im trying to think of what the first animal collective et al song i ever heard was and i think it might have been little fang from avey tare's slasher flicks???? which i found from fucking warrior cats?? in 2017 but im trying to think of what the first proper animal collective song i heard was back when i got into them for realsies in like, 2020 or early 2021. cuz i do remember saying i needed to get into AC because i knew little fang avey tare was related to AC, as well as panda bear from doin it right by daft punk feat panda bear. like little fang was not the sole reason i got into AC. although wait if we're counting panda bear too then i guess doin it right would be the first AC et al song i ever heard

#like i rememebr seeing AC mentioned in the comments of doin it right #and then in the comments of little fang #so then i eventually caved and started listening to AC #but only after i heard one AC song and wa slike oh this is theee animal collective ive been hearing about for years #but i cant think of what that one song was !!!#if it was truly early 2021 then i can probs look at last.fm and see the first song of theirs i scrobbled lol #OH. IT WAS NUMBER 1.#YES I REMEMBER NOW. NUMBER 1 i think it was on my spotify discover weekly #next was my girls and then summertime clothes. <3 #you can literally see i listened to number 1 #and then the next day i listened to doin it right and then immediately went back to listen to number 1 again #and then started listening to a bunch of random AC songs lol #brot posts #music
