
Robyn: Well our people-
Jaune: Stop. You talk a big game yet you haven't done jack for your people. Where were you when they needed you? What were you doing besides making their situation worse?
Robyn: EXCUSE ME!? I’ll have you-
Jaune: When you kept stealing from the military did you ever occur to you that could have caused Martial law to be In place? In fact, even without Martial law, you caused more problems like with more security. More guns. Largerer curfew hours. Was what you were trying to accomplish worth that than for your people?
Robyn:

Jaune: Not to mention Tyrian wouldn't be here or alive if it wasn't for a certain someone or two people for letting him escape. Was that worth it to you? Considering he hurt your team too.
Robyn:

Winter: Say that we do consider your suggestion. How would we go about it and where would they go?
Jaune: I already spoke with Mr. Belladonna.
Blake: My father.
Jaune: Yep and he agrees to help. In fact, he said he could use some more hands considering the state Mantle was left in.
Ren: That isn't enough.
Jaune: Well he also wanted to talk with you on this Ren.
Ren: He wants to use my old village.
Jaune: Yep to expand Faunus territory, gain more human relationships, and restore it. He even believes since it's your home you should one day lead it.
Ren: But-
Jaune: Regardless that village is unclaimed territory right now. If he doesn't get it someone else will. I just want you to have your home back. You can discuss the terms with him. Your choice.
Ren: Okay.
Nora: Wait. Jaune
this could lead to our team-
Jaune: I know.
Winter: Okay besides that just Mistral-
Ruby: Well we have Argus but we also have that one village we went to. And with Apathy gone, we could use that.
Jaune: But if that's the case we still need to send hunters to help.
Raven: Woo-woo kid. We can't send hunters on escort missions.
Theodore: Yes we need as many hunters as possible.
Jaune: Yes but we need to escort these people safely out of the city.
Theodore: Are you suggesting what I think you are?
Jaune:

Theodore: No.
Jaune: Sir please -
Theodore: They're just kids. First year.
Jaune: One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Six. Seven. Eight. And nine for Pyrrha. Ten of you count Penny.
Theodore: Your point?
Jaune: Pyrrha a first year chosen to be a maiden. She died. Penny, another first year, was placed in charge of an entire city. Became soon after. Died.
Theodore: Mr. Arc I will have you know I am nothing like Ironwood and Ozpin.
Jaune: I know. But my point still stands. These people, students, wanted to be hunters. But they lack experience. So why not give it to them? Let them show what they got. I mean they will be monitored but still.
Theodore: Very well.
Raven: Now for the tribes.
Jaune: We already set up a meeting with them after this one.
Raven: What?
Theodore: It's true. We need to know what tribes will be against us and who we can trust. You Miss Branwen will be my ascort.
Raven:
.
Jaune: You have more tribal knowledge than any of us. You're our best shot.
Raven:

Jaune: So. Does anyone have any suggestions or questions about this?
Everyone is silent.
Jaune: Look I understand I sound cruel. But I rather for once be ahead of the game this time.
Yang: You can’t control everything Jaune.
Jaune: I know. But at least I’m doing whatever I can instead of being an ass.
Raven: We’re screwed.
After a long battle.
Raven: Holy crap.
Emerald: That’s right. That’s right. I did this. I came through. Mercury.
Mercury: I’m officially on the hero’s side. I’m nothing like my father.
Emerald: That’s right.
Ren: My village will restored. And one day I must lead it. Blake, I hope you will help me.
Blake: Of course my friend.
Oobleck: Our numbers have increased. New homes have been established.
Theodore: We still have the relic despite losing our maiden. But that was the casualty of war.
Ruby: I got maiden powers now.
Jaune: You're the main character.
Ruby: F*** you.
Raven: We really increased our chances. Get work kid.
Jaune: Yeah
 *died*
Ruby: No!
Cinder: *laugh* F*** you b****!
Ruby: I WILL KILL YOU!
In heaven
Jaune: Damn. Well, at least I turned up one last time.
Pyrrha: Jau-Jaune!
Jaune: Pyrrha. Penny! Alyx! Lewis!
Jaune hugs all of them.
Pyrrha: I’m so- I’m so- sorry.
Penny: I am too.
Jaune: Don’t be. I wish I’m sorry I-
Pyrrha: It’s okay. You did great out there.
James: I think-
Penny: Shut up.
Summer: I mean-
Pyrrha: You died for nothing.
Jaune: I mean, come on, I died but at least I gave the world a better chance to survive. I focused on what mattered in the present instead of the future which changes constantly. I tried to bring humans and faunas together for a common goal and maintain relationships even after Salem was finished.
In hell
Adam: Damn
In heaven
Jaune: I may have lost my life I didn’t go out like a b****. A coward. And a control freak. I went out like a G. Like Roman.
In hell
Roman: Damn right.
In heaven.
Jaune: Now you excuse.
Pyrhha: *lifted bridal style*
Jaune: I think you owe me something for all my troubles.
Pyrrha: *blushes*Um.
Jaune takes Pyrrha away.
Penny: Have fun you two!

So this is almost certainly going to be an unpopular opinion for some, but for a long time now I’ve been feeling that the RWBY fandom puts just a bit TOO much stock in the various fairytale/mythology/literary allusions of the characters when it comes to theory-crafting. It feels like people find out that a certain character A is an allusion to another character B from an already completed story and go ‘Well that must mean that Character A is going to turn out just like Character B!’
Which of course completely ignores that these are allusions and references. Ruby Rose might have strong parallels and similarities to Little Red Riding Hood, but that does not mean she IS literally Little Red Riding Hood. Just as Weiss Schnee is NOT literally Snow White, Penny Polendina is NOT literally Pinocchio and Oscar Pine is NOT literally the Little Prince. Ultimately, whatever allusion a character might have comes SECOND to who they are as an actual character, NOT the other way around.
Whatever allusions a character has might inform what could happen to them, but that should still be treated as secondary to what we actually see them do in the show.
For example, I see a LOT of ships in the RWBY fandom that people seem to largely use interpretations of the characters’ allusions as ‘evidence’, rather than what the characters actually DO in the actual SHOW. Like has anyone noticed that discussions of ships like Bumbleby, Renora, Nuts and Dolts or White Rose have historically not involved much interpretation (relatively speaking anyway) of the potential ‘complimentary allusions’ of these characters? Because there is no NEED to, because all the evidence for these ships is right fucking there on the screen. Meanwhile we’ve got ships (and I am NOT naming names) that people will swear up and down are TOTALLY going to be canon for really-realsies where most or even all of the ‘evidence’ consists of people effectively playing some kind of matching game with their allusions. Or saying nothing more than ‘Character A kinda-sorta resembles the love-interest of Character B’s allusion’.
And ALL of this doesn’t even take into account the biggest factor which I keep getting the impression that WAY too many RWBY fans still having gotten the memo on:
The fact that RWBY literally NEVER plays its allusions STRAIGHT.
All the way from minute one when we saw an allusion to Little Red Riding Hood cutting down a horde of Big Bad Wolves, RWBY has ALWAYS been subverting, inverting, flipping, twisting and otherwise playing it’s allusions, references and archetypes literally ANY way but actually STRAIGHT.
Little Red Riding Hood hunts the Big Bad Wolf. Snow White is equal parts Princess AND Knight in Shining Armor. Cinderella is a tragic villain origin story. Pinocchio was always a real girl. The Great and Powerful Wizard Oz is far more powerful than anyone thought, but is ALSO far more of a fraud than anyone thought.
So when people use these characters’ allusions as some kind of rigid road-map to theorize what might happen to them, it’s not just that this detracts from their identity as their own characters; the story itself isn’t even using that map!
I mean speaking personally, that’s what has always made RWBY theory-crafting FUN. Trying to guess how the writers might twist and flip the allusions they’re using. But that also means that the allusions of the various characters simply DON’T actually provide ANY kind of accurate ‘road-map’ for where they might be going. Instead, the best we can do is use what the actual show has actually shown us to get any kind of idea where the characters are headed.
Ultimately, I feel like too often I see that when people are making theories about RWBY characters, they are treating them more like the characters they are based on, instead of the characters they actually ARE.

Sonic with baby Shadow! Finally writing something for this!!
Chaotic Reaction - Part 1: A Little Stuck
Hands cupped around a small, fragile package as he keeps it close to his chest in an effort to protect it. He hurriedly rushes through a deep, swampy forest he’s not the most familiar with. Shoes soaked and slipping in the muddiest puddles as rain pours down all around.
He wasn’t even sure where he was heading anymore, under all these thick, slumped trees. And even that doesn’t change that rain still manages to coat him all over, leaving him dripping wet as he continues to scramble away with something needing protecting.
He was covered in small aches and pains from the battle he’d just managed to escape, although, barely as he still runs from the shrieking engine of his mechanical copy, and his many other clone brothers –er- whatever they’re called. Being hunted through this wretched weather fog was not on his day-plan.
Seeing a nice cover under a short, stubby tree hanging over–his quick feet slip not so graciously a few times as he attempts to turn in the tree's direction. One of his hands had to pull free of protecting his package in order to catch himself briefly so he could book-it for the tree.
His free hand swats the large, hanging leaves of the drooping tree, out of his way before he dives towards the trunk, where the ground’s layered in a puddle, like everywhere else. The leaf slides back down, shadowing the hedgehog in its protection as speeding blurs zip by, almost endlessly.
He carefully curls around himself, subconsciously trying to shield what he holds, as his eyes dart back and forth, zoning in on every single bot that speeds by, making sure they don’t catch notice of him in his last-minute hiding spot.
When the last one zips by, and the engines are no longer in range to be heard, he slumps in relief, finally exhaling to breathe properly. Only then, does he realize how protective he was acting towards his company, and he awkwardly clears his throat, opening his hands to reveal his little companion. A little black and red hedgehog, looking up at him with big, reflective ruby red eyes. Eyes that hold nothing but innocent curiosity, a childish curiosity that doesn’t belong on the face of his rival.
“Uh.. Shadow?” He voices, trying to be quiet in case the Metal Sonic’s weren’t too far off. “You’re.. Still in there, right?”
The little hedgehog just sits in the palms of his soaked hands, also a little wet, but doesn’t react in any way that would suggest he’d even spoken to the little guy.
With an overly stressed and frustrated groan, he pulls a hand free to brush back his own messed up quills, trying to ease the way they started to spike out in defense. His eyes, panickily glued to the little hog in his hand.
“Okay.. It’s fine.” He tries to ease, with a slight shake of his voice. “If I can just get a hold of Tails, he should be able to
ah.. Right.. Communicator was lost in the fight.” He thinks aloud, eyes now traveling down to his bare wrist, where a few deep cuts lie, a pinkish red, staining his fur where the rain washed at it.
“And Tails is halfway across the world, right now..” He adds with an uneasy sound. Shrunken, tired eyes, drift back to the mini hedgehog in his grasp, which has now lost interest in him, and is looking around the makeshift tree-tent they are currently sitting beneath.
Lips pulled tight, tension making him feel antsy, he watches the little hedgehog, unable to process much outside of: “We’re in trouble
”
A chill riding up his spine, finally draws his mind back into his body and–oh–does he feel the shiver that wracks him from the ice-cold mini-pool he’s sitting in, along with how soaked he already is, rain getting through his quills and fur as if he were in the ocean. Running helped keep his adrenaline going, it kept him warm, kept him busy. Now, he can feel the blistering chill of the wind blowing through the leaves, hitting his drenched self, and feeling as though it’s tearing straight through him. It felt about as cold as winter! The only–hardly–good thing about that, was the fact it numbed most of the injuries he’d sustained over the course of their battle with Metal Sonic and his army of twins.
A particularly sharp gust of wind blew through, and reflexively made him curl in on himself. Shivering against the thick trunk of the tree, he notices he’s not the only one getting affected by the extreme weather and lack of action. A faint trembling in his hand, had him look down to the tiny, curled ball in his palm, that is shivering up a storm of its own. A small, shaky, squeak sounding from the wet ball of fur.
Reacting on instincts and past experience–with a–not as young–fox–he immediately rips off his soaked gloves, dropping them in the pool of water as he cups his hands around the little hedgehog, trying to help warm him up again.
“Sorry, Shads..” His voice cuts a little from the cold. “If I could, I’d get a fire or something going, but-” Another gust of wind cuts his sentence off short, and he turns his back to it, curling more around the little hedgehog in his hands. “I don’t even see why I’m explaining this to you..” He shivers out. “You’re nowhere near old enough to understand this stuff right now. And even if you can understand, you’d already know from the obvious.”
Outside their little tent is barely lit from daylight trying to illuminate through the thick, gray clouds rolling in, leaving the inside of their natural tent, nearly pitch-black. As that does make their hiding spot safer from the mirror army of droids, it is also making running home right now a more dangerous option. Not being able to see his enemies coming, or where he’s going, especially with all this heavy rain. Tonight was going to be a trip

The occasional sounds of the robotic copies' engines whirring out with a speeding light not too far, suggests those machines were still on the hunt, and since water doesn’t seem to affect them, they’d likely be looking all night long if it came to it. Meaning, he’s going to need to move places soon. But that won’t be happening until he’s certain these copies are far enough away that he won’t draw any attention.
It was getting darker, and the rainwater on the ground was now reaching his ankles, and he can officially say his feet were numb. The rain had long since gotten through his shoes and filled them with water, soaking his socks, too, and as uncomfortable as it is, he’d also accepted the fact he’d have to deal with it, till he can get back to Tails’ lab.
With a shaky exhale, he leans forward, away from the trunk of the tree, checking outside their little tent for the fifth time since daylight died out. Leaving things next to pitch-black and making it to where the vaguest of shadows were his only indication that something was there. At least, until another Metal clone came flying back, leaving an orange glow in its wake.
The area seemed clear. He hasn’t seen, nor heard anything, though, that could be because of the lack of light, and the overwhelming splashing of the rain, along with the rumbling claps of thunder. Seeing or hearing anything right now, would be near impossible. But he hasn’t seen any bright glowing red eyes, or orange flaming engines flying around, so that should, hopefully, mean they’re in the clear. For now..
Unable to see in the dark, he brushes a thumb over the quilled ball in his cupped hands, trying to check on the little fluff ball, who’s no longer shivering. A rough vibration with a small gruff sound from the little hedgehog was enough of a warning to not do that again. Okay. He still doesn’t like being touched. Noted.
Unfortunately, though, in this situation, without the advantage of sight; Sonic needed a free hand to feel around for directions, so Shadow was going to have to deal with it. And so, he shifted the little quilled ball into one hand–earning another little growl at the movement–and held him against his chest to help with keeping the wind from him.
And with a free hand, he reaches down into the water feeling for where he’d discarded his gloves–not wishing to leave a trail–before he steps out of their little shield in hopes of finding better shelter for the night. At least, someplace much drier.
“You are so going to owe me after this.” He grumbles aloud. The thunder, so graciously covering it up. Though, I do really hope you don’t remember any of this after you’re back to normal.

I asked my self what would have happened in the heirs of the night universe if the academy never happened and if the clans just stayed for themselves. And if Alisa never had the spark and the Dracula problem didn't exist. So here are a few of my takes:
Alisa would either marry Malcolm (arranged marriage through Dame Elina and Sir Milton, because I think they would still be kind of friends) or she does it like her mother and marries Nicu as a human.
I think Calvina would still be a vampire hunter and probably would hunt Alisa down for "enchanting" and changing her son (Not sure if she would suceed or not)
If not Alisa and Nicu would have one or two children together, maybe one conceived when Nicu Was still human so the child would be like one quarter vampire
With Malcolm she would also have children but obviously they would be very much vampires
Maybe she would inherit the Vamalia ruby or as I like to think Dame Elina gives it to Tammo, because Alisa is already the wife of a leader and doesn't need one
The marriage with Malcolm is much more realistic I think because I don't think Dame Elina would welcome another human in her family
In the show I kind of got the vibe that marrying a human or shadow is somehow a shame and not something that is very accepted in the vampire community
But (unlike in the books) the clans are not very big, or at least there aren't that many bloodborns in the clans
So I think incest is the solution, which is very likely because of the source material/the books, where it's literally that way
So Lars and Fanny would be forced to marry each other (cousin marriage has happened a lot throughout history, so why would vampires do different?)
I say Fanny because Ragnar raised her so that she would do anything he said to her, Inger is not that shapeble
He would probably use her to gain Power once Lars, her husband, is the leader. Like he would get her to kill him in his sleep or something..
He could both succeed or not I leave this to your imagination
Anyway of course the new leaders, like the heirs' generation, would have to meet up sometime to discuss politics and stuff
And when the Dracas and Vyrad (Malcolm +Alisa in this case) meet each other the feelings of canon Show up
Fanny and Malcolm don't really give those romance/love vibe in canon but I think friends with benefits is pretty suiting for them tbh
So they have affairs (Alisa/Lars and Fanny/Malcolm) all of them are fine with it because no one of them loves their partner romantically. They are all much happier that way
But it stays that: Affairs and Meetings then and when but most of the time they live together with their partner and also get children together like it's expected of them (even though in one or two of the children you can see certain Features that don't really seem to resemble their supposed fathers)
But no one says anything because no one really cares (except Dame Elina, but she's old anyway)
I like to think that Tammo would follow his book Story line
Means: He meets a human girl, falls in love and changes her so that they can stay together
Seymour has his ruby, changes Ivy and when he's coming of age he finds a nice man to settle with
He knows he should bring his clan to New life but his heart tells him he doesn't want that
So he changes his lover and they live childless but happy
Ivy still becomes the Noaidi and moves into the Dracas village where she meets the love of her life, a blue eyed, blonde bloodborn girl
They are happy together
Maybe there is a Clarissa in this universe, a girl Luciano can fall in love with and make his wife
Or maybe Conte Claudio and Madame Audrey follow Dame Elina's and Sir Milton's path and bring their children together
No one knows, it's written in the stars
The heirs or now the leaders of the clans aren't that close as in the show but they don't hate each other either and there are no Clan wars ever again
Everyone is at least content with their situation
Some of them aren't that happy as they could have been but they are not miserable either

Weasel!Faunus Ruby
Yang: So, what's for dinner, Rubes?
Ruby: Leftovers!
Yang: Again?
Ruby: What's wrong with leftovers?
Yang: We've had leftovers everyday for the past week!
Ruby: It's too cold to go out right now!
Yang: Ruby, there's so many leftover boxes, I have to move them to get to the milk!
Fun Fact! Weasels are one of the few animals that "refrigerate" their food. In the winter, their nests have a hole near the entrance in which they store prey for later. One whole was said to be filled with about 150 lemmings!

Fisher Cat!Faunus Yang
Yang: Can't hit me, can ya?
Yang: I'm just dancin'! Whattaya gonna do?!
Yang: POW! Knock out!
Ruby: Yang! Your armlooks like a pincushion!
Yang: Huh? (Looks at arm, Needles all over) Meh. I'll walk it off.
Fun Fact! Fisher Cats are among the few animals that regularly hunt porcupines. Lions and other large predators often die from infection after fighting porcupines, but Fisher Cats manage to survive with minimal injuries by tiring out the porcupine.

Wolverine!Faunus Summer
Ozpin: Close the school.
Goodwitch: Sir, that's-
Ozpin: I SAID CLOSE THE SCHOOL!
Summer: Oh, Ozzie, it's already too late.
Ozpin: Oh no...
Summer: Now, how are my girls doing in their classes?
Fun Fact! Wolverines, despite their average 33lb size, are infamous for their tenacity and rage, and are willing to hunt down grizzly bear mothers and their cubs. When a wolverine had found it's way near a Yellowknife Middle School, the entire school was put on lockdown. Also, it should be noted that there is no escaping a wolverine in the tundra as they are too good at moving through snow to the point they leave little trace in their pawprints.

Giant River Otter!Faunus Raven
Raven: Take the chairs.
Raven: Take the tables.
Raven: Take the seat covers.
Raven: Take the door.
Raven: Take the wall.
Raven: Take the-
Fun Fact! Giant River Otters are the second most formidable predator in South America, after the Jaguar. Like their smaller cousins, they are pack hunters who live in packs up to nine otters, can grow up to six feet long, have paws wider than human hands, and regularly hunt anacondas and caimans, the former of which they bash against tree trunks. Also like their cousins, they will eat all parts of the animal.

River Otter!Faunus Qrow
Zwei: (Barking happily)
Taiyang: (Tosses stick) Go get it, boy! Qrow! Come on out and play with us!
Qrow: I'm not going near that son of a bitch!
Taiyang: Language, Qrow, and what did Zwei ever do to you?
Qrow: He knows what his kind did...
Fun Fact! In Anchorage, Alaska, there is a warning posted for locals and their dogs to use caution near bodies of water. A "gang" of river otters have been attacking children, adults, and especially dogs who come near the water. It is uncertain why, or even if they are the same animal each time, though it is likely due to a history shared between otters in the area and dogs.

Chapter Five: I Know What You Did Last Summer
Y/n’s POV:
We are in this dinky little bar trying to hustle some pool money. “What do you bench press like 125 your arms are so big” I hate being the distraction. “Don't you worry honey after I win all this money we can go on a date and I can show you in private” He said grabbing at my waist. I try not to punch him just for that. My brothers feel the same.”Brian, come on, man, just one more. Just -- just give me a chance to win it back.” Sam said acting drunk. “It's your cash.” Brain said very confidently, holding my waist tighter. “Excuse me. My brother's a little sauced to be making bets.” Dean said, adding to the lie. “He insisted.” I said trying to make Brian think I'm really into him.
“Yeah, but he’s already taken, what, two bills off him? I'm just saying.” Dean said. “Hey, shut up, Dean. I'm fine.” Sam said stumbling over his words. “No, you're not fine. You're drunk!” “Let's make it five hundred.” “Five hundred?” “Sure. After this baby I'll buy you anything you want.” Damn it got to make it convessing. “Hell yeah you will you got this!.” I said, kissing his cheek. Ew I'm going to have to boil my mouth with water after this. Sam puts the money on the table.
“Five hundred. Your break.” Brian said. I now grab his waist to bring him closer as Sam shoots and makes all balls go in and Brian looks back and looks disappointed. “Aww it's okay you'll get it next turn.” I said. Sam looks up at the bar and suddenly he drops the facade of being drunk. “Keep the money.” Huh? Then why am I getting feeled up by a stranger. “Keep the money? What –” Dean goes to follow Sam and I look and see Ruby and I try to follow but Brian has other plans. “Huh where are you going babe I just won the money.” little does he know we let him win. “Sorry Brian I see my friend over there but I'll talk to you later.” “What you a prude or something?’’ He said as he grabbed my arm back and I turned around to elbow him. He leans over coughing. “No I'm not, I'm just not into dudes who don't respect people.” I walk away leaving him crying on the ground. I walked over to them.
“You okay Y/n/n?” Sam and Dean asked. “Yeah, fine nothing I can't handle.” I looked over to Ruby. “Ruby, why am I seeing your face right now?” “Y/n always great to see you too girlfriend.” ‘’I just have some info, and then I'm gone.” She said acting a little more scared than usual. “What is it?” Sam asked with concern.”I'm hearing a few whispers.” “Ooh, great, demon whisperers -- that's reliable.” Dean said annoyed. “Girl named Anna Milton escaped from a locked ward yesterday. The demons seem pretty keen on finding her. Apparently, some real heavy hitters turned out for the Easter-egg hunt.” “Why? Who is she?” Sam questioned. “No idea. But I'm thinking that she's important, 'cause the order is to capture her alive. I just figured that whatever the deal is, you might want to find this girl before the demons do.” Damn it she's right.”Look, maybe we should check it out.” Sam said to us both. “Actually, we're working a case, but thanks.” Dean said .”What case?” Ruby said not believing us. “Uh, we've got leads, big leads.” “Sounds dangerous.” Ruby said with annoyance. “Yeah, well, it sure ain't goose-chasing after some chick who, for all we know, doesn't even exist, just because you say she's important.” “I'm just delivering the news. You can do whatever you want with it. Far as I'm concerned, I told you, I'm done.” She said as she got up to leave. I stopped her. “Wait, wait, wait. This hospital Anna escaped from -- it got a name?” She smiled at me. “Finally trust me little winchester.” “Not in a billion years Ruby but if a girl is really in trouble we have to help now name?”
========================================================================
The three of us are driving to the mental hospital. “Can I get a copy of the missing persons report? Great. Okay. Thanks.” Sam said as he got off the phone. “Well, Anna Milton's definitely real.” “Don't mean the case is real. And this hospital's a three-day drive.” “Look I get it Dean you don't like Ruby me too but if this girl is in trouble then we have to help.” I said to him.”Thank you Y/n.You got something to say, say it.” He said to Dean. “Oh, I'm saying it -- this sucks.” Dean responded. “You're not pissed we're going after the girl. You're pissed Ruby threw us the tip.” “Right. 'Cause as far as you're concerned, the hell-bitch is practically family. Yeah, boy, something major must've happened while I downstairs, 'cause I come back, and -- and you're BFF with a demon?” Things are starting to get intense.”I told you, Dean, she helped me go after Lilith.” “Well, thanks for the thumbnail -- real vivid. You want to fill in a little detail?” “Sure, Dean, let's trade stories. You first. How was Hell? Don't spare the details.” Damn. The thing is I want to know both sides but my brothers suck at sharing so.
========================================================================
“Of course I want to help however I can.” The psychologist said. “Now, the orderly has no recollection of Anna's escape?” I asked her. “Apparently, she knocked him unconscious. The blow caused some amnesia. He doesn't even remember coming into her room.” Huh right. “That's a hell of a right hook to knock out a guy that's got 80 pounds on her.” Dean said. “We think she may have planned this, waited behind the door.” “Right. Uh, you mentioned Anna's illness was recent.” I said carefully.”Two months ago, she was happy, well-adjusted, journalism major, lots of friends -- Bright future.” That really is sad. “So, what happened -- she just... flipped?” Dean asked. “Well, that's the tragedy of schizophrenia. Within weeks, Anna was overtaken by delusions.” “What kind of delusions?” I asked. “She thought demons were everywhere.” she said, handing me Anna’s sketch book. “Interesting.”
“It's not uncommon for our patients to believe that monsters are real.” “Well, that -- that's just batty.” Dean commonted. I turn the page and we see some meaningful sketches and the text 'Raising of the Witnesses' and in the next page 'Samhain the next seal is broken'. “That's Revelations.” I said starting to put two and two together. “Since when does the Book of Revelations have jack-o'-lanterns?” She asked which was valid. “It's a, uh, it's a little-known translation.” Dean said trying to make this seem normal. “Well, Anna's father was a church deacon. When she became ill, her paranoia took on religious overtones. She was convinced the devil was about to rise up and end the world. I hope you find her. It's dangerous for her to be out there alone right now.” She said, I hope we do too. She must be so confused right now.
========================================================================
We walk Up to Anna’s parents house in search of talking to her dad. “Maybe they're not home.” Dean said after he knocked and no one came.”Both cars in the driveway.” Sam said, looking around. Dean tries and the door opens, that's not a good sign. “Mr. And Mrs. Milton?” Dean called out. “We're from the sheriff's department. We just wanted to ask you a couple of questions.” I said out loud and then I looked down at a horrible scene. Anna's parents both dead with their throats cut. I bend and spot the yellow powder. “Sulfur. The demons beat us here. Whatever the deal is with this Anna girl –” Sam said confused as to what was going on.
“Yeah, they want her. They're not screwing around. All right, so, I'm "Girl, Interrupted, and I know the score of the apocalypse, just busted out of the nut-box... Possibly using superpowers, by the way. Where do I go?” Dean said, picking up envelopes. I look at the pictures and see one with Anna and her parents in front of the church. “Hey, you got those sketches from Anna's notebook?” I said looking. “Let me see 'em. Check this out. “ I said pointing out the drawing and the window in the picture.”She was drawing the window of her church.” “Over and over. If you were religious, scared, and had demons on your ass, where would you go to feel safe?” “I would do the same.” I said to be honest.
========================================================================
We enter the church calling Anna's name and going up to the attic. “Guys,” Sam said, getting our attention.” Anna? We're not gonna hurt you. We're here to help. My name is Y/n. These are my brothers, Dean and Sam.” I said approaching carefully. “Sam? Not Sam Winchester?” “And you're Dean. The Dean?” “Then Y/n” She knows our names? “Well, yeah. The Dean, I guess.” Dean said proudly. “It's really you. Oh, my god. The angels talk about you. You were in Hell, but Castiel pulled you out, and some of them think you can help save us. And some of them don't like you at all. They talk about you all the time lately. I feel like I know you. And you Y/n they don't really like you.” “Yeah well that tracks” I said shrugging my shoulders. “So, you talk to angels?” Dean questioned. “Oh, no. No, no way. Um, they probably don't even know I exist. I just kind of... overhear them.” “You overhear them?” “Yeah, they talk, and sometimes I just... hear them in my head.” “Like... right now?” I questioned. “Not right this second, but a lot. And I can't shut them out, there are so many of them.” “So, they lock you up with a case of the crazies when really you were just... tuning in to angel radio?” Dean said. “Yes. Thank you.” “Anna, when did the voices start? Do you remember?” “I can tell you exactly -- September 18th.” The day Dean came back. “The day I got out of Hell.” Dean said, looking at us both. “First words I heard, clear as a bell -- "Dean Winchester is saved."” “What do you guys think?” Dean asked us. “It's above my pay grade, man.” Sam said. “Whatever this is, I have a feeling that it's not good.” I said. “Well, at least now we know why the demons want you so bad. They get a hold of you, they can hear everything the other side's cooking. You're a 1-900-angel.” Dean said to her with a little bit of a flirt in his voice. She seemed like she liked it. “Hey, um, do you know -- are my parents okay? I -- I didn't go home. I was afraid.” Damn I forgot about that, sorry Anna. I'm about to tell her when Ruby walks in. “You got the girl. Good, let's go.” She said in a rush. “Her face!”
Anna said with fear. “Ha I know right.” I said, Ruby probably would have hit me if she could. “It's okay. She's here to help.” Sam said, trying to calm Anna. “Yeah, don't be so sure.” Dean said with disgust. “We have to hurry.” “Why?” I questioned. “Because a demon's coming -- big-timer. We can fight later,Y/n.” “Well, that's pretty convenient -- showing up right when we find the girl with some bigwig on your tail?” Dean said not believing Ruby. “I didn't bring him here. You did.”  “what?” I questioned. “He followed you from the girl's house. We got to go now.” We start to move but I look over to the praying Mary statue that is now crying blood. I'm guessing that's not a good sign. “Guys” I said, stopping them. “It's too late. He's here.” Ruby said fearfully. Sam took Anna into the closet. Then Sam brought out a flask of holy water. “No, Sam, you got to pull him right away.” Ruby said, pushing him to use his powers. “Oh Hell no just wait a sec.” I said not liking this. “Now's not the time to bellyache about Sam going darkside. He does his thing, he exorcises that demon, or we die.” He puts the flask away. Then the demon comes bursting in. Sam tries to use his power but it does not work. “That tickles. You don't have the juice to take me on, Sam.”  The demon throws Sam down on the stairs. Dean goes to attack him with knife but that didn't work either. “Hello again, Dean. Come on, Dean. Don't you recognize me? Oh, I forgot -- I'm wearing a pediatrician. But we were so close... in Hell.” What is he talking about? “Alastair.” Dean said to I guess Alastair with such disdain. Alastair has him pinned against the wall. I go to grab the knife and stab him in the shoulder. “And little Y/n Winchester you know I have always wanted a taste of you. wondering how you squeal when I skin you. If you are as loud as your brother.” He then took out the knife as I looked with horror. “Sorry girly you're gonna have to try a whole lot harder than that.” The three of us looked to the big window all thinking the same thing as we jumped out.
========================================================================
“Are you almost done?” Dean asked in pain from the bathroom as I was sewing Sam’s cut up. Somehow I was not that damaged compared to my brothers. Maybe one of them grabbed me in the fall and I just didn't notice it. All I got was cut from the glass, the worst being on my leg leaving me with a bit of a limp and a couple stitches. “I'm going as fast as I can.” I said, focusing in front of me. “Good, 'cause you know I got a dislocated shoulder over here.” He said walking over to us. Drinking from a whiskey bottle. “I will put it back as soon as I'm done.” Good thing I learned a lot of first aid from the internet and some classes. I also got a lot of practice from when Dean first started to hunt by himself. “Gimme that.” I said as I gestured to the bottle pouring it over the cut. I cringed when Sam made the pained whine. I really got to get a real first aid kit. “So, you lost the magic knife, huh?” Dean said to me as I finished. “Yeah, saving your ass. Who the hell was that demon?” “No one good. We got to find Anna.” Dean said. “Ruby's got her. I'm sure she's okay.” Sam said as he stood next us and me getting ready to set his shoulder back. “All right. Come on. On three. One
” I set his shoulder on one.
“You sure about Ruby? 'Cause I think it's just as likely she used us to find radio girl and then brought that demon in to kill us.” Dean questioned and I was wondering the same thing. “No, she took Anna to keep her safe.” Sam was so sure. “Yeah. Well, why hasn't she called to tell us where she is?” I asked. “Because that demon is probably watching us right now, waiting to follow us right back to Anna again. That's why he let us go.” “You call this letting us go?” “Yeah, I do. Look, killing us would've been no problem to that thing. That's why, for now, we just got to lay low and wait for Ruby to contact us.” “ Sam just be honest why do you trust a demon so much.” I said trying to keep it civil. “I told you.” He said kind of looking down. Yeah there is definitely more to this story. “You got to do better than that. Hey, and we're not trying to pick a fight here. We mean, we really want to understand. But I need to know more. We mean, we deserve to know more.” Dean said, talking for both of us. “Because... she saved my life.”
========================================================================
“Ruby came back for me. Whatever you have to say, she saved me. More than that, she got through to me. What she said to me... It's what you would've said. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be here.” I was so pissed and grossed out at the same time. “Sam, why didn't you tell me?’ I said, trying to hold myself back. “I knew you would try to help me as soon as I called. I didn't want to put you in more danger. Also Ruby thought you could get in the way.” I don't think about those other things, just the last line. “What the hell is that supposed to mean?’’ “Ruby said you distract me because I would just worry about you.” Sam said, looking away. “So you trusted a demon over your own sister okay. And I am just as capable of hunting as you and Dean if you guys haven't forgotten I went through the same things as you so stop treating that I'm gonna shoot my eye out every time I pick up my damn gun.”  I said looking at them both. Then there was a knock at the door. “Housekeeping.” “Not Now!” I yelled. I felt bad for yelling but at the same time I didn't.” “Mam, I've got clean towels.” I open the door to tell her no again but she just enters. “Couldn't you just leave 'em at the door?” “I'm at this address.” The maid handed a piece of scrap paper to Sam. “I'm sorry. What?” We were all confused. “Go now. Go through the bathroom window, don't stop, don't take your car, don't pass go. There are demons in the hallway and in the parking lot.” Huh? “Ruby?” OH RUBY. “Okay, yes, so I'm possessing this maid for a hot minute. Sue me.” Oh I'm about to nuclearize this black eyed bitch. “What about –” Sam asked. “Coma girl? Slowly rotting on the floor back at the cabin with Anna, so I've got to hurry back. See you when you get there. Go!”
========================================================================
As we walk up to the cabin Ruby is waiting for us. “Glad you could make it.” She said to us. “Yeah, thanks.” When Sam finished I punched Ruby square in the face. “OW what the Hell!” She said as she was holding her head back.“Y/n!” Sam and Dean said surprised as well. ”That was for telling my brother that I would distract him and that I can't hunt. “ Anna was confused as well. “Does this usually happen?” “Oh you mean my brother choosing a freaking demon over his sister. No but there is a first time for everything.  Are you doing okay Anna.?” I finished my sentence with a smile. “Yeah. I think so. Ruby's-  not like other demons. - She saved my life.” She answered hesitantly after hearing what she did. I looked over at ruby who was holding her nose that was now bleeding. “It's okay Anna, I'm happy she's treating someone with respect.” “Yeah, I hear she does that. I guess I... You know.”  Dean said looking at her and I. “What?” Ruby, who was still holding her nose, answered. “I guess I owe you for... Sam. And I just wanted... you know
” “Don't strain yourself.” “Okay, then. Is the moment over? Good, 'cause that was awkward.” Anna looks back at me.
“Hey, Y/n, you think it'd be safe to make a quick call, just to tell my parents I'm okay? They must be completely freaked.” Oh no I completely forgot about that. “Anna, look your parents, we found them.” “No, they're not
” She is starting to cry now. “Anna, I'm sorry.” “Why is this happening to me?” “I don't know.” Then the walls start to shake a lot. “They're coming.” She said with fear. “Back room.” Dean took Anna to the room. “Where's the knife?” Ruby asked us. “Uh... about that
” “You're kidding.” “Hey, don't look at me.” “Thanks a lot.” I said. “Great. Just peachy. Impeccable timing, guys, really.” “Don't make me punch you again.!” I screamed at her over the loud banging of the walls and the front door bursting open.
Cas and my favorite angel entered. “Please tell me you're here to help. We've been having demon issues all day.” I asked them. “Well, I can see that. You want to explain why you have that stain in the room?” “Wow Uriel you and I actually agree on something.” I said looking back at Ruby. “We're here for Anna.” Cas said. “Here for her like... here for her?” Dean asked. What is going on? “Stop talking. Give her to us.” Uriel said in a demanding voice. “Are you gonna help her?” I asked. “No, she has to die.” Cas said in his serious voice. Of course she does, it would not be our lives if he didn't say that.

Note
I know you have written much on Falmer (honestly love it all, Sarel is <3 <3 <3 <3) but I would honestly love to see you write something on the other two hugely mistreated and 'animalized' races of TES; the Goblin and the Minotaur. Like, gosh. Could say so much about both. We've got goblins, who TWICE that we know of have formed agrarian societies and then been crushed, who helped build atleast two Orsiniums, who have complex religious rites all their own... and then are regularly hunted as pests by the fighter's guild, enslaved, all around treated like monsters. And on the other side there's Minotaurs, the divine blooded folk who helped found the dang empire before being driven off by religious zealots. Who, by all rights, held a better claim to the Ruby Throne than ANY claimant post Belharza's death, as only they can claim heritage back to Alessia. And by late 3rd era? Again, hunted for sport and most damningly in my eyes... captured and dragged off to the Imperial City arena to fight for the amusement of citizens who would proudly declare they have outlawed slavery with one hand while doing *that* with the other. IDK, think about those two often and would just love to see writing of yours on it if you ever have any interest in it!
Your passion is INFECTIOUS. And you're so right. I've definitely had Thoughts about the TES Goblins before.
I've already got so many stories zipping around in my head that I may never get a chance to write, but I can only encourage you to take pen to paper! It may be intimidating at first, but start small. Maybe you have an OC who's writing an impassioned pamphlet on Goblin rights. Or loudly condemning the Arena practices to anyone who will listen, nailing their own proverbial 99 theses to the door. Maybe said OC has gotten to know one of the Minotaur, perhaps fallen in love. 👀 And is tirelessly working to free them before they're killed in the Arena. (Sorry, we should all know by now that I'm a hopeless romantic kind of monsterfucker).
The possibilities are endless! But don't wait for me to write it. ;)

"Prey or kin?"
So... This is my first attempt to write about others Farmer OCs. And I decided to write the first story about OC Nina, owned by @girls4zelda! The story is a bit short and maybe not very good, but I thought it was worth starting at least. Yep...
It's that time again....
The very time when she should run faster than the wind, into the dense forest. Away from Pelican Town, away from people. As far away as she can get, even farther than her forest cabin where she lives, into the dark woods. Nina can't afford to delay, she can already hear the call.... She can feel her fangs erupting, she can feel the thick, stiff fur on her once pale skin, her thoughts jumbling together, her ancient blood awakening.
A full silver moon adorns the clear night sky.
It is hunting time.
Scary, incomprehensible sounds, her own scream - not a scream, but a howl that pierced to the bone - that filled the dense forest. Nina was used to them by now; every full moon she had to go through it as if it were the first time. As if for the first time, all her senses sharpen to the absolute, as if for the first time she could feel her fellow lesser creatures not far from her and greet her with a long howl, for they know - this is their own, this is a member of the pack. How she again, as for the first time, feels clearly where the rabbits has run, delicious snacks, how she has already feel the tender fresh meat of a caught deer or elk in her mouth, how her pack is eating with her after great catch, how they run together again, free and unstoppable, driven by the Hunt.
How she felt that she was not alone now....
The stranger stood ten meters away from her. Too many conflicting emotions came over Nina. Her wild desire for a bloody hunt screamed that she had a good prey before her. Young, fresh, begging for her mouth. Her instinct screamed that it might be someone who would reverse the roles, that Nina herself would be the prey. For the stranger exuded the scent of steel, but not fear.
And yet, her mind, still human mind, already wanted to howl for the fool to flee, to run, to save their own life. Nina could control herself in wolf form, but not completely on a full moon...
Before Nina could do anything, the stranger took a couple steps forward, unhurried, cautious, but without a hint of terror or fear. Nina can hear the stranger's heart beating, it was steady and calm, and it was this fact that made her heart beat harder.
One more cautious step and Nina met him with a growl, a warning that one more step and blood would spill onto the dark grass.
The bright moon illuminated the young man's face with silver rays as soon as he stepped out from under the shade of the tall oaks. Nina's ruby eyes, red as blood, glared at another pair of gems: the right one was pure emerald, and the left one was blue like cold ice, with the colour exactly like the moonlight itself. And again, there was no fear in his eyes, only wonder, and even... curiosity.
Nina was struck by the fact that this young man was the same farmer's boy who had tripped over a stone a couple of days ago and dropped a basket of apples. Nina helped the slightly clumsy yellow-haired young man, and he gave her some of the most beautiful apples and smiled warmly in gratitude. Julian was his name, if she remember right... That image of a sweet and kind young man didn't fit with the man standing before her now.
The beast sees the hilt of sword behind his back, and she growls even more fiercely. She doesn't want to hurt him, only to scare him away, to make him run away, away from anyone who could hurt him.
From surprise, she, standing on four paws, backed up a little. Nina doesn't sense her kin in him, the blood of the Ancients doesn't flow in him. No, something else. Different...
Why then... he's got a kind of wolfish look in his eyes?
"I know this isn't a good time for conversation...", His voice spoke slowly but confidently, trying not to scare Nina even more, "Just know that I'm not your enemy".
A mist, imperceptible to human eyes, slightly shrouded the stranger, but Nina's sharp ruby eyes saw everything. The Deer, her usual prey in hunting, and the Wolf, her kin, twisted and weaved around the young man in an endless dance. They were watching her. Waiting, but what are they waiting for?
He smells like prey. At the same time, she feels like she's looking at her kin. He...
Who is he?
For all her life, this acquaintance definitely became the most unusual for Nina.

Supernatural, Ep. 4x02
Are You There, God? It's Me, Dean Winchester
no, god is not there. but cas is!
i'd say this episode is just okay, but i liked it so much better than episodes that were 'just okay' in season three. so, this episode is just okay, but know that the scale has changed since last season. this wasn't groundbreaking. i don't feel the need to start singing praises, but i will say that i liked this episode.
i like consequences. not just the buffy episode, though that is a good ep. but, in my media, i like when characters have to face the consequences of their actions, when mistakes that they've made come back to haunt them. that's my problem with most sitcoms and many star trek shows: at the end of the episode, we forget about the events. but every action has an equal and opposite reaction: a law of physics that everyone uses incorrectly, and that i am going to use incorrectly right now. so much of television ignores this, and let's be honest, supernatural has already done more than its fair share.
but let's enjoy this slice of a world where people are faced with their past actions. let's enjoy this slice of a show where characters act and the world reacts. let's enjoy some consequences, finally.
first off, henriksen. he has some decent points with sam. it's true that lilith was hunting for sam, and the brothers left innocent people in the firing line. however, henriksen does not advocate for having sacrificed nancy. he wouldn't anyway, given his objections at the time. however, i don't think his accusations are entirely fair. as far as we know, nancy and the cop didn't tell the brothers that a demon got away, so they had no way to know that lilith would be back. additionally, what would their presence at the scene have accomplished? lilith wouldn't have spared the innocents. she's not that kind of gal. henriksen would still be dead, and it's likely that sam would be too. i understand that the ghosts comments are not meant to be an accurate reflection of events, but the brothers do not defend themselves. it's just another pound of guilt for their psyches, rather than an examination of their past actions. and henriksen's reveals to dean are just that. yes, they're horrific, but they don't bring the viewer or dean to a different understanding of the brothers' actions.
meg, on the other hand... the human meg masters has legitimate grievances, and very good points. yes, the winchesters threw her out a window when they could have, and should have, done an exorcism. if they had exorcised her, the demon would have gone to hell and prevented a lot of the events of the following season. additionally, the brothers have a habit of treating possessed people as already dead. in general, they seem to operate from a position of believing the 'meat suit' is dead. saving a possessed person is always a bonus, an unexpected boon. in general, only those familiar to the brothers can reliably expect an exorcism rather than a killing. at the tail end of season three, they were killing possessed humans left, right, and center. meg's ghost is an exhortation to remember the people caught up in the fight. she did not choose to be possessed, and she certainly didn't choose to die. (on second thought, i don't totally remember why she went out the window, since i watched this episode in 2021. however, the point still stands in general.)
all the other ghosts have valid points, but they are more aggregate than specific. other small moments: ruby's fear amuses me, and sam's confusion about it amuses me much more. she's a demon, dumbass. bobby's panic room is amazing, in the sense that it's an incredibly paranoid thing to do and i am in awe of it.
now, to my guys: i didn't have any particular thoughts about sam except his confusion about ruby. like, he's there? good for him?
dean, once again, does not think he deserves to be saved. and henriksen's ghost pours salt in that gaping wound. by his own words, he's Just Some Guy. he didn't ask to be saved. he didn't ask to be chosen (is this reminding anyone else of an approximately five foot four blonde girl?). but, chosen he was. dean struggles to understand his position, struggles to understand why he is above again. in this episode, he makes no significant progress. his exhortation of god, though, oh baby that's good. dean doesn't believe in god because god has not yet showed that he is worthy of belief. it's less a matter of disbelief than discernment. dean would rather believe in a cruel, heartless world where bad things happen purely by chance than believe that an intelligent creator could be so neglectful. which is particularly interesting, given his history with neglectful creators. (fuck you, **** **********)
and now let's talk about cas! he's my little guy, his hair is so fluffy, he will just stand and stare at people while they sleep. you could cut the tension in this scene with a knife. i'm really trying to hold back the rather sizable part of my brain that thinks that these two are in love and have been in love the whole time. but, it's just so hard when their scenes are thrumming with tension. it's heartbeat felt through the jugular levels of tension here. there was no need for them to be talking in the kitchen in the middle of the night, incredibly close to one another, intermittently looking at a space i would describe as the other's lips. there was no need. and cas has told us the main plot of the season, which feels a little early to me, a girl who never expects a main plot to ramp up until episode seven of a twenty-two episode season. not because of a certain show or anything... no, definitely not. anyways, now that he's spoiled the plot early, talked about angels dying, and threatened dean (do not believe this threat, dean. he went to an immense amount of trouble to get you out of hell. it would be a waste of man-hours to return you to the pit), cas just flits right off. bye bye love / bye bye happiness / hello loneliness / i think i'm gonna cry / bye bye love / bye bye sweet caress / hello emptiness / i feel like i could die / bye bye my love goodbye

Chapter 11 - DIOCH
Jin brought them all with his teleportation to another planet, Riviera. Since their ship had been destroyed with those green orcs. He couldn’t think of any other places, since they had to escape Moa in a hurry, he just brought them here. It’s his favorite place whenever he wanted to be alone, this place was his number one destination.
Riviera, It's an uninhabited planet with beautiful land, a clean river and waterfall, and beautiful forest.
“We have to take a new ship, because definitely I couldn’t go to Dopere by teleportation. I never go there.” Jin said to his friends who were sitting, circling around him, facing the bonfire J-hope made.
Namjoon had discovered a new clue from the new weapon they found, the lightning bow that had blue ruby belonged to Dopere. Namjoon was so sure their next destination should be Dopere. Though he still couldn’t figure out where Louis might hide the next weapon. They decided to just visit the place where namjoon found the louis skeleton.
“We could take the new ship from Jackson, He has so many ships ready.” Namjoon said. All eyes turned to him.
“I’ve visited their planet once, so I could go there by teleportation.” Jin replied.
“Right, the problem is their rule for outsiders. We couldn’t go there with this number of people. We have to split for a while.” Namjoon said again.
They all nodded.
“I think it’s best if the ones who should go are the ones who could operate the ship. So, it should be Yoongi, Hoseok and of course me.” Jin suggested. Suga and Hoseok just nodded, and didn't even disagree the slightest bit.
“Jackson is my friend so I should go there too.” Namjoon stated, deep inside he was worried about leaving Leah here. But as a leader he must be responsible to his team.
There's guilt creeping out his heart once he glanced at Leah who was quietly listening to their conversation, he took a deep sigh.
It’s for the best.
********************************
Jin, Hoseok, Namjoon and Yoongi have left. Leaving the rest of Bangtan members, Leah and Eunseo.
The men already built a camp from tree branches and dried leaves. Taehyung was hunting for more woods, while Jimin was hunting for food with Jungkook, leaving Leah and Eunseo alone in the camp.
They were preparing the branch near the bonfire. They were too focused to even talk.
"I've been wanting to ask you this question since so long.. " Leah started, breaking the silence.
"Are you and Taehyung a thing?"
It made Eunseo cough.
Leah laughed. "Does it mean yes?"
Eunseo only smiled awkwardly. She didn't know how to answer that.
To put it simple she only nodded. She could see Leah smiled, it made her even more shy.
"Since when?"
Eunseo wants to answer “ever since years ago” but how could she say that? It’s just she’s not ready to tell anyone about her past with Taehyung. Especially not with the woman who has her previous face.
"I don’t know. It’s just happened..” She finally answered simply.
"Did he confess to you?" Leah got curious, she really wanted to know what made her like him in this short period of time.
Now that she mentioned, Eunseo remembered he never said it, those three words after she remembered all those past.
"Yeah, he did." In the past.
"It seems you love each other so much. I see the way he looked at you and put you first in every situation. That's good you're not hurting here but happy." Leah smiled, she’s happy that Eunseo didn’t even experience any pain like she imagined.
“Yeah, they never hurt me, but treat me like a family..” Eunseo agreed.
“That’s good.” Leah smiled, eyes now back to the bonfire before them, she started to put more woods into the fire.
Eunseo felt all her regrets coming back as she saw how pure and full concern her queen eyes were. She’s really a good person and yet she ever felt so jealous of her, days before.
She cleared her throat and whispered. “Thank you for coming here My queen, Thanks for worrying about me. You are a Queen yet you risk your position by coming here just to make sure I’m okay.” She glanced at the queen who already set her eyes at her.
“I’m really thankful..” Eunseo continued.
“And I’m so sorry for making you come here..” and for having such bad thoughts before. She mumbled but of course Leah couldn’t hear it.
“Why are you apologizing?” Leah chuckled before continuing.
“Eunseo, I always consider you as my friend, of course I will come to save you..”
Eunseo smiled at her answer.
They talked and talked about everything, about the people on the Moon, and so much more. Eunseo never had such a deep talk with her queen before because even though they were close, there’s always that line that separates them from making them closer. And now they’re having to talk about the queen’s life that she never heard before, it makes that thin line totally disappear.
"I'll go to the river for a while. I need to wash my face. I felt so tired. I'll be back in minutes." Leah suddenly stood up, wiping off the dirt on her bum as she stood up.
"I'm coming with you." Eunseo eagerly stands up, needs to get some fresh air too and of course the main reason is to accompany her queen.
"No, it's okay. I can go by myself." Leah answered as she knew Eunseo just wanted to guard her.
"I need to freshen up too." She argued.
Leah sighed and just nodded and then they took their weapons and started walking to the river.
Once they arrived at the river.
Leah quickly washed her face as well as Eunseo. Leah put her bag of arrows on the river side. She also pulled out her hairpin and put it on the rock beside her to wash her long hair.
"I feel fresh. This water is so cold."
When she was about to stand up, she saw her hairpin fall into the river.
"Oh No. My hairpin." Leah was about to reach the hairpain but the water only dragged it further.
"I'll take it for you.."
"No, Eunseo, it's okay." But it's too late, Eunseo already jumped into the water and swam to take the hairpin.
"Eunseo, Just leave it. Go back here.” Leah screamed and tried to reach her with her hand. But she swam only further.
"I almost get it." She managed to say as she kept swimming.
Once she grabbed it. She swam back at Leah who was worriedly waiting for her in the riverside. She helped her to get out of the water. Eunseo felt sharp pain on her right leg as she bumped into a rock in the water, it felt stinging. She’s biting her lips, trying not to groan in pain.
"Are you okay?” Leah worriedly asked as she gave her jacket to cover her drench clothes. Eunseo only nodded.
“Why did you jump just like that? It's only a hairpin. What if something dangerous is waiting for you in the water?" Leah scolded her as soon as she made sure Eunseo was covered in her dried jacket.
"I'm sorry. It's your hairpin.." Eunseo handed her a hairpin.
Leah took the hairpin. “Thank you for this but jumping into the water is not necessary."
Eunseo only nodded and smiled, she tried to ignore sharp pain on her leg.
"Listen to me, you don't have to treat me like your queen here. I told you I always consider you as a friend. And here no formality needed so just treat me like your friend and don't risk your life for something unuseful." Leah sternly said as if she’s scolding her kid.
"Yes, Quee.."
"And don't call me Queen. Just call me by my name. Call me leah."
Eunseo nodded.
"I'm sorry.. I won’t do it again."
Leah sighed and took her hand. "I just worried for you. I'm not mad at you. Now let’s go before you freeze to death.”
Meanwhile Taehyung was coming back to their camp and saw Jimin and Jungkook was cutting the fruit and mushrooms they found. When he saw there's no Eunseo in sight. His heart triumphs in alert.
"Where's Eunseo?"
Jimin and Jungkook quickly widened their eyes.
"We thought they were with you."
"No.. Shit." He quickly threw the wood on the ground and turned back into the forest.
Only a few minutes into the forest. He bumped into Eunseo and Leah. What caught him first was how soaked she was. And Leah's jacket was wrapped around her petite body.
"Why are you soaking wet?"
He frowned at Leah who didn't wet even slightest on her clothes, far different from Eunseo who was drenched, as if she just fell into the water.
Eunseo was hesitant to answer and So Leah beat her.
"She jumped into the water to take my thing that fell into the river." She said in a soft tone, feeling bad.
"Huh?" He frowned even more. "Did you ask her to do it?" He didn’t realize that he clenched his fist already, it made Leah frowned, yet she understood why he took it that way.
"No, Tae I did it on my own." Eunseo quickly defended her, putting her hand on his chest to calm him down, she knew he’s getting mad.
Eunseo was looking at Leah, asking her to leave them alone.
“I’m sorry.” She whispered once she saw Leah disappear from their sight.
Taehyung only sighed, his anger subside at her guilty look. He took off his jacket and put it on her body. Double jacket wrapped on her petite body.
“Why are you keeping risking your life for her? She’s not your queen. Not here.”
Taehyung remembers how many times she’s always put her queen first.
First, when Jin was about to land on their ship, Eunseo was giving her seat for Leah, because no seat left and so Taehyung would pull Eunseo on his lap instead and hold her tight when they had a harsh landing.
Second, When they’re landing on Moa and ready to separate for their missions. Eunseo was about to give Leah her bulletproof jacket. If only Taehyung wasn’t there and gave Leah a threatening look, she might have given her and went without her safety jacket.
And third, when Namjoon pulled out the lighting bow, she tried to shield Leah from any danger. What if something really wanted to hit her queen, did she really take the hit for her?
And now this, Taehyung didn’t know exactly what the thing was that she managed to take it from the river. Is it really important that she needs to jump into the water?
Taehyung didn’t like any idea that his woman would be hurt. He’s trying so hard to protect her from any danger, but the one he tried to protect is so careless only making it harder.
“Please don’t do this again, I want to protect you yet you’re so careless about taking care of yourself.” He pushed her hair to put it behind her ear, caressing her cheeks, looking at her eyes softly.
“I’m sorry Tae, it’s just.. She's our queen.. So I should..” She replied by looking into his eyes. She couldn’t help but always protect and guard her spontaneously whenever she saw her queen in danger or need help even for a really small thing. She was always living that way.
“No, You shouldn’t. It’s her choice to come here. You didn’t have to protect her..”  Taehyung frowned, getting annoyed with her answer.
“She came to save me.” Eunseo held his hand on her face, sweetly caressing it to calm him down.
“And so you have to pay her with your life?” He regained his calmness due to her sweet touch.
“No, it’s just she’s always been kind to me.”
He sighed hearing her answer and pulled her into his embrace which she accepted in seconds.
“Why are you so stubborn?” He whispered, putting his chin on her head, closing his eyes.
“I’m sorry, I can’t promise that I won’t save her. But I’ll promise you I’ll be carefull.”
Taehyung pulled out from their warm hug to cup her face and look into her eyes.
“Fine, next time just tell me whenever you want to leave. And whenever dangers come, always stay by my side. Promise?”
“Promise.” She smiled.
“So tell me what exactly happened? Why are you soaking wet?”
“I’ll jump into the river to take my queen’s hairpin.”
Once this sentence left her mouth, she gulped seeing Taehyung's scary look. “Are you kidding me?”
************************************
He was holding his breath, gaining all his power to attack the devil woman before him who was laughing like a maniac. They were fighting with all their power, pulling out all their strength to win.
He finally succeeded to push all his power to the woman, make her stumble and throw her over the tree. Her body hit the tree and this time he quickly moved to her, putting his blade on her neck. It only made the woman laugh even more.
"Kill me. Kill me. My precious dioch. But it doesn't mean your precious princess will be fine."
Taehyung pressed the blade to her neck to make it slice her neck a bit, and she only smugly continued.
"My lord Dominus would kill her for me. He will for sure.." She laughed like a maniac.
"You don't deserve to be happy.. she will die." She continued laughing, mocking him with her disgusting smirk.
And this moment he pressed the blade and cut her neck, killing her.
But the voice kept ringing in his head.
She will die
She will die
She will die
It made him tremble and drop his bloody blade on the ground.
"No.."  The voice kept ringing.
"No.." He covers his ears in tremble. But it won't stop.
She will die
She will die
"NOOOOOOO!!"
He opened his eyes, only to realize it was just a dream. He had a bullet of sweat and his breathing was raked. He took a deep breath to calm down and turned to see Eunseo on his side but only to find it's empty.
He quickly sat up in panic but as soon as his eyes found Eunseo sitting, facing the bonfire. He could breathe in relief. His fast heartbeat turned to calm.
He slowly approached her, from a short distance he could see Eunseo was putting her hand over the bonfire.
Slowly he took a step more and put his arm over her shoulder, back hugging her, giving her warmth.
"Why did you wake up so early?" He whispered on her neck, made her a little jolt in surprise but smiled in second once she knew it was Taehyung.
"Why aren't you sleeping?" She whispered back.
"Rude, I asked you a question and you dodge me with another question?"
Eunseo laughed.
"I don't know, I woke up and couldn't get to sleep again."  She shrugged before turning to him, looking at his soft gaze already set on her face.
"And why are you waking up?" She mumbled.
"Because I didn't find someone to cuddle with."
"Geez.. you're such a kid."
Taehyung laughed. He pulled away and moved to sit beside her.
"Are you cold?" He took her cold hand and brought it to his face. He blew on her hands playfully and rubbed it to warm it. Eunseo only lets him do whatever he childishly does.
He was softly rubbing her hands, making sure every inch of her skin was warm. Until the dream started to appear in his mind. He stopped, the voice started ringing in his head again. His eyes were shaking.
Noo.. not again.. He shakily mumbled.
Eunseo was slightly confused with his sudden quietness. She wanted to ask him what happened but at the same time he pulled her closer, pulled her head to his chest.
She could feel his heartbeat getting faster. She's getting worried.
"Tae, Are you okay?" She softly asked as she tried to look up to see his face, but he didn’t let her as he hugged her tighter.
“Tae.. are..” She wanted to ask again but got tongue-tied with his next words.
"I love you..." I can’t lose you.. Not again. He really wanted to speak up his mind but he couldn’t. He didn’t want to make her worried. He gave her a kiss on her hair.
"I really love you so much.. Seo.." please don’t leave. He repeated.
Eunseo was slightly taken aback with his sudden confession. However It was the first confession after she regained her memories. She looked up to see his eyes which somehow turned sad.
She wanted to utter a word but he didn't let her, as he pressed his lips on hers softly, closing his eyes. He kissed her slowly, tasting her sweet pink lips, calming his drumming heartbeat. She was stunned for a moment but kissed him back in seconds.
The kiss was slow and sweet. He treasures every inch of her lips. All his worries were gone as well as the voice. He felt his chest flooded with butterflies, making him groan in pleasure. Kissing her it feels amazing like he was on cloud nine.
"I love you Seo." He panted as he pulled away for a second to take a breath.
"I love you too, Taehyung." She whispered back and their lips met again.

OK. You've made it clear where you're coming from. Let's restart the conversation (this is going to take me a long time to address everything I want to, so sorry if you feel left hanging while I get to responding).
I won't hold it against you for misreading my tone. I thought OP was being condescending! I thought they were disrespecting spn as heavy-handed and, I don't know, redundant in its storytelling. Which... yeah, that's a fair argument here and there. (Finale aside) I'm of the opinion that if you give spn the benefit of the doubt that "the over-arching plot lines flow into each other and respond to each other in a complimentary fashion," you'll get more out of appreciating what's there, rather than begrudging what's not - or holding your perspective against the text without acknowledging that that's what you're doing. You know, "good faith" reading. Liking or disliking things honestly.
So, when I saw OP making the claim that the show uses metaphors... and is somehow very LITERAL at the same time.... I asked for some clarification. Because that's a contradiction. And where OP ended up was internalizing the points I had made and agreeing that their original interpretation was/could be read as overly simplified and even incorrect.
Because, in fact, after thinking all of this over so, so much, I've come to the conclusion that if "hunting" is a metaphor for anything, it's a metaphor for the cycle of violence - not limited to child abuse, or family violence, or simply grief. And there's a grey morality there: violence can be justified or unjustified. It just depends if you're hunting irredeemable monsters or not. Because THAT, as obvious and reoccurring as it is, is the conversation of the show: are we doing the right thing? Are we using our violence for good? Are we choosing violence or are we trapped in a cycle beyond our control?
I've already pointed out how the metaphors are more nuanced than just one over-arching reading, and I've asked you to allow for more nuance - not for the sake of tptb, I started by invoking death of the Author - but because I want for you to have a more gratifying fan experience. Because you've made your arguments (that I don't agree with), and especially with regards to the "sexual assault metaphor," your final reading of the text is that... you think the writers deserve shade... for 15 years.... of metaphoric r*pe.... going basically unaddressed.
As I've already made clear, I can recognize how you could be reading a sexual assault metaphor into the many depictions of possession on the show, but I ask again: should you? Where it's unintended? Where it has nothing to say on the subject? You've disclosed that your personal experience has colored your perception of the show, so you can see the metaphoric sexual assault everywhere...... and I'm telling you that you've let your perception overshadow what actually happens in the show.
[Sam was sexually assaulted by Meg, as was Jo. The scene where Meg!Sam comes onto Jo and then traps Jo when she asks Meg!Sam to leave and bangs Jo's head against the bar is a sexual assault of both Sam and Jo simultaneously.]
..... I'm not denying that that scene was sexually charged, but that does not mean either character was sexually assaulted. No sexual acts occurred. No kissing. No sex. No groping. Once again, this is a CW show, not HBO.
[In Sin City, Ruby tells Sam that demons leave their hosts "rode hard and put up wet."]
"The phrase itself is derived from horseback riding. When a horse is forced to run quickly, it works up a sweat." This is from a Quora post. Just Google the phrase and you'll find the etymology. I don't point this out to erase the double-entendre being used, simply to say it's not the ace in the hole you think it is (this turn of phrase, even as it was later used to apply to people, was not sexual in origin). Suggestive language like this, dirty and unsavory jokes, are often employed by demons on the show, and is to establish them as casually cruel and... you know, the bad guys. Ruby was talking about why lots of people don't survive exorcism: because the demons are exhausting their hosts to death and getting them injured without care.
[And in s4, Sera Gamble had Ruby inhabit a brain dead vessel precisely because she was too uncomfortable with what would otherwise imply Sam's rape of Ruby's vessel.]
False! You are claiming to know what Sera Gamble was thinking when she wrote what she wrote, which you don't. Which is why I advised we keep the conversation to the text itself and not guess at authorial intent. In point of fact, Ruby found a brain-dead vessel to inhabit only after Sam (who had no romantic/sexual inclinations towards Ruby at this point) admonished her about trying to guide him on a moral path when she was possessing innocent people. And Sam wouldn't have entered that relationship if Ruby had been possessing a sentient person or if he hadn't been coerced! So you are crediting all the reasoning to the writer and not the character, retroactively assigning a reason outside of the text. Also, none of that is descriptive of "possession as a metaphor for sexual assault."
[In Repo Man, the A plot turns on a host who "wanted it" and became romantically attracted to the demon possessing him, while the B plot is about Sam reluctantly asking Hallucifer for help and then being told by Hallucifer that he wanted it too.]
THE WHOLE TWIST OF THAT EPISODE IS THAT JEFFREY WAS NOT THE INNOCENT VICTIM YOU WOULD ASSUME A HUMAN POSSESSED BY A DEMON TO BE. DON'T insult Ben Edlund by saying he wrote a "r*pe to romance" story; he did not. The demon who picked Jeffrey chose him because he already had psychopathic tendencies, he just "needed a push" by something unafraid to commit violence. The kill list was Jeffrey's kill list; the MO was that of a crazy PERSON, not a demon. Jeffrey was "forced" to enact his plans by the demon (non-sexual) and was so grateful he wanted his demon with him forever. The demon points out that their relationship was never sexual or romantic, and kills Jeffrey when he won't relent.
Hallucifer... is a part of Sam. So called "Hallucifer," because the devil is not actually, currently in the room right now (you'll recall that when Castiel transferred Sam's psychic damage/memories of hell unto himself, his experience shifted from seeing Hallucifer too, only for his psychosis to shift into seeing other things). So Hallucifer is the part of Sam that's the devil on his shoulder, his darkest thoughts, his trauma as a result of what he experienced in hell. Sam is not actually possessed by Lucifer, even in part. So there is no victim-blamey parallel between Sam and Jeffrey as possessed sexual assault victims either. The way in which Sam lets "Lucifer" in is by listening to those darkest thoughts inside himself and using them to solve the case at hand. We only get insinuations of sexual assault that occured within the cage, Hallucifer is not insinuated to sexually assault Sam. He's incorporeal, and all his does is psychologically torture Sam.
[In Devil May Care, Dean and Abaddon have a whole scene in which they both discuss her threatened possession of him in sexual terms while she forces him to kneel in front of her suggestively.]
Yep. But a demon making threats of sexual assault does not mean the same thing as "demon possession is a metaphor for sexual assault." You're not talking about the similarities between what Josie's life is like now that she's possessed by Abbadon and how that's like being sexually assaulted; you're talking about how Abbadon is threatening to possess Dean in a manner analogous to r*pe.
[Crowley.]
Crowley possessed Sam, already possessed by Gadreel, in order to alert Sam into ejecting Gadreel. So, as a metaphor for sexual assault... Crowley sexually assaulted Sam while Sam was already being sexually assaulted by Gadreel to help get Gadreel out of Sam? Is this some kind of insane DP scenario? (Bad joke, I know, but THAT'S WHAT THIS BECOMES WHEN YOU SAY THAT CROWLEY'S OFF-COLOR JOKES ARE PROOF OF SEXUAL ACTS OCCURRING, METAPHORICAL OR OTHERWISE!)
[But "free will vs outside manipulation" is not actually a bigger issue than rape.]
Not only did I not say that free will was a more important subject/issue than r*pe, I'm insulted that you thought I implied it. What is happening is that you are circling around and around the points I've made again and again, and stubbornly clinging to your interpretation as more important than what is reasonably offered by the text. I don't want to go there, but you know Mark David Chapman read The Catcher in the Rye and interpreted that he should go kill John Lennon, right? Do we offer that interpretation any merit?
You seem to think your reading of possession as sexual assault (all the time, even when unintended by the writers) is important and shouldn't be overshadowed by different or more nuanced interpretations, but why? Because all it seems to do is make you mad. I'm able to read the passage from Adam Glass above and laugh. Because the Sam-Gadreel storyline was never about Sam dealing with being sexually assaulted. So, an off-color joke like that (not a r*pe joke, btw; Teen Mom is not a show about girls who got pregnant after a sexual assault) doesn't trigger me as "OMG Dean is joking about Sam being inseminated by his r*pist to his face, and Sam just laughs?!" It's a joke! Angels and grace-tracking spells is fantastical high concept stuff! To treat it 100% seriously would make the show unbearably maudlin/self-serious, so the show has a track record of cracking jokes at itself. Adam Glass does not need to go fuck himself. Instead, consider extending some grace (heh) and take it easy!
This conversation with you has gotten me to reexamine and look more closely at some of the subtext/metaphor going on in the show, and that's been fun and engaging, but I really need to take a break from it for a bit now. Please, please, don't feel defensive when I say you should probably change your perspective to something more reasonable and enjoyable going forward. If you have it in you, please keep thinking about these things and keep an open mind. As I said before, if you have anything incisive to say about the metaphors being used in the show, I'd look forward to it. It would show growth if you could point to more instances where your current reading doesn't work.
@aliasl OP's post chain is getting very long and I don't want to clog it up further, but I am actually interested in talking about this further with you if you want, so I've moved to a new post. I thought you were being condescending to OP on a post he made where his point was correct, so I was being condescending in turn. But from your response here it sounds like maybe that wasn't your intent? Which, if that's so, I misread your tone, I apologize, and if you're interested, I'd like to have a do over.
Because, okay, I'm just gonna come out and say it: I hate r*pe. It is a trigger for me in media. If I feel like a piece of media is depicting sexual assault in a disrespectful or careless way - using it as shock value, not having more to say than "wow, that's bad" - I can't stand it, and I block that shit for my mental health. If you honestly think possession is THE metaphor for sexual assault, with the frequency it appears in Supernatural, I'd be appalled.
I think you should be appalled. I think contempt is an appropriate response. I was throwing shade, because I think the writers deserve it.
I do also firmly believe it's possible to be a huge fan of spn while also being appalled at certain aspects of it, and I can respect that if sexual assault is something that's triggering for you, it's perfectly reasonable to avoid that reading for yourself. It is still there though and many of the instances of sexual assault metaphor are central to the text, whether the authors intended it or not. And while I too have read Barthes, and I understand his work was revolutionary for its time, I don't think DotA is adequate to the task of dealing with a text that frequently compares something to rape and then moves right along and ignores the fact that it just did so. I think the authors' motivations, cultural context and intent are worth examining in this kind of case. (I do also understand that Barthes wasn't saying you couldn't examine those things, just that the stated intent of the author wasn't authoritative. Which I agree with. I don't think he was wrong, just that other schools of literary theory are more useful here because it does matter why tptb felt that was a reasonable thing to do).
please show your math
In reference to the family violence reading of spn, it's daunting to show my math because my math is the whole show. It starts in the cold open of 1x01, where we're shown a cozy scene of the suburban dream of family and then dad falls asleep in his marine corp T-shirt watching a war movie, and a demon--played, in this scene, by the same actor as the dad--stands over a baby's crib, drips his body fluid into the baby's mouth, corrupting him forever, and burns the mother and the cozy suburban home to ashes because (we later learn) she sold the baby to him in exchange for her husband. Then the baby's now adult brother breaks into the now adult child's apartment, they have a physical altercation and go off on a case together involving a woman who murdered her two children and killed herself because her husband was unfaithful. The resolution is her ghost is dragged off to hell by the ghosts of her dead children. Then they go back to Stanford and Sam's girlfriend and apartment are burned to ashes by a demon who is later insinuated to be Sam's lover in order to facilitate the plot to have Sam and Lucifer kill their respective brothers in a bizarre prophecy apparently ordained by Lucifer and Michael's father. This is war = family = hunting = ghosts = violence all the way down.
And my math ends in the finale with Sam and Dean shown living a happy domestic life until they go off on a hunt, where Dean is killed while saving two children from a monster they and their father had previously tried to kill but failed. He dies telling Sam he's proud of him for standing up to their father and, for the first time on screen, saying he loves Sam. What issue exactly is he proud that Sam always stood up to John about? Dean doesn't say but we know where the show started: Sam didn't want to be a hunter and their father disowned him for disobedience.
In the middle are too many examples to count. Sam, Dean, Cas, Bobby, Jack, and literally all the angels grew up in abusive families. The entire plots of s4-5, s9-11, and in large part s13-15 turn explicitly on family violence. Amara's brother kills her. Jo is Sam and Dean's found little sister and their father got her father killed. Cas somehow ends up Claire's surrogate found father even though he got her real father killed. Rowena abandoned Crowley as a child. Max turned Alicia into a twig doll over whom he has absolute power. Charlie died as a result of Sam and Dean's family conflict. God himself is the abusive father/monster who Sam, Dean and Jack finally escape the cycle of violence by depowering and not killing. I have never seen any other reading that accounts for the whole of spn anywhere near as well as the family violence reading does. If you have one, I encourage you to offer it to me.
So let's talk about angels. You seem upset that I left them out
I was, yes. I'm going to go under a cut for this one since you said this topic is triggering for you. I know there's limited utility in telling you I don't expect you to read it if you don't want to, because I'm unfortunately well aware of how hard it is to not approach triggering topics once they're broached. I just wanted to say here before the cut that I honestly didn't intend to trigger you, I empathize with how much getting triggered sucks (I've had ptsd for ~50 years), and I wish only health and happiness for you in whatever struggle you are going through in relation to this topic. If you do want to still engage in general but step away from this specific aspect, that's truly fine with me (not that you need a stranger on the internet's permission, obviously).
If you go back and rewatch the series from the beginning, demonic/ghost possession was not sexualized (except in a singular joke Dean cracks at Sam after he was possessed by Meg; a joke Dean feels comfortable making because Sam was NOT sexually assaulted
I swear I am offering this not as confrontation, but gently: the above is not the case. There are two suggestive jokes about possession in that episode alone, and Sam was sexually assaulted by Meg, as was Jo. The scene where Meg!Sam comes onto Jo and then traps Jo when she asks Meg!Sam to leave and bangs Jo's head against the bar is a sexual assault of both Sam and Jo simultaneously.
In Sin City, Ruby tells Sam that demons leave their hosts "rode hard and put up wet". And in s4, Sera Gamble had Ruby inhabit a brain dead vessel precisely because she was too uncomfortable with what would otherwise imply Sam's rape of Ruby's vessel. In Repo Man, the A plot turns on a host who "wanted it" and became romantically attracted to the demon possessing him, while the B plot is about Sam reluctantly asking Hallucifer for help and then being told by Hallucifer that he wanted it too. In Devil May Care, Dean and Abaddon have a whole scene in which they both discuss her threatened possession of him in sexual terms while she forces him to kneel in front of her suggestively. In Road Trip Crowley says he'll leave Sam as soon as he delivers his message because he's "not one for sloppy seconds" and in First Born he says he and Dean are "practically family" because Crowley has "been inside your brother". And these are just the examples I can think of off the top of my head. I'm positive there are others as well.
And yes, I was angry about the exclusion of angels because none of the above are even the most horrifying examples of the text overlapping possession and rape. Those are all about angels.
Here is where I think Barthes fails us in this particular discussion. I actually agree with you that tptb were at the very least pretending that they didn't make this comparison over and over. It's possible they didn't realize they were doing it. And certainly they thought they were indeed talking about "bigger" issues. That's clear from the text.
In s4-5 for example, I have no disagreement with you that their intended reading had to do with free will versus outside manipulation by greater powers. But "free will vs outside manipulation" is not actually a bigger issue than rape. It's just more abstract.
Obviously, abstractions are important, and the ability to move between levels of abstraction is an important skill. But it is not imo in our best interests as human persons to hold a framework in our minds in which an abstraction like free will is more worthy of art, of in depth analysis, of being taken seriously, than a ubiquitous concrete harm like sexual assault. This is especially true for those of us who are rape survivors (I am one, and since you said it was triggering, I'm now assuming either you or someone you know well is probably another), but I would argue it's true for everyone. Nothing trumps the concrete. We are at its mercy. Cartesian dualism is a lie.
I think some of tptb were perhaps going for some shock value but were also taking their metaphor seriously. Edlund, Gamble, Charmelo & Snyder, Glynn, and Jared were among these. Some of the rest though, I think should be ashamed of themselves. The person who wrote this exchange (Adam Glass)
Tumblr media
needs--and I mean this in the most academic and analytic way possible--to go fuck himself. There's really nothing more that needs to be said about that dialogue in the way of analysis. Go fuck yourself, Adam Glass is sufficient.

Halloween ask even though Halloween ended. Imagine Vil being someone important for the vampire such as a king or something like that and he fell in love with a human! So he send Rook to capture them, buy obviously reader fight back and Rook has no other choice but to break both of their legs. While going back to Vil, Rook realize something, it's not fair that Vil will be the only one to enjoy this beautiful human so Rook decides to convince Vil to share reader ><
YES YES YES I CAN ABSOLUTELY DO THAT
(sadly, this didn't turn out quite the way I wanted it... sorry if it disappoints you)
Warning(s): kidnapping, you get both your legs broken, they're both yandere but moreso Rook
Tumblr media
"Rook, come here... I need something." Vil was feeling very conflicted recently.
There's a town near the mansion in the forest. Vil sometimes walks through the town to scope out potential... sacrifices. With an umbrella in his hand, he'll walk through the town, searching for beautiful humans to drain the blood of once night falls. Beauty is wasted on humans, before long they'll decay... it's almost cruel to give them such beauty.
Though, one day, as he was searching for humans to drain, one bumped into him. They apologized immediately, multiple times... and Vil saw their face, it was... beautiful, almost in an ethereal way, almost as if they were a vampire, but they were clearly walking in the daylight, unharmed.
"Oui? Whatever could you need, Vil?" Rook asked, bowing before Vil.
"I met a human a while ago- (Y/N), I believe their name was. I want you to bring them to me."
"If you allow me to, may I ask why?"
"...I've fallen in love with them."
Someone knocked on your door.
You didn't want to stop reading your book, but you're a... shall we say, polite person. You reluctantly put your book down, and walked to the door.
The man standing there... he was wearing a floral pattern suit, a black hat with a black feather, and a cape... his hair was short and blonde, and his eyes were a bright green.
"Greetings, ma chéri. May I come in?" He asked.
"What? N-no! Who are you?" You asked, not wanting to let a complete stranger in your home.
"Ah, of course, my apologies for not introducing myself to you... my name is Rook Hunt, and I have some... important business to speak to you about~"
"...what kind of business...?" You cautiously asked.
"May I come inside?"
"I already said no! Just tell me what's going on here!" You demanded.
"Goodness, such defensiveness!" Rook looked surprised. "I assure you there's no reason to be frightened, chéri! As I said, I simply wish to talk with you, is that so much to ask?"
"W-we can talk like this." You told him. "You don't have to come inside."
"In that case, perhaps you would like to come outside." Rook suggested. You shook your head to tell him 'no way am I doing that'. "Ah... well, I suppose it is what it i-" Rook stopped for a moment. "Is that a ring?"
"Hm? Oh! Um, yes, it is." You said, looking at the ring on your finger.
"May I see the ring closer?"
"Oh, sure." You said, not seeing any harm in it.
Rook grabbed your hand, closely examining the blood-red ruby gemstone that adorned it.
And then he pulled you outside.
"You see, my dear, he has quite the liking to you as of late." Rook explained. "He personally asked me to bring you to him."
You immediately knew something was wrong, so you tried to get away, but Rook's grip on you was... inhuman.
"My my, what's wrong?" He asked. "You have no reason to be scared. In fact, you should be delighted! Vil Schoenheit, prince of vampires, has fallen in love with a human such as yourself! You should feel lucky..."
You couldn't believe what you were hearing. Vampires?! No, that can't be true! Your town has many legends of them, and people do disappear under mysterious circumstances often, but... vampires can't be real...! Right?
"Ah, poor human, dazed, confused, not understanding their situation..." Rook lamented. "You struggle, even though a being higher than yourself has fallen in love with you... I wish I could understand the mind of a human..."
Rook tried to drag you away. He tried to bring you to what is certainly your death. You fought back despite the fact that you knew he was much stronger than you, you tried to get away from him, you tried to survive.
"Quelle bĂȘtise..." Rook sighed. "Why do you continue resisting?" He pushed you to the ground and grabbed your legs. "Believe me, I would much rather not use violence, but... I suppose it is necessary..."
The pain was almost unbearable.
Both of your legs were broken, Rook was dragging you along with him as if he didn't even care about the pain you were in.
He had a tight grip on your ankle, you were lying on the ground as he pulled you along. You felt every bump in the ground, every tiny stick, every little seed, bugs were for sure biting you, what an awful night.
Your legs smelled of blood.
Rook found it increasingly hard to ignore. No vampire could truly ignore the scent of blood, no matter how strong their willpower is... so every now and again, Rook would look back at you to remind himself that this human was for Vil and Vil alone.
But eventually... he saw something in you. He realized you were exactly as beautiful as Vil had said. You were an enigmatically beautiful human...
It's unfair that Vil gets to have you all to himself.
"Vil, I have brought you your human." Rook bowed. "They are in the guest room. Unfortunately, they resisted quite a lot, and I regrettably had to break both of their legs. I'm very sorry."
"Well... I suppose the important part is that they're here now." Vil said. "You said they're in the guest room? I'm going to go see them."
"Ah! Before you do, may I suggest something?"
"...what is it?" Vil asked, glaring at Rook.
"Perhaps we can share the human?" Rook said. "While bringing them here to you, I realized that I felt the same way about them as you described." He explained. "A feeling I can only describe as love."
"And your solution is to... share them?" Vil asked.
"Yes. It's better than the alternative of them being oh so horribly lonely all day when you have important businesses to attend to, isn't it? And wouldn't it be better to have them be watched over every day? If not, then they could attempt escape! Though, I'm not sure why they would... they should realize they're in quite the lucky position!"
"I guess I'll take you up on your offer. I know if I don't you'll just keep whining about it..."
With a pair of broken legs, you were completely at their mercy. Whatever they do to you, you'll just have to bare with it.
Whatever they choose to do to you, you can't do anything about it.
You're theirs, now and forever.

This was not supposed to happen. (Clementine X Fem! Reader)
A/N: I’m so sorry for this basically taking almost a year to write and publish but this year has been something for me. Having to move out and into another place, family getting covid and the me right after them, and then having to get a new job and getting settled with it. Again I’m so sorry! And I’m sorry for the shit summary lol
Request: @angelica-ho Can you do a Clementine x female reader imagine where they are in a relationship and the reader gets badly injured and clementine has to take care of the reader.
Words: 1,112
Summary: Getting injured wasn’t on your plan when you went out hunting but luckily you have someone back home to help you heal.
=======
This was not supposed to happen. Not at all. Never. But it did.
A regular track and hunt turn shoot-out was a perfect way to start the day. Firing what's left of the bullets (Y/N) has left, she leans a little out of her hiding spot.
Crouching down behind the tree, she looked around at her small group, which had no chance against the six men firing right back at them. The buck they were hunting lying dead on the ground after the many shots fired back and forth.
Louis and Violet were behind other trees firing when they saw an opening or a guy. After many shots to the head or body, the men started to dwindle, making it easier and easier to get out alive. The last shot and a body falling to the ground were like music as everything was finally calm. Walking out slowly with their weapons still raised, ready for if anything should pop out unexpectedly.
"Glad the buck is still here," Louis laughs as he checks it out while Violet lowers her gun and searches some of the men for supplies. (Y/N) puts her gun away before rubbing her forehead as a minor headache makes its way behind her eyes. All was calm at the moment, but like most times, the calm turned into a storm as a branch snapping was heard.
Heads snapped up as a figure came out of hiding, and before anyone could react, they fired. The bullet flies through the air, embedding itself into its unlucky host. Another shot was fired, landing between the man's eyes as all eyes turned to Violet. (Y/N) was about to thank the blonde girl, but the pain radiating through her side made it impossible to do anything but kneel to the ground and whimper in pain.
"Shit!"
Shuffling of feet was heard as the pained girl was grabbed into the arm of one of her friends. The other was lifting her shirt to see where the bullet got her.
"Looks like it went right through, thank god." Louis said, putting her shirt back in place and putting pressure on the wound, "We need to get her back." Violet and Louis then got into a bickering match about what to do about everything else, making (Y/N) groan in pain and annoyance.
"Someone just carry me, and then you guys can come back to get the buck," (Y/N) breathes out as pain shoots through her side. Luckily the two agreed as Violet helped get the injured girl onto Louise's back. The small group then hurried to the school to get medical attention.
Once back at the school, the group was greeted by Clem and Asiam, guarding the gate, "What happened?!"
"Here, let me take her," Clem said, grabbing her injured girlfriend to take too Ruby as Louis told Asaim what happened. Clem lays (Y/N) in the nurse's station on one of the beds before fussing over her and asking what happened.
A couple hours later, everything was patched up, letting the girl finally relax. Instructions on what and what not to do while healing were coming out of Ruby's mouth, and right when she said the last word AJ came running in. Worry was painting the poor boy's face, "What happened? Are you okay? I was told you got hurt!"
He wanted to jump on the bed and hug his foster mother but didn't want to put her in any more pain than she was already in. So he opted to sit on the edge of the bed and hold her hand as the girl spoke reassuringly.
Laying more into the bed, she closed her eyes as the headache hit her harder than earlier. By Ruby's demands, (Y/N) couldn't leave the bed for the next couple of days so the healing process could start smoothly. So finally, after doing everything she could, the redhead left the room so the little family could have some private time.
Wanting to get out of the day's clothes, (Y/N) looked over at Clem and asked to grab her some from their room. Leaving the two others in the room to talk and reassure each other.
"Are you sure you're okay?"
"I'm okay, goofball, I promise." Smiling, the girl squeezed AJ's hand to make her point stronger.
"Hmm," AJ, now thinking he was too old for said nickname, decided not to complain as his foster mother was hurt and put on bed rest until she was healed.
Clem walked back in with clean clothes for her girlfriend to change into, making AJ hop off the bed and yelled he was getting water for his wounded foster mother. Clementine then begins to help with getting the dirty and bloody clothes off before grabbing a rag to help clean up anything left on her girlfriend's skin.
Getting into the clean clothes involved more kissing than actually putting the clothes on, but who’s complaining - certainly not (Y/N). After everything is done (which was kind of a bitch to do with a bullet wound that hasn't started healing yet) and getting comfortable, Clem sits on the bed to get comfy without disturbing (Y/N)'s comfort.
AJ then barges into the room with water and a book in hand and makes his way over to the bed holding the couple. He gave the water to (Y/N) and the book to Clementine, "Can you read to us, please?"
AJ's puppy-dog eyes had made Clem retract the no that was floating in her mind, "Okay," She sighed, "Get comfy, goofball."
The young boy settled onto the end of the bed, ready for the story to begin. Opening the hardcover, Clem reads the book's first sentence, already getting everyone on the bed hooked.
Halfway through, AJ and (Y/N) fell asleep, making Clem put the book down and kiss her girlfriend's head that's leaning on her shoulder. Then, letting out a happy sigh, Clem closes her eyes, letting sleep take her into dreamland.
=======================
"Oh my god, will you stop."
"You have to be comfy; you got shot!"
"Yeah, like days ago, Jesus."
"Just work with me, women!"
Finally, getting (Y/N) to work with her, Clementine carried her girlfriend to their shared room, the one AJ decided to move out of because he felt old enough and wanted privacy.
"I feel like a princess being carried off into the sunset but with no sunset."
"Well, I am kinda your knight in shining armor," Clem smirked, feeling smug about how she was able to carry (Y/N).
"Good thing it’s you carrying me and not the other way around because I don't think I'd be able to carry your fat butt."
"Hey!"

“Cyrus Miller, Billy Barker, Ruby Lane,” You stood next to Cindy as Alice showed you what she found. It was a wall of names. Familiar names.
“Marys daughter.” Cindy said, and you stared. You looked at them all, a chill running down your spine as you did. There were so many of them.
And, if you were honest, you don’t know how Cindy convinced you to come on this little field trip. You were supposed to be helping prep the Sunnyvale campers for tonight's big kickoff. That's right- Sunnyvale.
You weren't even a Shadyside counselor like the rest of them. Maybe it was the bleeding heart all your fellow Sunnyvale counselors said you had or maybe it was because Tommy had leant you his keys to- Well, the Sunnyvalers had to get snacks somehow. And, maybe you would give Tommy some to keep his mouth shut. And, maybe you didn't think Tommy, or Cindy, was nearly half as bad as the rest of the Shadysiders. So, did you sometimes, maybe, volunteer to get paired with them for chores? Sure. It was just because Berman was practically begging to be friends with you, not because you liked Tommy or anything. And, maybe, when Tommy had explained, you’d decided you had to see with your own eyes to believe that Cindy was really going to steal something. It wasn't like your heart had skipped a beat or anything when Tommy offered for you to join. It's not like any arguments you'd had completely melted when he did that little head tilt of his, and gave you that little smile- No. Not at all.
Now, you were here, having followed this morbid little treasure hunt all the way to the basement of a witch house. With Alice and Arnie of all people.
“Yeah. Issac Milton, Harry Rooker- You don’t have to go to fucking class to know those names.” And you gulped before you said,
“The Shadyside Werewolves.” You glanced over at the girl on the other side, seeing that she was staring right at you. When you met her eyes, fear started to curl in the pit of your stomach.
Everyone knew the legend, whether they believed it or not. Sarah Fier, the girl that cut off her hand and cursed the land. The girl that turned good men into her wicked slaves. Into beasts. As far as you were concerned, you were looking at a list of Sarah’s lap dogs.
“The disappearances.” Cindy corrected. “They went missing- No one knows what happened to them, and I’ve been telling you all night. There’s no such thing as-”
“Yeah, whatever, Berman.” Alice cut her off, and she pointed down with her flashlight. “Except one.” And, there, illuminated in the yellow light of her flashlight, was the name of one of your, sort of, friends. And crush.
Thomas Slater.
“Tommy? Alice, this isn’t funny.” Cindy didn’t sound impressed, but you took a step back. You’d been with Cindy and Tommy when he was attacked. When Nurse Lane had her freakout. It’s a full moon. One way or another, you’re going to die tonight. Her words rang in your ears, and you gulped.
“What? You think I carved your boyfriends name into solid stone with my fingernails?” Alice asked, but you were already looking at the little space you’d come through.
“Guys,” You said, your voice soft, but neither of them paid attention.
“He’s not my- No, but-” Cindy said, and you didn't even take a moment to silently celebrate Cindy's denial as you tried again.
“Maybe we should get out of here.” You were walking back towards the entrance, a feeling in your gut telling you that you had to get out. This place was giving you the creeps, making all the hair on your body stand up. It didn’t help that it had already been dark when you left. That the big capture the flag event was supposed to start tonight. On the full moon. Alice wasn’t helping as she said,
“Someone else did this.” And, finally, the pair of them seemed to have the same idea that you did. Whether the curse was real or not, maybe this wasn’t the best place to be. Cindy looked back to you, and you looked towards the entrance where you came. Where Tommy Slater stood in the room between you and the way out of there.
***
A long stream of moonlight stretched across the ground as Arnie tried to get Tommy’s attention.
“Tommy. Hello?” Arnie tried, but the guy hadn’t responded for a minute. He was breathing hard, but his eyes were closed, almost like he was sleeping. Or way too high. “Whatever you’re on, man, thanks for sharing.” Arnie said as he clapped him on the shoulder. He walked away, stepping through the pool of light just before it touched Tommy. Then, quietly, he added, “Dick.” As he took another step. Out of the pool of light, out of the way.
As soon as the light touched him, Tommy’s eyes flicked open. Yellow had replaced his normal blue, and Tommy let out a pained sound. He fell, falling over from where he sat onto his knees and onto the cold, hard ground. Further into the moonlight.
Arnie turned when he heard what sounded like bones cracking.
“Tommy?” He asked, and he took a step further. Tommy’s response was a short, anguished yell, before another snap rang through the small room. Arnie had rushed further, before he slowed. He saw the sight of Tommy on all fours. He could see his back arching, his head snapping back before falling forward. Then, the sounds stopped. Tommy went silent. Softer this time, Arnie asked, "Tommy?" And he jumped when Tommy's head snapped towards the sound.
His eyes, once blue, now reflected yellow slowly melting into red. Arnie watched in horror, frozen as the boy in front of him let out an inhuman growl. The second he went to take a step back, Tommy lunged for him.
***
The three of you screamed as you saw Tommy maul what had once been Alice's boyfriend.
At the sound, Tommy's head ripped away. It was covered in blood, his chin, his cheeks, his teeth all drenched in it. If it was possible, the three of you screamed even louder when his red eyes caught sight of you.
"Come on, come on!" Cindy yelled, and you weren't in any position to argue. The three of you ran through the hole you'd come through, and Cindy went for the bookshelf. "Here! Help me!" She yelled, and her and Alice went to topple it over. You, on the other hand, backed against the wall as you watched the grisly sight crawl through the hole. Tommy moved in a way that wasn't human.
It wasn't quite on his hands and knees, but it wasn't quite a run. His face, his hands, his everything had changed. You wouldn't even have recognized that it was him if it wasn't for the red flannel he wore.
Hair had started to grow all over him, poking out like straw out of a scarecrow. His nails had grown long and sharp in a matter of seconds, and you had seen his teeth had been replaced with fangs. He looked like the wolfman, and you backed away in horror even as the girls screamed for you to follow. But, as your back hit the wall, you couldn't bring your feet to move. And Tommy- He ran straight towards the screams.
They hurried into the tunnel, and you watched as he tried to follow. You watched him try to grab Cindy, watched as she kicked him. As she caused the cave in. And as Tommy crawled out to escape the falling rock. Back to the room you were in.
You felt like you were frozen as Tommy lifted himself up. As he sniffed around. You could only watch, reaching to cover your mouth as quietly as you could to stop the sound of your breathing. But, you had nowhere to hide. Not when your feet refused to move. Not when the candle in the center of the room practically lit it entirely.
When Tommy's head finally turned and his eyes finally found you, you could feel a scream tearing up through your throat. You turned your head as he rushed forward, so fast that it made your heart drop. You closed your eyes, expecting the feeling of his jaws, of his claws. You expected to be torn apart, just like the hunk of meat that was once Arnie had been.
But, he didn't.
He stopped.
You didn't move, barely breathed. After a moment, you slowly peeled open an eye and dared a glance. You could hear him huffing, hear his heavy breaths. He was leaning close, almost too close, as he breathed in your scent. He nosed against your jaw, and you couldn't help the scared sound that escaped you. You could smell him too, or maybe it was just the smell of blood hanging off him. Arnie's blood, you reminded yourself. Tommy was tall, strong even on a bad day. You couldn't imagine how that factored in as- Well, as a werewolf. It dawned on you then that that's what he was. He was a beast. One of Sarah's slaves. And, if history repeated itself, he was going to kill anyone he saw.
You thought maybe he was playing with you. The way dogs did sometimes when they found a helpless little animal. He nosed down to your neck, his hands on either side of you as he did. A gasp left your throat when he huffed a hot breath of air against your skin, and a scream threatened to escape. Don't scream. Don't scream. Don't scream. You told yourself. He would definitely bite if you screamed.
Finally, he made a noise. It was half a huff, half something else. Whatever it was, it didn't sound human, but it sounded like he'd finally made a decision. And, then, you felt him lick you.
He licked your cheek and then he pulled back, giving you a tilt of his head when he did. Like he was being playful. Like he did whenever he was trying to be cute. Like he hadn't just murdered Arnie and chased your friends into a cave.
You stared at him, sure that your eyes were as wide as saucers. He stared back, his eyes having faded into a shade of yellow instead of the red that'd shocked you to your core. His playfulness faded and he finally pulled back completely.
His gait was strange as he walked away, and you trembled as you watched each step he took. He cast glances back at you, almost looking- Like a kicked puppy? Until he finally ducked under to go through the hole.
And, when he finally disappeared, your knees buckled and you slid down the wall. You could feel tears building in your eyes, sobs climbing up your throat. You wiped his spit and the blood off your face, pressed a hand to your mouth, and tried to silence them in case he came back. Even as the cries began to wrack through your entire frame.
Over and over, you told yourself that he was gone, but you couldn't bring yourself to get up. You couldn't convince yourself that it was true. Because, if he was what you thought he was, why didn't he kill you?
You cried in the basement until you finally felt like you could move, until one thought pierced all your fear. You needed to find your brothers.
