Thoughts on Act 1 of Arcane Season 2
The positives:
- The animation is fucking incredible.
- Jinx and Sevika teaming up watered my crops and cleansed my skin.
- Underwater goodbye with Jinx and Silco. That scene was made specifically for me.
- Jinx's voice actress continues to be excellent.
- Loved the designs of all the Chembarons. The glimpse we got of the gang wars was also interesting. Unfortunately, too tiny a glimpse. Which brings me to...
The negatives:
- Too many plotlines. They stuffed the season with too much shit which is why each individual plot gets a much shorter screentime than it should. Smeech is introduced and killed in the same episode. Chembarons' gang wars, a huge issue which has repercussions on the entire Undercity, gets only one musical montage before moving on. And this is coming from someone who loved that montage, as well as the song. My favourite on the soundtrack so far. But musical montages shouldn't come at the expense of the story and definitely shouldn't replace the story. There are just way too many music video scenes in general that feel like a way to condense a storyline into the sparknotes version because they don't have the screentime to flesh it out. And they would have the screentime if they cut out all the extra stuffing. Look I'm happy for the League fans who are excited for the Black Rose and all that, but what the hell is it doing in a Piltover/Zaun show. And with zero foreshadowing in Season 1 too. It would definitely be easier to swallow if they had at least hinted at it in the first season. They could have kept Ambessa's beef with this magic cult for a Noxus show. The P/Z narrative has enough to deal with, enough characters to handle already.
- The new side characters are uninteresting and generic. Maddie and the two other enforcers (we don't even know their names after three episodes LMAO) are bland. We know nothing about their characters or personalities. Maddie looks like a rookie, and one of the dudes is an alcoholic, yet they get chosen for an elite strikeforce to capture Jinx? Isha is pretty generic too - the token cute kid that needs protecting. I get the role she will play in Jinx's arc. But that's the problem - she should be a character in her own right, not just a vehicle for someone else's character development. A good example is Mylo. He died for Jinx's arc, but when he was alive he was a distinct character with his own personality. We had a sense of his insecurities, his goals, who he was as a person. Name a single personality trait of Isha and Maddie other than "generically nice person". That's right. You can't.
- Whatever the hell is going on with Viktor. He wakes up from his coma and immediately rejects Jayce so quickly that it was funny. Apparently disapproves of Jayce using the Hexcore to save his life, but then immediately goes to use the Hexcore to save random Undercity people. Bruh. I also don't really like the way the fridged woman from last season seems to be his motivation so far. Nor the way he seems to have no agency in his Machine Herald arc. Instead of Viktor himself believing in transhumanism and mechanizing himself, Jayce does it for him. Instead of Viktor having an ideological drive and wanting a "Glorious Evolution", he is driven by guilt over Sky. Meh. Also he's not even mechanized, instead he's weirdly fleshy?? In a magical way?? More like The Magic Herald :(
- Vi. Her whole character is a mess. Insanely rushed arc which I find unacceptable for one of THE main characters and one of the faces of the show. She and Jinx are supposed to be the leads, their relationship the heart of the story, but so far only Jinx is a well-written fleshed out chaacter with a believable arc. I have too much to say about Vi so I'll expand more on this on another post.
- So much nuance and detail is missing. How does Heimerdinger feel about his ex-colleagues being killed? Does he care? Does he feel guilt? Relieved that he wasn't in the chamber when the bombing happened? No clue! Let's have comedy Mission Impossible instead! How does Ekko feel about the Council attack? Does he approve of it? Think Jinx went too far? How does he feel that she even survived their fight to begin with? No clue! Here, have him joking around with a Councilor for a bit (someone whom Ekko logically should despise), then he can talk Science with Jayce and all three get sent to another dimension together. Yay. What does Vi think happened to Ekko? The last time she saw him, he was fighting Jinx to the death to give Vi and Cait time to escape. He could be dead for all she knows and she doesn't give a fuck. Doesn't even think about him nor mention him once. It's like the writers forgot they're childhood friends. What does the entirety of Zaun make of Silco's death? I assume they heard about it from Piltover (who heard about it from Caitlyn), but how do they think it happened? His body is gone and to Zaun it seems he just mysteriously disappeared. Are there conspiracy theories? Conflicting accounts and rumours? So much nuance that would give the world and characters more depth, sacrificed so we can pack in more rushed subplots and music videos.
- Caitlyn "Wifebeater" Kiramman. And Caitvi in general. So far Caitlyn has guilt-tripped Vi, manipulated her into joining the enforcers, insulted her and then physically abused her. After Vi sacrificed everything for Cait, wore a badge she hates for Cait, even let Cait kill her own fucking sister (and only intervened when the random kid got involved). Why should I give a shit about such a one-sided relationship lmao. "B-but Cait's mom is dead so she's sad about it", every other fucking character in this show has dead parents. Half the cast has faced unfathomable amounts of trauma and pain that make Cait's pale in comparison. Nothing justifies her hitting Vi. "B-b-but it's a parallel to when Vi hit Powder", a shit parallel then. Because the circumstances are not even remotely comparable. "God forbid lesbians do anything🤪", give me a break with this corny bullshit. Be serious for a second. I'm not even a Vi fan and I think she deserves better than this mess of a relationship. The power dynamic between them makes it worse. The way Caitlyn is one of the richest people in the city and Vi is broke. The way Caitlyn is highly educated and Vi never went to school and spent her entire teen years locked in a box. Did the writers think about all this when writing their relationship? Keep in mind, Vi met Caitlyn like a week ago. She barely knows this chick. She's been out of prison FOR A WEEK. Where she was physically abused every fucking day. Putting her in a relationship with a cop who hits her would certainly be a choice! Do I have faith this show will handle it with care? Not really, no. They already ignore Vi's prison trauma. Most likely they will make Vi forgive Cait way too easily because "muh mummy muh grief".
#i could write essays on how much of a fumble vi's character is#her prison trauma. her reason for joining the enforcers. her relationship with jinx. so much potential for a rich character squandered.#will have to elaborate on another post#arcane#arcane league of legends#league of legends#arcane season 2#arcane netflix#vi#jinx#viktor#caitlyn#sevika#jayce#caitlyn kiramman#silco#arcane s2

We getting that Abby x Vi smut or nah… 👀
since you asked so nicely… yeah?
Our Little Plaything
female reader x abby anderson x vi arcane, smut w no plot, strap sex, oral sex, lots of swearing, threesome. Enjoy whores 😘
“Take it for us baby girl you can do it, “ Abby says as she lays next to you. Her thick fingers working themselves slowly in and out of you. Teasing you. “You’re dripping for us sweetheart.” You try to nod, almost dizzy from the amount of pleasure you’re experiencing. Abby takes your free hand and starts to place it where she wants it most. “Ah..almost forgot,” she takes your hand and raises two fingers back up towards Vi’s mouth. “Suck,” she says staring Vi down. Vi pauses her thrusts and does as she’s told. Your hips instinctively twitch. Fuck that was hot. Abby places your fingers on her clit… and you can feel how turned on she is. Abby watches..almost in a trance as Vi continues to fuck your face with her favorite strap.
“Getting it nice and wet, yeah? Such a good girl letting me fuck your pretty throat.” Vi’s moans are…deep…almost guttural as you roll your tongue out between your swollen lips. Vi straddles your chest and grabs your head, fucking your throat deeper with each thrust while Abby continues to use your fingers as she pleases. “Please…,” you whimper out as you feel Vi’s wetness grow on top of your chest with each thrust along with your own amid Abby’s wide digits. Everything feels so…full. “What was that babygirl? You’re gonna have to speak up for us.” Abby asks in almost condescending tone. She heard me. Jokes on her though, I’m not above begging. Especially when it comes to these two. Vi takes a deep breath and pauses her thrusts so they can hear you better. “Please… Abby…Vi… fuck me please…I need to feel one of you inside of me…now.” You plead with begging eyes darting back and forth between the two. They smile at each other.
Vi shrugs those broad shoulders of hers and chuckles a bit, “I mean she is begging babe.” Abby follows up with a kiss on Vi’s lips. She then takes the fingers that she was just fucking you with and places them on your other set swollen lips. She doesn’t make any commands though. She just looks at you. Waiting for you to make the next move. Oh she thinks I won’t do it? Vi instinctively scoots back allowing you to sit yourself up on your elbows. You look Abby directly in her eyes as you grab her thick fingers and swirl your tongue around each one, delicately. What seems like professionally, even. You suck on them like they’re your last meal. Tasting every drop of their hard work. Abby and Vi’s eyes both have gone wide. Think they liked that. “Good fucking girl.” Abby says in a low raspy voice.
Vi has always been a woman of few words. She’s more of a “show you better than I can tell you” kind of girl. She nearly leaps from on top of you and off the bed, grabbing you with ease pulling you to the edge of it as if you’re weightless. She grabs your legs and places your ankles atop her shoulders. She smiles at you. “You ready, sweetheart?” Again, you nod, dizzily, never more ready for anything in your life. Vi slowly but surely works her way inside your soaking wet folds. Once she’s found her rhythm you know it won’t be long before you cum.
“Vi…oh my fuc-“ Words are too much. Her thrusts grow quicker, deeper. “Vi’s fucking you so good, isn’t she baby?” You nod dumbly. It’s getting hard to focus. Abby’s been kissing you and all over you while Vi’s been hard at work but you can’t knock the feeling you aren’t going to be fully satisfied unless the three of you cum….together. “Will..you..sit on my face Abby…please…” You manage to let out between Vi’s buried thrusts.
“Awww, you wanna eat me out huh, baby?” She asks playfully, as she finally lets her hair out of that long braid it’s always in. She lifts her muscular leg up and over your face to get into position. You’re waiting for her to lower herself, but she doesn’t fully. She turns and puts a hand on Vi’s chest. “Slow down babe, we don’t want our pretty girl to cum just yet do we?” Vi’s thrusts slow but they never fully stop. Abby smiles down at you. “Beg. Say…please Abby…let me make you feel good. Let me make you cum.” You do as your told. Very obediently. And Abby finally gives you what you want. She lowers her dripping wet pussy onto your mouth. God, she tastes so fucking good. You skillfully work your tongue up and down her slit…in and out of her.. sucking on her clit.. enjoying every drop of her while she grinds herself against you. There we go. Vi picks her pace back up. “God, you are so fucking sexy. My favorite girls….” Her thrusts are quickly growing erratic again. Vi grunts, barely able to muster words. ”Gonna..cum..soon..”.
“Fuck, me too.” Abby moans.
Me three.
“Stick your tongue out for me and let me fuck that pretty face of yours sweet girl.” Abby says in pleading tone. She throws her arms back, boosting her lower half up so she can bounce up and down on your tongue with ease. “God…fuck… that’s a good fucking girl. Letting me and Vi use you like a fuck toy…our little plaything…fuck..yeah..keep..yeah like that..like that.. fuck…”
“Shit!” Vi nearly yells.
She wraps her strong ace-wrapped arms around your legs and starts to rub her fingers on your soaked budding clit. That’s all you can take.
Your hips begin to buck involuntarily. Fuck I’m about cum.
“Holy shit…I’m…m’gonna cum on your face babygirl. Just like that..I'm..” Abby trails off unable to finish that sentence.
Vi has no words left either. Her moans are enough. Almost as if on cue, the three of you are reaching the peak of your climaxes near the same time and nothing but the sounds of hoarse moans cloud the air in the room.

IMPATIENCE | vi x fem!reader ft. vi - arcane
Summary | it’s been too long of her being gone and when she returns, she graciously lets you relieve that built up restlessness
Warnings / Tags | Smut, strap-on sex, no mention of y/n, no physical description of reader, nicknames (baby, babe, sweetheart, pretty girl, beautiful), breast play (if thats? what this is?? titty sucking idk, r!receiving), uhh praise kink if you squint AN | first fic im ever posting yall uhh expect more this week (guess what week it is chat cmon guess)
God, it felt like days since she’d been with you last. In reality, of course, it’d only been some hours. But lord, how could you help it? The mere thought of her sent a chill down your spine each and every time. And for good reason.
Hell, who could anyone possibly act normal with a woman like her?
Either way, you’re hopeless every moment she’s gone. You’ve tried touching yourself, but in the end you know damn well that nothing will ever feel as deliciously good as her.
That’s why when she finally returned, you were all over her. Begged like you knew she liked; she loved knowing you wanted her, treasured her. She happily let you have some time with her to get all that, shall we say, energy out of your system.
You whimpered occasionally as you moved yourself up and down, your hips stuttering as her strap slid in and out of your pathetically wet pussy.
“Ohh, poor baby,” Vi cooed softly, a sympathetic sound to her voice as she reveled in the desperation that’s accentuated by your heated expression. “Really missed me, huh?”
You nodded weakly, letting out a strangled “mhm” that was quickly cut off by a moan. You felt as if you couldn’t afford to cease your movements, but it was becoming evident that you still couldn’t work yourself the same as she could. “V-Vi, help.. please..”
Her eyes softened at your pleading. “You want some help, babe? Damn, I thought I taught you better than that,” she teased. You whined in response and Vi quickly reassured you. “Aww, it’s okay, sweetheart, you know I’m just fucking with you.”
With that, she thrusted her hips upward, not too sharply, not too suddenly, but just enough to rip a low moan from your throat. Vi let out a soft groan herself in response to the sound.
“Attagirl, there you go.. love your voice, baby, always do,” Vi said quietly, helping you create a steady rhythm as she bucked her hips and you began to move with her.
After you proved to get the hang of it, Vi laid herself back down on the mattress as she watched in satisfaction. She slipped a hand under your shirt, caressing your stomach lightly as she looked up at you.
“Can I take this off, sweetheart?” You nodded midway through her question, causing her to grin in further amusement. She wordlessly and smoothly pulled your shirt over your head and tossed it to the side, and her eyes widened a bit.
“Aww,” Vi said lightly, observing your unexpectedly bare chest. “No bra, babe? Fuck, you really were needing this.” She laughed lightly, careful not to disrupt you as you continued riding her like a bull. She laid her hand on your side, thumb rubbing against the skin of your breast.
You whimpered sharply, knowing damn well what that usually meant. You couldn’t bring yourself to protest just yet, though.
Vi, without warning, leaned closer and before you knew it, her mouth latched onto your breast, sucking gently at first as her tongue played with your hard nipple.
You mewled at the feeling, panting heavier as you fought to keep her strap moving inside you, your hips messily slamming down and causing you to grow louder and louder.
Vi pulled her mouth away from your tit just long enough to speak, a trail of saliva connected her to your skin. “Good fucking girl, that’s it. You look so damn pretty like this, you hear me? So proud of you, baby.”
You moaned and whined endlessly, every other thought drowned out by Vi. You kept going, neither of you stopping until both agreed to. Your cum leaked out, beautifully dripping down Vi’s strap as you whimpered softly.
Vi pressed her forehead to yours as you began to collapse. “You know I love you, right?”
“Yeah.. yeah, Vi.. l-love you too..”
“Love you more, beautiful.”

vi x fem! reader
summary: while at the brothel fresh out of jail, vi needs a little pick me up from her favorite working girl. and it just so happens that this time is on the house
a/n: WHO’S READY FOR ARCANE SEASON 2‼️‼️‼️
tags: smut, implied past relationship, prostitution, vi wears boxers bc i said so, making out, grinding, scissoring
ao3 version
the iridescent pink beads hanging down from the top of the door frame clacked together as a scarred hand pulled them to the side. y/n looked up from the pillows she was lounging on and gasped, sitting up tall as if seeing a ghost.
“vi?”
“hey princess.”
the two had originally met while they were both locked up, y/n had a much lighter sentence than vi did. still, they had pretty similar childhoods growing up in the undercity and bonded quickly, in more ways than one.
vi smirked as she strutted over to her former cellmate. she kneeled down and cupped y/n’s cheeks in her hands, looking over every detail of her face.
“just passing through, getting information.”
“that all?” y/n said breathlessly, looking up at her with half-lidded eyes.
“mmm maybe i wanted to see my favorite girl too.”
“oh yeah? i like the sound of that,” y/n grinned and leaned forward, pressing her lips desperately into vi’s. vi chuckled into the kiss and returned her kiss, nipping at her bottom lip with her teeth before plunging her tongue into her mouth. vi massaged her tongue against y/n’s, deepening the kiss. she ran her hands up and down y/n’s waist, slipping down her lower back before settling onto her ass, cupping the cheeks in her hands. y/n snaked her arms around vi’s neck, gripping the back of her jacket. vi leaned back and extended her legs out in front of herself, pulling y/n to straddle her lap with her thighs on either side of her hips, squeezing her cheeks in appreciation.
y/n rocked her hips back and forth, moaning into the kiss as vi bucked her hips up to match her grinding.
vi pulled back from the kiss, panting heavily with her face flushed. y/n whined and chased her lips, giving her one more peck on the lips. she kissed down the strong woman’s jawline, mouthing at the side of her neck. vi hummed and leaned her head to the opposite side to give her as much skin as she wanted. y/n sucked softly on her neck, letting her teeth scrape against her rough skin.
“hey hey, no biting.”
“you’re no fun.”
vi snorted and shook her head, grabbing y/n’s waist and flipping the two of them around so that she was on top with y/n’s legs naturally wrapping around her waist. she pushed her lips back into hers, tracing her hands up her ribs and squeezing her breasts. y/n arched her back and pressed her chest into her hands, kissing her deeply. vi slipped her hands under y/n’s shirt and pulled it over her head, quickly unhooking her bra too. the pink-haired woman leaned down and latched onto y/n’s nipple, twisting the other between her pointer finger and her thumb.
y/n mewled in pleasure, wordlessly tugging on vi’s jacket. vi took the hint and slipped off her jacket. she took her undershirt off, leaving her chest wrapped up with the flesh-colored reusable athletic tape. she then unbuckled her pants and stripped down to her boxers. while she was busy, y/n unwrapped her legs from around vi’s waist. she slipped off her own skirt and panties in one fell swoop, completely bare to the woman on top of her.
vi paused for a moment and studied the woman underneath her, licking her lips hungrily, “so pretty, so so pretty baby.”
y/n blushed deeply and looked to the side in embarrassment at how wet she already was. she reached forward and rubbed her thumbs into vi’s hip bones. she hooked her fingers under the fabric and pulled them off, admiring her toned thighs. vi grinned at her enthusiasm, slipping the boxers off of her legs.
she hooked her leg over y/n’s and held y/n's leg up, hooking her ankle over her shoulder. she lowered herself so that both of their vulvas touched, a gasp escaping both of their mouths as they touched.
vi rolled her hips against hers, gripping y/n's calf with one hand and stabilizing herself with her hand on the group with the other. y/n palmed her own breasts, rocking her hips with the little movement she could make with the other woman on top of her. suddenly, vi's clit rubbed against y/n's just right and vi turned her head, biting into y/n's calf to muffle her moan. she picked up the speed gradually, letting more of her weight down to have their bodies as close to each other as possible. she kissed the spot she bit, finding just the right stop to grind down on, "baby i'm close."
y/n was a moaning mess under her, mindlessly nodding and babbled out, "m-me too vi!"
vi kept the same pace for both of them and suddenly her hips spasmed as she reached her orgasm, leaning her head back in a wordless scream. y/n reached hers shortly after, moaning out vi's name as her fluids mixed with the woman on top of her.
the two panted in their post-orgasm haze, vi carefully getting up since they were both sensitive and cleaning them up. vi hastily got dressed, barely slipping her shirt on before y/n looked down at her calf and raised an eyebrow, looking up at her, "no biting huh?"
vi smirked and leaned down, cupped her face in one hand with her fingers on one side and her thumb on the other. she kissed her softly and drew back to look into her eyes, "i never said anything about me not biting baby."
y/n rolled her eyes and sat up, crossing her arms over her chest. vi draped her jacket around y/n's shoulders and pushed her hair back from her forehead, kissing her brow.
"i'll see you around pretty girl. stay out of trouble, there's an influx of enforcers coming in."
y/n blushed lightly and nodded, pulling the jacket closed over her chest, "bye vi, and good luck."
vi reached down into her pocket to pull out her cog fee, but y/n put a hand over hers to stop her. vi stopped and looked down at her, tilting her head curiously. y/n smiled and patted her hand, "this one's on the house."
vi smiled and raised her hand up, kissing the back of it. she strode away and saluted her from the doorway, walking out and heading to the front desk to do what she was originally here for, finding powder.

Hey, i hope ur having a good dayy...heard yu wanted some yandere arcane asks...how about vi(romantic) with a naïve piltover darling (generally soft and clumsy as well) fem reader please!!💖💕
Thank you so much that's so sweet!!! I'm getting to requests really late, but I'm doing my best XD thank you for requesting and your patience! Even though it's really late, I hope you enjoy ^^
Soooo glad the second season is coming out soon, I crave it so bad XD
Words: 1,642
Vi was in Piltover, doing what she joked was a small heist. It was just her this time, Vander having cracked down on them all not returning to top side in fear of their safety. She made sure Powder was safe first, and left her in the boy’s care. She had received word there was an event going on, a series of stalls and shops along the road. It was the perfect opportunity to blend in and steal from all the rich assholes who could buy out the whole street if they wanted to.
…That was her plan anyway.
It started off simple enough, showing up right in the middle of the day when it was the most busy. She paid close attention to the people who looked like they had more money than others…and with how idiotic people could be, it wasn’t hard to tell who could afford the most. Starting off, she took small items they had purchased that she thought could go for more underground. She didn’t expect to be bumped into as a girl fell to the ground.
As it were, you only wanted to go to see what the shops had to offer. You weren’t paying much attention though, and bumped into something…or someone. Both you and the person fell to the ground, and you looked up at her from the ground as you whined and rubbed the spot on your leg you just knew would be bruised later. She was laying next to you, and you caught sight of her snarl. You jumped up looking her over.
“Crud! Are you okay? I’m so so sorry, I didn’t mean to bump into you! Did I damage anything you’d bought? I can’t believe I did that again! Gah!” You whined and looked at her as if seeking forgiveness. She looked baffled, and raised an eyebrow in disbelief. “I can pay for anything I broke! Here, let me buy you something, too!” You took her hand, and she accepted it. You couldn’t tell what expression was on her face, but you were terrified you’d made a bad impression on this woman.
“Uh…you don’t have to. I have what I need.” Vi spoke, and she seemed guarded. It was almost as if she thought you were tricking her, not believing you were really being this nice to a stranger. “You hurt, cupcake?” She said, seemingly coming to a conclusion in her mind. She brushed off your shoulders, touch lingering only briefly. Her touch was rough, but it didn’t seem to phase you.
“I’m not hurt! Not any more hurt than I usually am when I fall anyway…” You mumbled the last bit, and shook your head. “And it’s okay! I insist, it’s the least I could do!” Your smile was wide and bright, and somehow contagious. As soon as you locked eyes with her, she smiled back at you, though her smile was much more akin to a smirk.
She leaned forward so your faces were near each other, and her eyes glazed over yours and she continued to smirk as she pulled back. “If you really insist, I have something in mind.” Her original mission had subsided in her mind, and it seemed she had a new plan she wanted to see through. She was still being cautious, but she would play along for now. This could prove to be entertaining, afterall.
You yapped away, Vi barely getting any words in since giving you her name. She didn’t seem to mind though, and listened closely to everything you had to say. It didn’t take long to learn all about you, considering the fact that you told her basically all the important information. It was fun! You got to tell her all about your job, your close group of friends, and your favorite hobbies and pastimes. Vi even asked questions to learn more, despite you not picking up on her prodding more into your personal life.
She had tried to justify it as gathering intel for her next trip with Powder and the boys, but she was growing more intrigued by the second. Though as you reached the stall she had escorted you to, you looked at her. “Oh! A flower stall! Are you getting flowers for someone? That’s so thoughtful!” You giggled, and looked at the wide array of different flowers local to your home and even exported from further off.
Vi smirked, before putting on a small act. She sighed deeply, and looked deep in thought. “I’d love to get her flowers, but I’m not sure what kind she likes. There’s too many to choose from, it’s overwhelming…what kind do you like?” She looked over to you, eyes full of mischief. She only smiled wider when it seemed like you didn’t gather the implications.
“I think these one’s here are the prettiest, and the bouquet has a good variety of flowers! So no matter the room, you can probably make the flowers suit it perfectly!” You thought carefully about your answer, wanting to make sure she could get the best possible ones for the girl she wanted to get them for. It was no trouble, you did bump into her, so it only seemed fitting to help out however you could.
“I see…” She said, and picked up the bouquet you chose. “I hope she’ll like these.” As she said it in a thoughtful but playful tone, before handing them to you. “So, do you like them?” Her hand was outstretched, and you looked at the flowers in confusion. She could practically see the gears turning in your head, and tried to wait to see if you’d understand.
“THEY’RE FOR ME?!” You said, way louder than you meant to. It brought a light blush to your cheeks and you pouted at her. “But I’m the one that bumped into you! I should be getting you a gift!” You looked around the booth, and quickly picked up a bouquet of flowers you thought would suit her. Paying quickly, you copied her motion of giving her the flowers.
“These are for you then! They have colors that remind me of you and your hair, so I guess it’s…a trade?” You thought carefully, trying to decide if you’d be satisfied with a trade rather than providing something to her from your stumble into her. The flowers weren’t very expensive, so it didn’t really seem fair.
“How sweet of you…” Vi said, a glimmer of something in her eyes that you couldn’t place. “I’ll happily accept these flowers from you, cupcake.” She gave a wink, but by now she knew you wouldn’t understand the undertones of her words and meaning. She’d have to be more direct to get through to you. Stepping up her game seemed in order, but not just yet.
“Let me at least buy you something else!” You pleaded, wide eyes as you looked around the stalls to find something else you could give her for her troubles. But Vi looked to the sky, cursing under her breath. At the noise, you tilted your head and asked, “Is something wrong?” You sounded worried, and it only made her heart swell further.
“My sister is waiting for me at home, I have to go.” She seemed reluctant to say it, but started walking away with a glance to you over her shoulder. “Don’t worry, we’ll meet again.” To you, the words were reassuring…whereas most people would have seen it as ominous. You barely knew her, but you welcomed her regardless. There’s no way in hell this would be the last time she saw you.
“But! I have to buy you something else!” You called, jogging the few steps to catch up with her. She had the flowers you had bought her in her arms, and the other items she’d “bought” within her carry pack. She stopped as you approached, you putting a hand on her shoulder.
She hummed, turning to look fully at you before smirking with a dark glint in her eyes. “Then…” She leaned forward, pressing a kiss to your cheek, before playfully breathing into your ear, “We’ll make it a date. Next time, you can take me out on the condition I get to take you out after.” She pulled back, and could have burst out laughing from the shocked look on your face as you blushed.
It only made you smile wide, “Okay! It’s a promise then! Do I get to pick what we do for our date?” You hopped once in place and waited eagerly for her response.
“Of course, cupcake. Anything you wanna do.” With her final words, she turned, as you lost her in the crowd of people. It only then occurred to you that she had no way of knowing where you lived. What if she got lost and never saw you again? Or even worse, what if you never saw her again? It had crushed your spirit a little, and your eyes cast down as you pouted, walking back to your house.
Though from the shadows, Vi loomed. She watched you walk all the way home, making note of any recognizable locations and landmarks so she would remember exactly how to get to you. You were a new form of intoxication she’d never experienced. You were pure, innocent. You didn’t pick up on her flirting until she made sure you did, and you never once questioned her attire or why you’d never seen her before. It made her let out a chuckle, as she watched you, almost hungrily.
You’d see her again, sooner than you’d think…and she’d make sure you could never forget her. She knew it was just a matter of time before she corrupted that innocence of yours, making you hers in any way she wanted…any way she desired.
You should have run when you had the chance, cupcake.

BOO! Hii :)) I luv your arcane work, wondering if you could write a lil fluff fic with Vi and Jinx w/ an SO that has trouble getting out of bed bc of motivation problems, and they help a lot (I'm not projecting...I swear...)
★。/ just keep driving \。★
pairing: vi x f!reader, jinx x gn!reader (separate)
fandom: arcane
word count: 480
tw: canon typical swearing/slang, some light spoiler warnings, other than that just some wholesome fluffy content for my girls cuz they really need it – not proofread. Im tired
song title: keep driving by harry styles (i’m in a phase ok-)
notes: dw anon i hear you, my sleep schedule has been busted recently and i have no motivation :DD hope you enjoy some fluffy content with our girls, they really need it, so i loved this request!
! be sure to like and reblog if you enjoyed !
↳˗ˏviˎ˗ ↴
i don’t think vi has ever had a moment to slow down in her entire life
going from looking after powder to living in a prison to trying to track down her sister and help caitlin, vi just simply doesn’t have the time
but that doesn’t mean she isn’t sympathetic to you
she finds you one morning when you had been late to meet up with her to complete a bounty she had taken on for some extra cash, so she decides to travel to your home in zaun to figure out what’s wrong with you
walking through your front door, she worries that maybe someone broke in
are you hurt?
did you leave?
did something happen to you?
what if–
but no, you’re just in bed, staring at the ceiling and not moving, even when your bedroom door swings open and you have a 5’8” buff woman in the doorway
she will drag you out of bed if she has to, carrying you around, gently coaxing you through your day’s chores one at a time, with her right beside you <3
“hey cupcake… rough couple of weeks? i understand, i’ll help you out today, yeah? one step at a time babe, and i’ll be here the whole time. slowly, ok? let’s get you some food first before we head out for the day. you gotta get out of bed today though, and i’m not leaving you here.”
↳˗ˏ jinx ˎ˗ ↴
jinx isn’t going to be much help to be honest
all things considered, i don’t think jinx really does anything she is supposed to do, without putting it off for weeks and weeks
this isn’t necessarily a motivation issue with her though, just just can’t be fucked-
so when she comes barreling into your house to show off a new bomb she had been experimenting with, almost setting your house on fire, she’s not entirely surprised to find you curled up in bed
she’ll put away the bomb if you ask nicely enough - and give her a good pair of puppy eyes - and instead she’ll join you in bed
she doesn’t have anything to do that day anyways
and if you do? she thinks you can do it tomorrow, who’s really gonna care?
you have a girlfriend willing to commit arson for you if you ask, no one is going to criticise you as long as jinx is around
cuddles are in store for you
(if you beg her, you might be able to convince her to help you with your chores later on too)
“heya toots! it’s a lazy day today, huh? no problem, i was gonna have one of those myself. leave monkey-bomb outside? fineeee. if you insist. we’re not doing anything today though, ya hear me? i could really use some cuddles after tinkering in my workshop all day. scooch over now, bubbles!”
hope you enjoyed anon!!!

ARCANE RELATIONSHIP HEADCANONS 💘🦋💘🦋
THIS IS MY FIRST ARCANE POST YAY 🎉 Please enjoy some basic headcanons about being in a relationship with Vi and Jinx (separately tho…)
VI 💘
This woman will literally kill someone for you. Like actually, murder someone with her bare hands just to protect you. You’re 90% of her impulse control. You’re always the one to hold her back.
She totally has a soft spot for you but will NEVER show it. She wants to maintain her tough guy reputation. She talks to you like she does to anyone else unless you’re alone, just the two of you. Then her voice gets quiet and her facial features soften and she just wants to lay in bed and relax with you all day.
When you’re alone with her, she doesn’t get sappy or sweet or cuddly, she often just wants to be in the same room as you and bask in the comfortable silence. There’s always so much chaos going on around her, she loves your calming and quiet presence.
PLAY WITH HER HANDS!!! Just pull her hand to you and gently fiddle with her fingers, tickle her palm, rub your thumb over her knuckles. She’ll give you the cutest smile as she watches your hands dance around her own.
Bonus points if you bandage her bruised and bloody hands after a fight and then gently kiss her throbbing knuckles.
The first time you expressed any kind of romantic feelings for her, she was straight up like “Me?” *looks over her shoulder* “Me??? Are you sure about that?” She has never had anyone who’s liked her like this and while she feels the same for you, she’s just shocked that you actually want to be her partner and show her affection.
She’s always figured her resting bitch face would scare off anyone who wanted to be her friend or romantic partner. But you can see right through that. You don’t just see Vi the rebel badass, you see Vi the big sister, Vi the jokester, Vi when she’s sad, Vi when she’s excited, Vi when she misses her sister dearly.
You’re the only person, besides Jinx and Vander, that she’s ever cried in front of. When it happened the first time, she just hoped you’d be okay with it and not push her away. This was new for you both but you’re always there with open arms and sweet, consoling words.
She doesn’t get flustered very easy and it’s lowkey hard to flirt with her. You say something like “Did it hurt when you fell from heaven? Bc you’re an angel sent from above.” And she’s just rolling her eyes so hard.
But after a while, she starts flirting back with you and you can’t keep it together. Mostly bc her flirting is so blunt and to the point, it’s shocking.
“Nice ass.” “You’re so hot.” “I wanna make out with you so bad right now.” “Get over here and sit on my lap.”
And every time something like that leaves her mouth, you’re a blushing stuttering mess and she finds it hilarious. She LIVES for the fact that your flirting does nothing to her but her flirting makes you nearly pass out every. single. time.
She HATES when you call her pet names like babe, baby, honey, darling. She’ll glare at you if you let one slip out and you’re just like 😳 oops sorry Ma’am. Plz don’t hit me.
Actually, one time she did hit you. It only happened once but she still can’t forgive herself for it. You spoke out of line about Jinx, explaining that you’re concerned for Vi’s safety every time she goes out to try and reconnect with her sister.
Before you could further explain that you’d like her to be more careful and maybe you could go along with her for support, she smacked you hard across the face with tears welling up in her eyes. She felt like you just didn’t understand how important her sister is to her.
That night, she actually did get cuddly with you and apologized at least 1000000 times and even cried a bit, begging you to forgive her. She even offered to let you hit her back. She felt that she needed to be punished but how could you ever blame her for reacting how she’s always reacted. Fighting is all she’s ever known.
All in all, you are slowly but surely changing her for the better. She’s become less aggressive and more patient with you around. You give her clarity and often calm her down when she’s worked up. You two are still working on her anger issues together.
JINX 🦋
GIRL IS OBSESSED WITH YOU 1000% EVERYDAY, EVERYNIGHT ITS ALL ABOUT YOU
She’s way more affectionate and sappy than her older sister. She just wants to be touching you every second of the day. You’re going to the bathroom? She’s waiting right outside the door. You’re working on a new gadget? She’s hugging you from behind and watching over your shoulder. You’re trying to take a nap? She’s either napping too, all cuddled up against you or she’s violently shaking you awake bc she’s bored and wants someone to talk to.
She’s constantly praising and complimenting you. She didn’t get that a lot as a kid and still gets told way too much that she’s a fuck up and a mistake and a walking red flag. So, one of her main love languages is words of affirmation.
And when you compliment or praise her, she’s ALL. OVER. YOU.
“Nice, Jinx! You’re amazing! I love you so much.” And she’s like 🥹❤️🔥 “KISS ME ON THE MOUTH RIGHT NOW!”
She is your comfort person, and you are hers. If you’re ever nervous, stressed or feeling shy she likes to take the lead with things. She’ll hold your hand and pull you along, she’ll stand in front of you protectively, she’ll do all the talking, she’ll glance over to check on you every few seconds. In return, you give her so so so much confidence and you make her feel so loved and appreciated.
She’s honestly exactly the same when you two are alone as she is when she’s out causing chaos Topside. She’s loud and goofy and wild and can’t stay still for even a second. The only difference is, when you two are alone, she gets extra clingy and just wants to do all the things couples normally do when they’re alone. She wants to kiss you and hug you and hold your hand and start tickle fights and play with your hair and whisper sweet nothings into your ear. She’s actually sooooo romantic, it’s almost disgusting.
Y’all never even agreed to start dating or anything. The first day she met you, she was just like “wow, I think I’m in love with you??? Please never ever leave me. You’re mine now, sorry not sorry.”
BRUH SHES SO JEALOUS 🚨‼️💔 She’ll literally go ape shit on anyone trying to take you away from her. Even if it’s some super top secret meeting that you have to be at, she’s sitting right beside you no matter what anyone else says.
She sees you talking to someone and they are standing just a little too close to you, their smile just a little too flirty for her liking and she’s right by your side in an instant.
“(Y/N). Who’s this? Oh me? Im Jinx. Im their girlfriend, their lover, the apple of their eye, their PRIDE AND JOY SO BACK OFF, PAL!”
She trusts you more than anyone else in her life, it’s other people she doesn’t trust. She knows you’re loyal and only have eyes for her, but she still gets pissed when someone tries to flirt with you.
She’s a little bit possessive, she just can’t help it. She’s afraid you’ll leave her eventually or suddenly disappear just like everyone else has. So she likes to always have eyes on you and always know your whereabouts. Privacy? As Jinx’s partner? Never!
That being said, you’re both so comfortable with each other. You’ve seen each other in a blind rage, sobbing your eyes out, screaming and dancing excitedly when something goes your way. You’ve seen each other sick, tired, grumpy, depressed, stressed, injured, you name it!
Long story short, you love each other in sickness and in health, for poor or for rich, for better or for worse…till death do you part~

Jinx and her Braids -- Meta Pt. II
I already wrote an in-character analysis about Jinx's braids, and a lot of people pointed out that the two braids represent the two persona's she's split between (Powder vs Jinx), and with Jinx's voice actress admitting that some of her lines were written into the script as Powder, and some as Jinx... it seems so plausible. And it got me thinking... if the two braids are her different personas, then her choices to interact with them could tell us things about where her mental health is at in that moment. But then I had to ask:
Do we ever see Jinx intentionally interact with her braids?
We have so many gorgeous fanarts of Jinx swinging her braids like a toy, wrapping them around Ekko (in Timebomb fanart), using them as rope to pull things closer to her--all stuff you'd think an agent of chaos would do if she had rope-stim-toys attached to her head, but does Jinx herself ever actually do any of that in Arcane canon?
Sure, we get beautiful moments like this:
where Jinx and her braids are doing things--but she's not intentionally doing interacting with her braid here. Her braid is reacting and wrapping around her arm itself. (Almost like it has a mind of its own)
If someone can think of a moment where Jinx intentionally interacts with her braids, please pip up because otherwise this analysis is going to get very detailed because:
If Jinx's braids are the manifestation of her split personas, but she never intentionally interacts with them, then that means every (unintentional) interaction she has with them is a symbol from the animators about what is happening in the war between her personas.
Even in that above gif, we see one braid wrapping around her while the other falls out of frame. Under my theorized lens, this could translate to one persona becoming euphorically dominant while the other is being left behind. (With the context of the scene: Jinx is becoming more fully integrated and Powder (and all her baggage) is finally being left behind).
I even think we can track which braid is doing what and conclude that the "left braid is Jinx" and the "right braid is Powder." (With 100% accuracy would be ridiculous.. but I wouldn't put it past Fortiche)
A. Like here, when we see both braids evenly splayed out behind her as she wrestles with not being able to let go of her Powder persona and Powder's wants (to have her sister back) while also needing Silco's approval.
The fact that there's a knife that she's touching right next to her right braid, the one I think might be the Powder persona, could (a) portray a want to cut off her Powder baggage or (b) be foreshadowing to her cutting her Powder persona out of her personhood.
B. Here, where her right braid (Powder persona) is draped across her front (with her arms crossed over it: cue interpretations for body language) which is all of 5 seconds away from her hallucinating seeing Vi in another pink-haired woman.
C. And here, when she's completely chosen her Jinx persona after killing Silco, her left braid (Jinx persona) is front and center, and her right braid (Powder persona) is in darkness.
I think we can even go far back to Powder--cause what do we see?
That sticky-outie piece of hair (that I swear looks braided in some shots, especially in the scene in Jayce's apartment) is on the left side (the Jinx persona).
In Conclusion:
This show is far better thought out than to make characters look a certain way on screen "just 'cause," so to read meaning into Jinx's braids--an outrageous aspect of character design that wouldn't translate well irl (see my previous post on the burden of having braids that long (linked at the top))--and that doesn't seem to carry meaning for in-character choices, has to have components of storytelling meaning to them. And this one interpretation I think has some merit to it.
Am I reading too much into this? Possibly. But does it bring me joy to analyze great TV? Absolutely, so time well spent.

what r ur thoughts about mel in general
mel is so mother, not in a bland girlboss way that people assign female characters they don't actually care about but don't want to be sexist but in a way that I imagine she could inflict emotional violence on me I would think about for decades and also in a gay way because she serves ultimate cunt. I don't like the two ends of the spectrum she gets though, it's either people thinking she is only an evil capitalist manipulator (she is a capitalist but let's not talk about arcanes class worldbuilding issues again lmao) or that she only ever had pure intentions - she did manipulate jayce, she absolutely did work her charm and found cracks in him she could dig her fingers in to make him work the way she wanted and THEN realised she genuinely cares for him. and I love that, I love that she likes a man who is stupider than her and then gets charmed by how earnest he is in his dumbassery
mels issue is fandom is that she's a black woman and people are racist djdjdjkdk and she's attached to a storyline and a man that is largely taken over in fandom landscape by a slash ship so she's always gonna lose, the fact that meljay is a rareship slays me dhsjjs and also her storyline starts kind of late in the season, like it doesn't really kick off until ambessa shows up and by then you have viktor committing unethical experiments and dying and the whole zaun storyline unfolding and everything surrounding jinx-silco-vi triangle is just so enrapturing in its insanity mel stood no chance
but ngl her storyline with ambessa has me gagged, I like gasped when ambessa went BECAUSE YOU WEAKENED ME like the way mel this whole time thought she just didn't live up to ambessas standard and then the realisation that ambessa felt like mel was putting her up to a standard she couldn't live up to and didn't want to accept and that the values she thought she couldn't embody that ambessa did are the reason she was exiled aaaaaaaaa. I hope they get more spotlight next season and noxus becomes more relevant because you see a set number of ways mother daughter relationships are portrayed in media and its rare that there's this sort of violence and strong mindedness present in them the way it often is in father son relationships. I love that mels arc is her rejecting her motherland and their values and building something for herself (like her taking off her family ring and voting for jayces peace treaty even tho the treaty was fucking stupid... jayce is real for that dumb idea just so we could get mels cunt moment and silcos mother coded sophies choice arc)
also there's mels brother who we don't know much about, we know that he was important to mel because duh he's her brother but also she looked up to him in some way. but because arcane moves so fast with its plot she doesn't even get a moment to grieve him
I don't write mel fics a lot tho, just because mel is somewhat smarter than me and that becomes an issue when she has to be written by me, a dumbass. and i cant combat that unlike with another character like with silco who is somewhat smarter than me but he is also extremely delusional and I can balance these out to make it work. acc maybe I need to figure out how to make her more delusional
anyways while I'm here here are mel fic recs: family study this mel/silco fic is one of my favorite arcane fics ever caitmel from linka my fellow Caitlyn Fucks warrior elora/mel that eats character study through being gagged over mels hair insane

In The Darkest Corners, 3.
pairing: vi x fem!oc (y/n with a name)
warnings: mature themes, MINORS BEWARE, suggested violence, just general arcane-ness.
word count: 1,880
synopsis: after somehow successfully breaking back out of stillwater prison, olive still has a long ways to go with prisoner 516.
author’s note: originally published january 2023.
don’t forget to read parts 1 and 2 first!!
⋆。 ゚☁︎。 ⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。 ⋆ ⋆。 ゚☁︎。 ⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。 ⋆ ⋆。 ゚☁︎。 ⋆。 ゚☾ ゚
"Holy fucking shit."
Olive still couldn't believe they had done that. She'd done a lot of ballsy shit in the past year, but breaking into a prison and then breaking a prisoner out of said prison definitely took the cake.
"What? Never pulled a prison break before? Shocker," 516 retorted smugly. Olive rolled her eyes as she followed her towards the lanes, keeping up pace as best she could.
"You know, I still don't know your name," Olive remarked. "I can't just call you 516." As she spoke, she had a near miss with a pipe that apparently wanted her foot.
"Oh, you can call me anything you want," she replied with a devilish smirk. "But if you really want to know, my name is Vi." With a look back at Olive, Vi took one step forward off a ledge and dropped into an abyss of undercity. Olive stumbled to a stop, dumbstruck, unsure of whether to blindly follow or chalk it up to 'Vi' being crazy and call it a day. Except she couldn't do that - not if she didn't want to go back to square one.
Ugh.
Walking up to the ledge her companion had just stepped off of, Olive looked down and felt a wave of dizziness hit instantly. She had built up some skills over the last year, but this — this was damn near foolish. Regardless, today was apparently a day of firsts, and Olive wasn't about to lose it at the first drop.
She had to admit, the feeling she got when she let herself drop off of the high story roof was nothing short of exhilarating. She quickly tumbled onto the next level and raced after Vi, who was already quite a ways ahead of her. Olive refused to acknowledge her already aching muscles as she raced after the former prisoner, swinging across gaps and leaping off from story to story. After what felt like both forever and no time at all, they arrived at their destination.
The middle of the lanes.
Olive watched Vi breathe it in, staring at the smoke and neon lights littering the desolate streets like she had been waiting for this for forever. She watched her, entranced, until she realized what she was doing and shook it off. She can't afford to notice how attractive Vi was, not with what she would need to do, and especially because of her asshole persona — but she was undeniably attractive. Never mind that. Olive was pulled out of her thinking haze by Vi signaling Olive to follow her. Obliging, she jogged up to be next to her.
"Where are we going?" Olive asked, having to keep her fast pace to stay in step with the taller woman.
"Somewhere we can get a good start." Vi replied, looking back at her. "That is, if you can keep up." Olive rolled her eyes and muttered an insult under her breath, exaggerating the sway of her hips as she continued on with Vi. An awkward silence descended upon them and, desperate to at least not be completely miserable during this whole escapade, Olive spoke up.
"So, what does Vi stand for anyway? Vivian? Victoria? Vienna? Viola? Victor? Violence? Vi-"
"Violet." Vi cut her off abruptly. "It stands for Violet. But nobody's called me that since-...well, not for a long time. So don't get any ideas about it."
"Whatever you say, Vi-o-let," Olive replied cheekily, accentuating each syllable. Her breath was suddenly knocked out of her lungs when Vi grabbed her by the front of her shirt and roughly shoved her against a wall.
"I said, you don't get to call me that," she growled through gritted teeth, her face suddenly hardened and stony. "Got it?"
"Got it," Olive squeaked, taking a haggard breath when Vi decided she was appeased and let her go. "Do we have some sort of problem? If you keep grabbing me like that my shirt won't last the rest of the day." She glared at Vi from the side of her eyes, starting to regret whatever possessed her to break the brute out in the first place.
"No problem," Vi replied. "I just don't want you getting any ideas about us being 'friends' or anything. We're both only here to get what we want. No more, no less. Got it?"
Olive paused for a moment, caught off guard. "Got it. No friends."
The pair continued through the lanes until Vi came to a sudden stop in front of what looked like a particularly revolting food stand. The creature running the stand broke a huge, toothy smile when he noticed Vi walking up — did they seriously know each other? When she really thought about it, Olive wasn't all that surprised, but she still had a slight aversion to the smell wafting from the stand.
"Jericho, buddy! How's it been down here?" Vi exclaimed, a smile Olive hadn't seen before suddenly spreading across her face. Jericho replied with a series of grunts and gestured for them to sit down. Vi sat down instantly, Olive...apprehensively. She watched as 'Jericho' turned and started filling a bowl, seeing that when he set it in front of Vi that it was full of what looked like giant blue slug type creatures. Olive's lip curled up instinctively in disgust and had to hold back a gag. She watched as Vi gorged herself on the food, wondering how someone can eat something like that and still look hot. Impressive.
"I'm sorry, but are you going to question him or not?" Olive leaned over to whisper to Vi.
"No." Vi replied swiftly.
"But isn't that why we're here?" Olive asked, her voice rising slightly with urgency and confusion.
"We're here cause I'm hungry," Vi replied before stuffing her mouth again. "Oh, Jericho, this is better than I even remembered." She said in almost a moan as she finished off her bowl. Jericho grunted again and took the bowl, sliding a piece of paper towards Vi under one of his giant fingers in return. Vi shot Olive a knowing smirk and stood up without waiting for the other to follow.
"Where are we going now?" Olive asked as she and Vi traveled further through the undercity. Without a word, Vi flashed her the scrap of paper Jericho had given her. Olive's heart skipped a beat when she saw the symbol etched on it.
"The brothel??" Olive whispered harshly as she stepped in front of Vi and brought the both of them to a halt. "We can't. I-I won't do it, not if I don't need to."
"Shit, Olive, what the fuck are you doing?" Vi exclaimed, furrowing her brows. "Unless you don't want my or anyone else's help, we haven't exactly got another option. Just follow my lead and you'll be fine."
"You don't underst-" Olive cut herself off and took a breath. Not wanting to reveal too much about herself to someone like Vi, she continued. "Fine. But we need to be in and out."
"Whatever you need..." Vi replied sarcastically.
The two of them continued in silence until they arrived in front of the shambled building, which now seemed even more looming to Olive. Vi strode in confidently, which left Olive to linger behind until she forced herself to go in. The smell of smoke and sex filled her nostrils the way it had done so many times, and she felt like even the walls could see her.
"What information could I get from these people anyways? How?" She quietly wondered out loud to Vi, who slowed to face her.
"If you want people to talk to you, you have to convince them that you have what they want," Vi replied with a smirk.
"And what do I have?"
Vi circled around her, looking her up and down. "You're hot, cupcake." She suddenly moved in closer, forcing Olive against the wall and raising one hand to block her right next to her face. "All you have to do is choose — man, or woman?" Her eyes were dark with an intoxicating look, staring so deeply into Olive that she felt like she might melt.
"Right. Got it," Olive said breathlessly, still unable to tear her eyes away from Vi's. The taller pulled away slowly and smirked before she continued down the barely lit hallway. Olive straightened up and tried to swing her hips alluringly as she followed. At the end of the hallway, they came upon a door that Vi knocked on twice. When it opened, it revealed a small elfish woman that Olive often wished she didn't recognize.
"Vi," the woman said, gasping and putting down her teacup. "Aren't you a sight for sore eyes."
"Hello, Babette," Vi replied as she slowly entered the room. Olive truly started to question her own decision making abilities as she followed.
"And Miss Whitlock," she continued with a hint of surprise in her voice, taking a long drag of her cigarette. "I do hope you've come by to tell me you've had a change of heart...you'd be so popular with the patrons." Babette raised her eyebrows as she looked at Olive expectantly.
"Sorry, but no, Babette," Olive sputtered nervously, avoiding Vi's suspecting gaze.
"Oh come now," the small woman continued. "Think about the earnings you would bring in. You'd just have to let yourself go a little bit."
"I said no, Babette." Olive stood awkwardly for a moment before turning around and walking out of the room, the silence booming in her ears. If she was going to be stuck in the brothel until Vi finished up business, she might as well try and do what she said.
Shit, was she going to hate this.
She strutted through the hall until she found a rather lovely looking woman in a fox mask.
"Hello," she said in what she hoped was a seductive voice. "I'm Amryn, love. What's your name?"
—
Vi sauntered down the hall with a new air of confidence. She knew who to find and where to find them — but first, she had to find Olive. A few doors down, she could hear her silky voice floating out of a room, along with someone else's. Approaching closer, she saw just who she was looking for, but not in the way she expected. Olive was draped across a chaise longue with one hand up, playing with a strand of hair. She had a sultry smile on her face, and was now listening to a woman in a fox mask talk about something or other. Not that Vi was listening — she was distracted watching Olive's suddenly intoxicating features. Shaking herself out of it, she stood fully in the doorway and leaned on the frame, crossing her arms casually.

LAST EPISODE
s5 ep13 heart pt 2
LET'S GOOOOOOO
it's 1:21pm and I have laundry to do AND Easter Vigil service starts at 8pm, can I get this all watched before 7pm?
Or am I gonna sit there in church vibrating in place for two hours knowing I have three minutes left on the episode or some bullshit lol
(That's longer than usual, yes. Easter Vigil is actually one of my fave services of the year--we start outside lighting candles (the ones inside have been out since Thursday night, even the one we otherwise never put out), then walk into the dark church, then sorta speedrun bits of the old testament (with a hymn after every reading) and then we decide OKAY IT'S EASTER NOW :D and turn on the lights and make a lot of noise and sing a few more hymns--we don't sing or say alleluia during Lent so all the hymns have that in it. There's often MASSIVE amounts of church incense, too. Anyway by the end it's a bit of a party. Apparently some churches have an actual party after the service.)(side note if you're new-ish to these posts that I'm Episcopalian, like, the priests at my church are a gay man and a woman, we're cool people mostly I promise)
See this is why these posts take forever. Why do I keep infodumping shit. This is what it's like to watch things with me in person, though.
If I get through this episode before Easter Vigil my reward is gonna be coming home and taking an edible and rewatching the last two episodes without screenshots so I can just cry over them.
oKAY
eh? that's new. like putting that on screen like that in dead silence. No intro sequence.
oh right Adora is injured. :( And it's some kind of magical monster thing that did it--a security thing put into the Crystal Castle by the First Ones
when she touches her wound the Failsafe glows, and it's making static-y noises and looking glitchy, that can't be good
the nasty tentacle monster thing is still there buT SO IS CATRA YAYYYY she shatters at least one of its eyeballs? I think?
my brain: this is like Caitlyn helping Vi after she got stabbed by Sevika, the wound is even in the same place :D me: wrong person has the red jacket on also Catra isn't going to buy some illegal potion thing to dose Adora with
(you should watch Arcane)
DOES SHE EVER SAY IT LIKE THAT BEFORE THIS?? oh god she sounds so breathless and relieved
Adora: "You can't be here! It's too dangerous"
And she stands up and starts to fall over and fucking Shadow Weaver helps her stand up, uGH
LOOK AT MY BB KICKING ASS
oh god so Shadow Weaver basically drags off Adora, Catra's like "I'll catch up, okay?" and Adora's like "no no Catraaaaa" her voice is cracking and everything, she doesn't want to do this without her and also worries about Catra and that tentacle monster thing
I'm not gonna screenshot it but poor Glimmer is fighting her dad, who is still chipped and Evil.
Bow is fighting Scorpia, also chipped and Evil. Oh hey Melog shows up and makes Bow invisible.
Micah is MEAN when chipped. He calls Glimmer a failure.
Glimmer: "My mother raised me to be brave. My friends taught me to be kind. And I'm stubborn. I get that from you. I will never stop fighting! And I won't lose another parent! I love you, dad."
She blasts him with enough magic that he collapses.
Bow, invisible, types away on Entrapta's computer she set up in the Horde thing, but when he gets it to start to do its thing he gets excited and says "I've got it!!" and Scorpia hears it and blasts him and is standing over him about to get him.
Bow: "Prime may have made you do a lot of things, but he can't turn you into something you're not. So, right now, all I need you to do is trust me."
Her eyes get normal for a second and she yells, and Bow slams a button on Entrapta's computer. There's a bright light.
Where Sea Hawk is holding Mermista, her chip goes dead and falls off. We get a lovely montage of other characters from all over Etheria, like Huntara and the folks at Elberon, who'd been chipped having their eyes go back to normal!
Scorpia: "oh my gosh I am so sorry!!"
yeah she's definitely back to normal lol
up on Horde Prime's ship:
lol
"My device worked! I knew it would!"
Bow: "Hey, everyone. I'm Bow."
(lol there's so much story in just this frame alone)
But yeah they show people from all over Etheria stopping to watch him speak, including his dads.
"Right now, we're the only thing standing in the way of him controlling it forever. You might be feeling hopeless. You might be thinking "We don't stand a chance." And maybe we don't. Prime's too strong. His army is too powerful. But that's not gonna stop us. We need to show Prime we're not afraid of him, because we have each other. And we have love. We can't give up. And if we go down, we go down together. We need you. All of you."
"It's time to fight. For She-Ra, for our homes, for each other!"
Broadcast over, back to Horde Prime. "Put an end to this mockery."
Catra injures the tentacle monster thing, but now that green is spreading into the room, and as Catra runs down the hall towards the Heart, she stops as Horde Prime shows up in hologram form
"I had such high hopes for you." like what, dude. keeping her around and chipped like a fucking puppet as an example? eugh. (something something about how her speeches to Adora while chipped were an obvious reference to people proselytizing high-control faiths)
the moment of distraction is enough for the tentacle monster to grab one of Catra's legs and she screams in pain D:
also there's still a bunch of earthquakes happening as these two limp towards the Heart
Poor Adora is just weakly going "No...no...wait" Shadow Weaver: "Don't lose your focus. We're so close."
What's this WE shit.
But also damn one thing Shadow Weaver and Horde Prime (and Light Hope!) have in common is they both believe love and affection and "attachments" are weaknesses. Shadow Weaver just cannot seem to get it through her head that Adora's love for Catra (and vice versa) is helpful here. Not a detriment. Love isn't a distraction!!! It gives us a stable ground of security and safety from which to do hard things!!
Meanwhile poor Angella told Adora "take care of each other."
This is pulsating, and so is the Failsafe on Adora's chest
OH NO oh god Okay being near that much hardcore magic is making Shadow Weaver powerful--her hair does the floaty thing for the first time since, what, s2? And she starts reaching for it, but THEN--
Adora yells Catra's name and starts walking back towards her, and Shadow Weaver's hair falls down again and she says the most weirdly desperate-sounding "Adora, wait!"
Prime's hologram is still torturing Catra along with the actual tentacle monster
(someone has drawn rule 34 of that thing but I'm not looking for it. I am content to know it exists.)
AND THEN THE MONSTER GETS BLASTED BY SHADOW WEAVER AHAHA NICE
about time she was useful amiright
okay so is this Shadow Weaver actually realizing she's been wrong about The Power of Love, or is this just her begrudgingly accepting that these two are Sold as A Set, Do Not Separate, and unless Catra's there Adora won't be able to use the Failsafe because she'll be looking for Catra the whole time???
Like is this an emotional epiphany or just pragmatism?
oh god so she magically shoves Catra away (towards Adora), but Catra runs back to Shadow Weaver
And y'all I know I talked about this a LOT way back in earlier seasons but I cannot tell you how accurate this keeps being in regards to dealing with an abusive parent. Like if you'd asked me, even after I cut off contact, if I wanted my dad to die, I would've said No! Of course not! At that point I didn't know whether the no-contact thing was temporary or not. I just knew I needed time and space to not be constantly stressed and anxious, for a notification on my phone to not immediately fill me with so much adrenaline my hands shook.
Anyway Shadow Weaver puts up a magical shield to keep Catra back
Shadow Weaver's response is amazingly calm and quiet. "Please, Catra. You need to make sure Adora reaches the Heart. The magic must be set free."
Her fight with Tentacle Monster isn't going well.
Catra's voice is heartbreaking here. "Stop it! It's going to kill you!"
"But you, this is only the beginning for you."
;_;
STICK THAT KNIFE IN AND TWIST IT! YEAH!
Catra's crying "no...no..." and a hand reaches out and grabs hers
LOL FINALLY HIT THE IMAGE LIMIT okay going to reblog
what a moment for it pfft

Arcane Sisters of Mine
Chapter 6
Word count: 10, 101
3rd POV
“Who the hell are you?” Vi asks the rookie Enforcer, Caitlyn Kiramman. Cait looks at the young reddish pink-haired woman pacing her cell.
“I took a look at your file. There’s no record of you or your crimes. What are you here for?” Cait asks in response.
“My sunny personality,” Vi replies sarcastically.
“You attacked an inmate. Why?” Cait asks.
“Why not?” Vi asks back, walking in the shadows of her cell.
“He was a witness in an ongoing investigation,” Cait responds.
“Hmm, bummer,” Vi replies nonchalantly, not caring in the slightest.
“This was a waste of time,” Cait sighs and turns to walk away.
“Couldn’t have put it better,” Vi says as Cait starts walking away.
“Hey, give Silco a kiss on that winning eye of his, will you?” Vi taunts. Cait glances back at the cell at the name and sighs quietly before walking back over.
“Silco? The industrialist?” Cait confirms.
“Ok, this is getting old. Can you just send in whoever’s gonna kick the shit out of me, so I can get on with my night?” Vi asks. Cait looks at the shadowy figure. She cannot pretend she doesn’t know the brutality of Stillwater, but to hear someone subject themselves to such pain…
Cait glances down at the red warning line a couple feet away from the cell. Most enforcers know the rule and new guards learn fast. Cait. Cait weighs her options. Despite Vi’s demeanor, she mentioned a name, a person of interest. Someone only Cait had suspicions for because Sheriff Marcus wouldn’t listen to her.
Cait remembers a time when she was younger. After Jayce’s apartment explosion, she had begged her parents to explore any option she could for personal defense. Her mother disliked the idea of her daughter fighting in a boxing ring or doing martial arts, but Cait managed to convinced her father to try archery. She liked it but Cait preferred shooting ranges. Her mother was skeptical but once Cait showed a talent for it, her mother allowed her to continue.
Cait steps over the line, holding the file in her hands.
“Does this mean anything to you?” Cait asks, showing Vi the picture the rookie enforcer took earlier.
Vi stops pacing and glances towards the cell grates. She looks through the bars and her ice blue eyes widen when she sees a painted symbol of a monkey head. Just like-
Vi slams the cell bars and Cait flinches slightly.
“Where did you get this?” Vi asks.
“My question first. He worked for Silco?” Cait asks.
“Uh, they all do. How can anyone not know that? Where did you find this?” Vi insists, gripping the bars tightly.
“There was an attack. This is evidence,” Cait explains. I need proof if I’m to believe what you’re saying about Silco,” Cait says and Vi scoffs.
“I could get it for you. Just not from in here,” Vi offers. Cait snickers.
“In what mad world would I trust someone like you?” Cait asks.
“Someone like me? You Enforcers are all the same. Just asshole criminals in fancy uniforms,” Vi says, “You know what? Find Silco yourself.”
“I will, thank you,” Cait decides and walks off again.
“Hmm..Undercity’s gonna eat you alive.” Vi warns with a hint of smugness. Cait stops in her tracks and breathes deeply, knowing Vi is right. She’d never even stepped foot into the poorer areas of Piltover until she became an Enforcer, much less the Undercity. She keeps walking and once she’s alone, she pulls out a prisoner release form. She puts it on the wall and signs her name under ‘parole officer’. Under ‘Authorization’, she freezes and bites her lip. She lets the pen hover for a moment before pushing the pen down on the paper. She quickly signs Jayce’s name identically to how the Councilor would do it before folding the paper up and hurrying back to the warden’s desk.
Cait puts the release form on the desk.
“I’ve got orders from Councilor Talis, concerning Inmate 516,” Cait says.
“Not cooperative, huh? You, uh, you want us to have a chat with her?” The warden asks, slamming his metal staff onto the ground. Cait’s eyes widen.
“No-“ She gasps quietly.
“Oh.”
“It’s for her release,” Cait explains since the warden clearly hadn’t even looked at the form she put down on his desk.
“Huh. Since when’s he a Councilor?” The warden asks curiously.
“Since..today,” Cait says, knowing how that sounds out loud. The warden scoffs at her and reads the release form.
“How many ‘chats’ have you had with her?” Cait asks.
“You know, I never even thought to count,” he answers nonchalantly. Cait’s eyes widen at the unabashed way he talks about treating an inmate. It must’ve been a lot, Cait thinks.
Once the warden reluctantly accepts the release, Caitlyn walks back to Vi’s cell and unlocks it. Vi feels a twinge of pain in her right shoulder and rolls the joint, trying to alleviate the pain. She’s had that pain since that awful night at the cannery. When the explosion toppled the giant metal door on her. The sound of gears clicking gets Vi’s attention and the gate makes a slight banging sound before clanking open, a metallic sound echoing in the silence.
Vi looks over and see’s her cell is open. Cait’s giving her an unreadable, almost analyzing look before she sighs and walks back to return the key. Vi doesn’t take her eyes off the rookie Enforcer.
While Caitlyn is getting Vi released from Stillwater, Marcus is leading the funeral service for the Enforcers Jinx killed while stealing the hexgem.
“These brave Enforcers sacrificed their lives to defend the values of our great city. To some, they are mothers, fathers, sons…daughters,” he says, looking at his own daughter, Ren, who is holding a bouquet of white flowers.
“But to all, they are heroes,” Marcus finishes and the other Enforcers gathered hold their rifles and aim up, firing off a shot, scaring off the crows around the graveyard. Everyone puts a handful of dirt into the coffin holes, including the new Sheriff. Another shot rings out.
When the service is over, Ren tugs on her father’s sleeve.
“Are we leaving too?” She asks.
“In a moment,” he assures her before reaching his hand out. The redheaded girl grabs her father’s hand and he walks through the graveyard until he gets to a large marble statue covered in plant growth on the sides. He stops short of the statue, still holding Ren’s hand. She looks at the stone figure. A woman with short hair and despite the formal look, her eyes are kind. Ren notices that she’s wearing the same badge her father now wears.
“Who was this, Daddy?” Ren asks curiously. Marcus, who hadn’t been able to look at the statue yet, squeezes his eyes a bit before taking a breath and looking at the statue of Grayson, his former boss and someone he is directly responsible for killing by going against her orders all those years ago.
“A good woman,” Marcus tells his daughter. And he meant it too, wishing the older woman was still here to help with the situation in the Undercity…with Silco. Marcus has regrets and one big one is aligning with the ‘industrialist’. The thought of Silco makes Marcus’s blood boil.
After taking his daughter home, Marcus heads down to the Undercity to meet with Silco. Storming into the Last Drop, ignoring Sevika’s glare from across the room, Marcus heads upstairs and opens Silco’s office door.
“Ah, Sheriff Marcus, what can I do for you?” Silco asks calmly, still filling out paperwork, not even looking up to meet the Sheriff.
“We need to talk,” Marcus insists.
Silco’s POV
“We need to talk,” Marcus insists. I motion for him to sit before I slide back in my chair, grab a cigar, and get up to sit on the couch opposite him.
“You said you could control her. I lost six officers! Six!” Marcus snaps, standing up but my guards force him back down.
“She pushed it too far this time. The Council’s up in arms. I can’t make this go away for you unless you give me something to work with,” Marcus says as I grab the cigar cutter.
“Arresting her would be doing you a favor,” Marcus says. I use the cigar cutter to cut the tip off my cigar, cutting off Marcus.
“I don’t need favors. I need you to do your job,” I say, lighting my cigar and taking a puff.
“The Firelights have been a thorn in both our sides. They ambushed my shipment at the Hexgates on the same day as the attack. It seems to me the Council has its culprit,” I explain.
“Oh that’s tidy for you. What if I’m not interested in playing along?” Marcus threatens.
“We’ve accomplished a lot together, Marcus. Sheriff,” I emphasize, pointing at the badge before taking another puff.
“And there is more yet to achieve,” I say and lean forward, “I hope you can remain a part of it.” Smirking I look to the guard on the left. He grabs a sack of gold coins off my desk and shoves it into Marcus’ chest, just like how I gave him his payment in the alley all those years ago.
“For their families. From an anonymous, concerned citizen,” I explain. Marcus stands up and storms out, his hand clutching the money tightly, slamming the door behind him. I lean back and take another puff. Despite scolding Jinx myself, I knew I would’ve had to deal with the new Sheriff sooner or later.
3rd POV
While Marcus heads back after his dealings with Silco, newly appointed Councilor Jayce Talis and his partner Viktor argue over Jayce’s newfound responsibilities. Viktor believing they should stick to their original plan of helping improve lives in the Undercity while Jayce argues he has new responsibilities to the Council now. The corrupted Sheriff interrupts the two scientists to try and dissuade Jayce as discretely as possible, though Jayce is steadfast in his resolve to root out the corruption, worrying Marcus. While the two talk of the stolen gemstone, Viktor feels his lungs spasm and he turns to cough away from the two. He feels a warm liquid spray out his nose and onto the railing he supports himself on. His hand comes to rub under his nose and he sees blood. His head hurts and his vision tunnels, spiraling until Jayce puts a hand on the smaller man’s bony shoulder.
“Viktor-You ok?” Jayce had asked but Viktor brushed him off with a simple response of a headache, which is technically true. Viktor quickly dismisses himself back to his lab.
Down in the Undercity, Ekko keeps a sharp eye on Y/N the whole time. Having to lay low thanks to Jinx and her stealing the gemstone topside, Ekko has made sure to follow through on his grounding. He remembered when the older boys, specifically Mylo, would still disobey if Vander disciplined them.
Ekko’s POV
I watch Y/N from up in the tree. She’s working on the mural while Kiyi, a young disabled woman with a missing leg is sitting near by, talking with the girl. I sigh.
“Little Man?” Scar asks, getting my attention.
“6 Enforcers were killed during Jinx’s attack,” he tells me.
“The Sheriff?” I ask and Scar shakes his head.
“Fine. One survived the bombing as well,” he says.
“Where is he? What’s he doing?” I ask.
“I’m not too sure. Last sighting was towards the docks…to Stillwater prison,” Scar shakes his head with a shrug but my eyes widen at the mention of the brutal prison. Vi.
“Find him and report back to me. I’ll check him out for myself,” I tell him and he nods.
“Sure thing boss,” he says and glances down at Y/N. It looks like Kiyi is comforting the kid. I sigh.
“Hey, you did the right thing,” Scar says, getting my attention. I blink and look at him. Being a father of a young infant himself, I know he understands the responsibility of raising someone.
“Grounding Y/N I mean,” he says when I don’t answer.
“Oh-y-yeah…I hope so,” I sigh, leaning on the railing on the wooden platform perched on a thick tree limb.
“Kids…they don’t understand that what we do..we do to protect them,” Scar explains. I nod and glance back down at the ground near the mural and see Kiyi managed to calm Y/N down and I release a breath I didn’t know I was holding.
3rd POV
Elsewhere in the Undercity, Jinx is in her workshop, looking over Jayce’s notes. She’s managed to make a generator that uses the gemstone to create power. Or…at least, that’s the plan. The manic teenager just finished it and is about to test it. She’s checking the notebook of research she stole to make sure.
“Boring…wow suuuper boring,” she says, laying down on one of the metal fan blades that lay above the mines. She flips the notebook pages and finds something interesting. She sits up and leans forward, focusing on the book.
“Here we go!” She says and looks at the metallic chamber.
“It’s all about these runes. They form this sort of math-y, magic-y gateway,” Jinx explains, showing the book page to the dolls of Mylo and Claggor, “To the realm of heebie-jeebies. And this…Turns it on,” she says, holding the perfectly spherical, glowing blue gemstone between her thumb and forefinger. She places the gemstone in and the device powers on. The wires glow blue.
“So..here goes,” Jinx says taking a breath and slowly turns the dial to the right, turning the power up. The homemade device whirrs and hums as the gemstone sparks. Jinx’s eyes widen when the spark turns to an explosion of blue in the blink of an eye, blasting the girl back. She yelps and groans tumbling a bit. The explosion rattles the dolls of Mylo and Claggor and the various items Jinx had nearby. Jinx’s eyes widen as she’s assaulted of memories from 6yrs ago. Claggor gets hit with one of the unstable blue hexcrystals in the head, instantly killing the boy. Blood splatters a bit just as Mylo gets pierced by a piece of pipe in the chest! The wild-haired boy slams into the wall, breathing hard, numb as he doesn’t even cry out in pain. He glances over at Claggor and his eyes widen when he sees his brother is dead. Mylo looks down in shock and sees a rusty metal pipe sticking out of his upper left chest. The boy reaches towards the pipe and when his fingers graze the pipe, searing pain explodes from the injury. A loud cracking sounds gets Mylo’s attention and he looks up just as the ceiling caves in on top of both of them, killing Mylo.
Jinx winces, shutting her eyes tightly as her generator sputters out, smoking. The blue light disappears and all that’s left are little blue flecks of light. Jinx sobs.
“No! No! It was a mistake! It was a mistake!” She cries as she scrambles to her feet and races to Silco’s office as fast as she can, leaving behind her stuffed rabbit toy Vi gave her that she calls “Mr. Bunny” and the flare as well. Electricity crackles in the air as the energy burst finally dies out.
Vi’s POV
I’m standing free for the first time in years. Well, not completely free. But the air is sweet and the sunshine feels almost hot to me. I look down and see the buildings near us and even the one I’m standing on descends so far down I can’t see the end. This is it. This is one of the passages to the Undercity from Topside. It’s close to how I took Powder and the boys during that botched robbery. I take a breath, hearing a train chugging in the distance. The train car pulls to a stop.
“I heard the bathysphere has a nice view,” that rookie Enforcer who freed me says, looking at the train car. An elderly person with a cane shuffles up the stairs to board.
“That could be a good way to get a lay of the land,” she tells me. I can’t help the instant ‘you idiot’ thought that races by but I have to remember that topsiders don’t know much aside from their privileged lives.
“Too risky,” I tell her, putting the hood of my shirt up. I jump over the ledge and move on the metal beam I landed on to get closer to a copper green roof. I jump and quickly stabilize myself on the slanted roof to jump over to another, then another! The movements, the action, the speed, it’s all coming back to me from my younger, teenage years. I catch the Rookie looking down at me from where I initially jumped from and see her shake her head slightly before deciding to follow me. There’s no way she can catch up.
Cait’s POV
“Too risky,” Vi, the former inmate responds to my rational suggestion of the bathysphere. I watch as she puts her hood up before jumping over the ledge! I gasp.
“What?!” I exclaim and hurry over. I watch and see the pink haired, muscular woman run down a metal beam, balancing perfectly despite the great height before jumping down onto an extremely slanted roof but doesn’t slip! I watch in awe as she leaps to another rooftop, then to another and another! Each jump she gets further and further away.
“Shit,” I shake my head and look down. I scoff slightly before sitting and sliding myself off the edge and look at the metal beam. It’s really narrow. I carefully slide my feet across, not daring to take actual steps because even doing this causes me to wobble slightly but I keep my arms out and look ahead.
3rd POV
Vi races down and despite the years confined in a cement and metal box, she remembers the movements needed parkour her way down into the Undercity. The pink-haired young woman leaps, pulling her knees in and her arms back as she flies by a painted mural of a woman with long wavy brown hair. She’s beautiful. Her flowing gown disappears right at her chest, making a ‘v’ shape. Vi feels the drop of gravity and flails a bit. She lands on the rooftop of another building and rolls to lessen the impact. Vi gets in between two close buildings and slides down, using a hand and foot on each wall.
Cait slides down the ladder and looks down. She barely sees Vi before the parolee disappears. Cait wobbles and clings to the ladder. Vi leaps over a short metal wall and slides down. Vi slows when she gets to a metal pipe that looks down on buildings crammed together, all bathed in a familiar green light. The Undercity. Vi pants as she looks around and finds a way down. She slides down a metal gutter and hits the ground. Once on stable ground, the young woman takes in the familiar but thick air of the Undercity before lowering her hood.
Nearby, an unsuspecting man with a red jacket whistles at Vi, getting her attention. He saunters up to her, his friend with him also approaching. Once he gets close to Vi, he crawls his fingers on her bare, toned shoulder. He flicks a piece of her dark pink hair. Vi smirks.
“Nice jacket,” she comments. The unfamiliar nobody makes a noise of confusion before Vi manages to knock him out with one punch. Blood splatters from his nose and mouth when he hits the ground. His friend looks at Vi and she quickly knocks out the friend as well before taking their clothes. Vi shrugs on the red jacket and quickly fold up the clothes for the Rookie so she won’t stand out more than she already does.
After taking a much longer time than anticipated, Cait slides down the side of a slanted wall and lands on the awning of the building beside it before nearly sliding and falling to the ground. She stumbles a bit, leaning against a building and pants hard when she hears a set of light footsteps near her. The Enforcer turns and sees it’s the old man from topside! It had taken her so long that he’d gotten here! Suddenly something soft hits Cait’s upper body, startling her a bit as she catches a pair of clothes.
“Welcome to the Lanes,” Vi greets, walking up to her.
“You almost got me killed,” Cait argues.
“One of my little sisters could do that when she was 7. All us fisherfolk can. Don’t you wanna blend in?” Vi asks, walking off. Cait hears a man groan and she turns to see an open garbage bin.
Cait’s POV
“Don’t you wanna blend in?” Vi asks me. I’m reminded of a shooting competition I was in when I just turned 16. I was running through a frosty wood, shooting targets, racing someone. Not just anyone though…it was Sheriff Grayson. It wasn’t just any competition either. It was the Enforcer’s test. A ‘competition’ to make sure all Enforcers are able to handle a firearm. I’d gotten to the last target. Grayson was matching me. We aimed. I had shut my eyes and took a breath and in that time, I heard a shift in the snow. I opened my eyes and fired. The bullet it the bullseye, flying through but I knew it wasn’t a true win. I looked over and saw Grayson aiming but putting her rifle down. She nods at me and I give return the gesture as good will. But I was upset.
I was so upset I accused her of bribery because I was so sure my parents had paid her to let me win. But she just gave me a small half-smile and explained to me that being an Enforcer means having the power to protect people.
“Which begs the question young Kiramman, what are you shooting for?” Sheriff Grayson’s voice echoes in my mind.
3rd POV
Back in Piltover, Viktor is able to control the Hexcore to an extent of turning it up, down, left and right. The runes on it glow blue. Jayce is standing in front of a board.
“You had a vision?” Jayce asks.
“What if we’ve been looking at it backwards? We’ve been trying to discover runes that invoke specific effects and then molding them to a useful function,” Viktor says as Sky, his assistant, walks over and hands Jayce a blueprint of the Hexcore.
“Tools, as you like to put it. But, but..if the legends are true, mages aren’t bound to single functions. It’s said the Arcane speaks through them,” Viktor explains as the Hexcore moves and rotates different pieces with Viktor keeping a watchful eye on it through lenses.
“I’m still not following,” Jayce tells his partner.
“They think. They adapt,” Viktor says.
“You think Hextech can…learn?” Jayce asks Viktor, approaching the Zaunite. Viktor turns his right handle and pushes in, locking the mechanism and the Hexcore suddenly emits a beam of light! The scent of electricity is in the air and zaps around Viktor. Jayce flinches away but turns back when it dies out quickly.
“Are you sure this is safe?” Jayce asks.
“Of course not,” Viktor answers as if it’s obvious, though he’s so absorbed in his work, he misses Jayce’s look of concern but he leaves for an opera he knows Mel will be at.
Speaking of concern, it’s the same look Cait gives Vi as she munches down slop that is considered food. Cait’s concern is mixed with disgust as Vi picks up a chunk of what appears to be fish covered in a vague, smelly orange sauce. Cait feels her stomach churn.
“Oh, Jericho, have I missed these,” Vi says, holding a fish chunk to the stall owner. He chuckles heartily as he chops up a fish. Vi notices the pair of clear blue eyes on her and offers the Enforcer some of her food. Cait looks at the colorful food and even if it hadn’t looked inedible, Vi’s hand wraps are covered in blood, dirt and sweat from new to finely aged from prison.
“No. Thank you,” Cait says.
“You’re missing out,” Vi says, eating the offered food herself.
“Are you going to question him?” Cait whispers semi-discretely by pulling on the hood of her stolen clothes. Vi glances at Jericho and the chef is unceremoniously scratching his rear.
“Definitely not above board,” Vi tells Cait.
“Silco. His connections? Isn’t that why we’re here?” Cait asks quietly but clearly frustrated.
“We’re here because I’m hungry. Do you know what prison food is like? No, of course you don’t,” Vi answers back cooly before finishing off the last fish chunk and licking her fingers.
“Unbelievable. I didn’t break you out of jail to eat…slop!” Cait hisses angrily, starting to pace anxiously, “I knew this was a terrible idea. You don’t actually know anything, do you?”
Vi finishes the bowl and wipes her mouth with her hand.
“Mmm, better than I remember,” Vi tells Jericho. The one-eyed chef chuckles and exchanges her empty bowl for a paper napkin. Vi lifts up the corner and sees the symbol for Margot’s. The two exchange a look before Vi walks off with Caitlyn following.
Ekko’s POV
I’ve heard the Enforcers are starting to get more aggressive. While making sure everyone’s been ok, I haven’t checked on Y/N for a while, so when Scar offers to take watch, I start walking around, looking for the little girl. I check our room first and don’t see her. Ok. Maybe the mural? I hurry to the adjacent platform and get a view of the beautiful painting. But no Y/N. Where is she? Who was with her earlier? Senna? No..no, it was Kiyi. I have to find Kiyi.
I find the young woman sitting with friends chatting when she catches my eye.
“Oh, hey Ekko,” she greets.
“Hey Kiyi, you seen Y/N?” He asks.
“I…thought she went home? She told me she was going home hours ago,” she says.
“She’s not in the storage house?” She asks me and I shake my head. Oh no. I race around and ask Scar if he’s seen her.
“You don’t think she left do you?” Scar asks.
“I think she’s as stubborn as Vi and can be as unpredictable as Jinx. Anything’s possible with her,” I say.
“Good point,” he admits, knowing how the young girl is. After searching the whole Sanctuary and even the areas surrounding us, I find no sign of the kid I consider to be my younger sister. I sigh.
“Dammit,” I say under my breath before starting a search party with Scar.
Reader’s POV
I know Ekko will be mad at me, but if I want to see my sisters again, I have to do it myself. Ekko just wants to protect me and I love him, I also still love Vi and..and Jinx. I want it to be how it was. I want Vi and Jinx to come back. They can live with us at the Sanctuary. I’m not sure how Ekko would feel about that but he’d do it if I convinced him. I left no trace of my leaving and make my way through the Undercity, being careful and alert like Ekko taught me.
3rd POV
Elsewhere in the Undercity, Jinx approaches the ruined arcade that hasn’t been touched since that day the Enforcers barged in on the kids. She carefully steps through the shattered glass window and the broken pieces crack under her boots. She rubs the dust between her fingers as she looks around. Everything is the same, covered in a thick layer of dust and cobwebs. Jinx walks until she steps on something metallic. She looks down and see’s the metal plate with Mylo’s face drawn on from the boxing machine.
“Hmph,” Jinx bends down to pick it up, brushing off the dust. It’s a weird feeling for the girl. Mylo’s been gone for 6yrs, but to Jinx, he’s never really been gone. He’s always with her, just like Claggor and Vi.
“Oh what’s the matter Mylo? You worried Powder’s gonna beat you again?” Claggor’s voice echo’s in Jinx’s head as she stands. She glances at the scoreboard when the sudden chirping of a crow snaps the girl’s attention in an instant. She grabs her pistol and aims right at the bird. It caws once and cocks its head. Jinx mimics the movement before shooting the bird dead. She blows the smoke off her pistol before twirling it and sheathing it back at her side as she walks up to the boxing machine.
Memories of a teenage Vi assault Jinx. She remembers how her sister would move with quick precision. Jinx examines the metal frame where the plate goes and puts it in, dusting her hands off. She looks around and finds a metal piece that’s supposed to go into the boxing machine. After eyeing it to make sure it’s ok, she blows the dust off before inserting it. Jinx flips a switch and metal starts powering up. She pushes a lever up which causes a yellow liquid, presumably gasoline to power up the machine. The lights turn on to illuminate the area as Jinx stands before the game.
“Vander,” Jinx hear’s Vi’s voice.
“Because you’re a jinx!” Vi’s voice snaps angrily. Jinx remembers her screaming, her sobbing and pleading for Vi.
“What makes you different makes you strong,” Vi’s voice tells her as Jinx remembers when Vi would love her, stroking her cheek and brushing the hair off her face. But it didn’t matter now. The pain of what happened tainted everything. Vi had slapped her. That night still fresh in her mind. A tender touch turned violent. Jinx’s eyes snap open and she starts swinging, hitting the metal plate with her unprotected fist.
Jinx remembers sitting with her sisters on the roof of the Last Drop that’s contrasted with Vi grabbing her face and yelling at her. Jinx dodges and hits again and again, dodging out of the way. She grunts a bit, remembering how a teenage Vi would move, though instead of Vi’s precise punches, Jinx was wild with her swings and kicks, something Vi didn’t do. The scoreboard changes, launching ‘Pow’ up the leaderboard.
Jinx attacks wildly, almost uncontrolled as she lets the trauma of what happened consume her. Yelling with each hit, grunting until she remembers being told to stay behind. She was alone in the basement.
“RAAAHHHH!!!” The memory of Powder screams.
“AAAGGHHH!!!” Jinx screams, unaware of the tears streaming down her face as she hits the old padding as hard as she can. The teen pants heavily, sweating as she hears the scoreboard change. She looks up and sees her name just below Vi’s #1 spot. She groans angrily before grabbing her pistol and shooting the metal plate.
Vi heads towards the Last Drop, a place she considered home for a good portion of her life. She stops on a metal bridge to look down at the glowing green sign. Different owner different color. Caitlyn approaches and looks down to see a brawl in front of the bar.
“Well, that place does look like it has bodies buried in the basement,” Caitlyn comments off-handedly, angering Vi. Vi’s grip on the metal rail tightens. That was the specific room where she and her siblings lived.
“You don’t know anything,” Vi growls angrily, shoving Caitlyn’s shoulder as she walks past the rookie Enforcer, who just gives her a look, not understanding Vi’s anger. Vi heads to Margot’s Pleasure House, the place on the napkin Jericho gave her.
Back in Piltover, Councilor Medarda has warned Jayce that by shutting down the Hexgate, he’s made an enemy of everyone else in the Council, so he must regain their favor by schmoozing. Viktor had opposed when Jayce talked to him but Jayce insisted he had to attend an opera musical performance, so Viktor merely sighed and told him to go. At the opera, Mel had pointed out who did what, and when Jayce questioned the legality, Mel had a…twist to it. She advised Jayce to offer something the other Councilors would want: to be Hextech partners (despite already having one in Viktor).
Having to make a split second decision, Mel had gotten the attention of an older Councilor who was particularly upset with Enforcers searching her home, due to Jayce’s new order of security. The musician plays solo on stage as they talk. After Jayce takes Mel’s advice and offers the Councilwoman a deal with all new hextech creations, the two shake hands.
“How can I reject such an auspicious offer?” She replies as they shake. He smiles and nods.
As the music swells, it’s all a blur for Jayce. He has to keep track of everything he has to say to these council members. Drinks clink together. Jayce shakes so many hands. Heimerdinger, having bought seat tickets to the event, is sitting near the front enjoying the show, completely unaware of Jayce and his dealings with the council members.
The music comes to an end and the musician bows and everyone, including the council members, clap. Mel looks at Jayce with slight pride. He’s learning his role as a council member, despite not wanting it.
Vi’s POV
We get to Margot’s and I knock on the door. The window slides open and through the metal bars I see the guard look at us. I look back at him and he sighs before unlocking the door and opening it.
I look down the dark hall to hear laughing. The only light are the few candles lining the hall.
“The one place all the secrets are spilled,” I tell her and walk in. She sighs and follows me. I hear a chuckle along with some others chatting elsewhere. I glance through a beaded doorway and see someone taking a puff off a pipe. The smoke is purple like Shimmer. We pass an open bathroom with someone actively bathing, enjoying someone else and the Enforcer peeks in before catching up to me.
“How exactly do you propose we go about this?” She asks me, stopping. Someone in a full body leather suit with a gag walks by.
“Let ‘em think you work here,” I answer obviously.
“Excuse me? I will not,” She says, clearly caught off guard.
“You know what your problem is?” I ask, walking up to the Rookie.
“Please. Tell me,” she replies sarcastically with an eye roll.
“You expect everyone to give you what you want. If you really want people to talk to you, you have to let them think you have what they want,” I explain, pacing around her.
“And what do I have?” She asks. I look her up and down before stepping into her space.
“You’re hot, cupcake,” I tell her and she backs into the wall, I put a hand on the wall next to her.
“So what’ll it be, man or woman?” I ask.
“Uhm-..” She stutters just as someone in a blue suit and white mask walks by. I grab his arm and pull him towards us.
“Hi, I-I’m Pim. What’s your name?” The man, Pim, stutters.
“Matilda. But you can call her whatever you want,” I say, glancing at the Enforcer. She her eyes widen and she gasps slightly before smiling.
“Ah, y-yes. M-Matilda. My parents named me Matilda. After my great-grandmother Matilda, the, uh..-“ she lies horribly. But that doesn’t matter. I’ll ditch her here after I go talk to Margot.
I slip down the hall quietly before getting to her office. I walk in and she looks up at me from some sort of paperwork on her desk.
“Would you believe it?” She asks, clearly not expecting me.
Ekko’s POV
I’m pacing around, waiting to hear from someone, anyone, when I see a streak of green light in the sky. It flies down and I see it’s Scar on his hoverboard.
“Little man-we don’t have confirmation, but we think there’s activity going on near the Lanes. Two guys who got beat up and robbed says it was a woman with pink hair,” he says.
“What? A-Are you sure?!” I demand and he nods. I look away, trying to think. It might not be Vi, but if it is…If Y/N finds out about her, she might want to tell Jinx—
“There’s something else,” Scar says, getting my attention.
“What is it?” I ask.
“There was someone else with her. A female Enforcer, ‘bout the same age,” he says. My eyes widen. All Enforcers work for Silco. None of them can be trusted. If one is with Vi, then that means she must work for him as well.
“Where’d they go?” I ask.
“Margot’s, not sure why,” Scar answers.
“Keep an eye on them. It might be Vi, it might not, but we have to know where the Enforcer is,” I explain and Scar nods.
“Sure thing boss,” he says.
“Any sign of Y/N?” I ask and he shakes his head sadly.
“She’s small and she’s quick. None of us could track her, she practically disappeared. I’m not sure where she went,” he says. I sigh and rub my temple.
“Alright, thanks for looking,” I say.
“We’ll keep up the search until she’s back,” he assures me. I nod and do my best to reassure everyone that overheard our conversation that the Enforcer is no threat to us. That we are well hidden and fortified in the Undercity so well that not even Silco has threatened us.
3rd POV
The industrialist walks into his office as Marcus, the Sheriff, twirls the same blood soaked coin from all those years ago in the alley where Sheriff Grayson and Benzo were killed.
“Sheriff, what a lovely surprise,” Silco says, walking over to sit down at his desk.
“The Hextech wonder boy is on the Council now, and he’s asking questions. It’s only a matter of time before he finds the truth,” Marcus says with a biting tone.
“What is truth, but a survivor’s story?” Silco asks as he opens one of his desk drawers.
“If I’m discovered, we’re both finished,” Marcus threatens. Silco pulls out a metal homemade grenade that’s covered in the symbol of the Firelight leader, but in Jinx’s classic pink and blue colors.
“Good thing you’ve located proof of the Firelights’ involvement” Silco says. Marcus approaches and picks up the grenade.
“This has gone too far,” he says, looking at the explosive device. It has a green light on it and metal things that look like teeth.
Marcus’s POV
For some reason, the chomping teeth of the grenade feels familiar to me, but I can’t place it. My eyes spot the pin and I thumb it. Silco notices.
“Hmm? Imagining yourself a hero? One final act to make you the martyr you’ve always seen yourself as?” Silco asks with a chuckle. I want to do it. I want to kill him. I could do it. I can do it. I pant slightly before screaming, pulling the pin. The grenade flashes pink and Silco’s eyes widen as we are enveloped in a fiery explosion.
“Then what’re you waiting for?” Silco asks, getting my attention. Just a fantasy.
I look at the grenade before sighing. I wanted to pull the pin. I wanted to so bad. But I couldn’t. We lock eyes for a moment before I walk out with the grenade, hoping this will stall Councilor Talis.
Jinx’s POV
Unbeknownst to Sheriff Marcus, I was up in the rafters the whole time.
“Ah, he’s faltering. You need to weaponize the Hextech soon,” Silco tells me. I shut my eyes.
“I can’t do it. Just…give it to the doctor,” I reply, trying not to succumb to the intense emotions.
“You’re the only one I can trust with this, Jinx,” Silco argues rationally. I have to tell him.
“I keep seeing them…that day,” I admit. I watch as he stands and glances up at me.
“Fear haunts us all, child,” he says. He’s told me before that we are the same. Both of us betrayed by a sibling.
“Come with me. I want to show you something,” he says and I obediently follow him out.
3rd POV
Silco leaves the bar with Jinx. Unbeknownst to them, they are being watched by Y/N, who is hiding in Benzo’s boarded up shop. She managed to sneak in through Little Man’s secret hideout. As much as Y/N wants to go after Jinx, she knows she can’t, not while Silco’s around.
Back at Margot’s, Vi is sitting in the brothel owner’s office. Vi’s fists are clenched lightly.
“Sweetheart, I was real sad to hear about Vander. And the kids. Just terrible,” Margot tells Vi. Her fists loosen a bit.
“By the looks of it, no one down here lifted a finger to stop Silco,” Vi argues.
“A few tried but Silco’s got the muscle…and the money,” Margot explains, “he took over the Last Drop.”
“I saw,” Vi says, leaning forward with her elbows on her knees.
“Things have changed without Vander looking out for us,” Margot says, taking a drag off her cigarette.
“Have you heard anything about Powder? I think Silco has her,” Vi asks. Margot gives her a sad look and shakes her head.
“What about Y/N?” Vi asks.
“The Firelights. She’d hang around with them,” Margot says.
“I have to find them,” Vi says, standing up.
“Silco’s number two’s a regular. I can have Miguel tell you where to find her,” Margot explains, talking of the ‘regular’.
“I owe you,” Vi tells Margot and walks out.
“It’s nothing,” Margot says after Vi leaves.
Vi walks back down the hall and passes a room where the Enforcer is. She giggles, getting Vi’s attention. Vi stops and glances over to see the Enforcer charming another woman and Vi smiles. Well I’ll be damn, Vi thinks to herself, scoffing lightly.
Reader POV
Since I can’t go after Jinx, I have to try Vi. I can’t be certain since I’ve only overheard mere words, but I think Vi might be in the Undercity. If I can find Vi, then together, the two of us can get Jinx ourselves and take her back to the Sanctuary. Then we can finally be a whole family again. I glance around and look for anything that might help. I search Uncle Benzo’s desk. I walk behind and-
“Agh!” I yelp in surprise when I see Uncle Benzo’s skeleton! Reddish brown hair clings to the skull and the clothes are dusty and ragged. Bits of muscle and skin are still visible around his stomach, chest and upper arms and legs. Not quite all the way rotted. Maybe in another 6yrs. So that’s what Huck did with the pawn shop owner’s body. I look around and spot a black book. The first page says ‘contacts’. First is Jericho but the second…the second one is Margot. Maybe she’d know something about Vi, since Ekko is so…stubborn about telling me.
Making my way out through the ventilation shaft to Ekko’s secret hideout, I hop from the rooftop onto the ladder and climb down.
Vi’s POV
I find Miguel and he tells me it’s Sevika that’s the regular.
“Sevika? She’s alive?!” I ask incredulously and he nods.
“She’s Silco’s number 2,” Miguel explains.
“Where is she?” I ask.
“She normally plays cards with the scum that hang around, just past Jericho’s stand I think,” Miguel says. I nod.
“Thanks Miguel,” I say and he nods. He was in his mid 20s when I was 16, so he must be in his early 30s now?
“Your old man…he really was the glue that held this community together,” Miguel says and I nod.
“I know,” I say and we part ways. I walk out, leaving the Enforcer behind. It’s not that I want to escape, it’s that I don’t want to involve her in the fight I’m going to have with Sevika.
Reader POV
I make sure to keep to myself, my head down, though I make sure to look up occasionally to make sure I’m still going the right way. I gasp when I see a couple people that I know work for Silco, walk around. I turn and head the opposite way, making sure to stay clear of them. I don’t really know much about Margot other than what my older siblings told me 6 years ago.
“She’s a nice lady but she’s in a dirty business,” Claggor had told me. I didn’t understand at the time, being only 4, but now that I’m older, I understand it’s prostitution. A whorehouse. A place people go for drugs and sex.
I spot the building down the street. That’s when I spot someone. I see someone who looks from the Undercity…the clothes are non-descript and the jacket obscures the person’s upper body but the bright, spiky, shaggy pink hair sticks out above everything else and my eyes widen.
“Vi,” I gasp. I watch as the woman I think is Vi walk down the street and turn the corner. I can’t let her get away! I climb up a ladder and onto a roof. I hop along the close-together rooftops, the buildings practically crammed together, careful to keep out of sight, moving in the shadows. I feel my lungs constrict and vibrate slightly from the asthma I have. I slow down a bit, letting Vi get further away but I think I know where she’s going.
3rd POV
Back in Piltover, Viktor works hard in the lab while Mel and Jayce fall into their emotions. Sky tries to ask Viktor if he has plans after work, but he shuts her down, saying he will probably just sleep there. Sky tries hard not to take it personally, after all, Viktor is dying and has only a certain amount of time left. But she wished she could show him how to enjoy the time he does have.
Sky leaves the workaholic Viktor to his evolving Hexcore that now has multiple glowing blue runes on it. It moves up and down, left to right, turning, clicking…adapting. Viktor is desperate for anything but no matter the combination of runes, nothing works. He slams his desk angrily, shoving his chair back, making papers fly off the desk. He gasps a bit and looks at the Hexcore. His vision is starting to tunnel. Viktor stumbles forward, coughing into his hand, blood splattering on his fingers and onto the desk. All while Jayce his having sex with Mel, unaware that someone he’s close it is literally dying. Viktor slips off the desk and slumps to the floor, passed out, knocking his cane over.
While Viktor is out, the Hexcore starts crackling with electricity. Viktor’s blood on the desk is so close that the Hexcore starts to attract it. The red liquid slowly moves towards the Hexcore before a drop of blood rises up and fuses with the Hexcore!
In the Undercity, Silco has taken Jinx to the water where Vander nearly killed him.
“I almost drowned in these waters,” Silco tells Jinx.
“You told me a million times,” Jinx complains, rolling her eyes.
“Vander wasn’t the man you thought he was,” Silco continues.
“Right, he was like a brother to you, and he turned his back and blah, blah, blah. Did I miss anything?” Jinx asks bored. Silco snickers.
“I’ve got a new one for you,” Silco tells her, running his fingers in the cool, contaminated water. It drips off his hand and Jinx watches intently.
“That day, I let a weak man die,” Silco says before crouching down, dunking himself in, sloshing the water. He returns after a second and wipes his face and hair back.
“And another was reborn. Betrayal, that pain that feels like it’ll eat you from the inside out, can either break you or forge you into something greater,” Silco says as Jinx looks at him before looking away.
“You need to let Powder die,” Silco says, the old name making her look at him, “So the fear of pain will no longer control you.” He explains, offering a hand.
Jinx moves to take it and walks towards him, grabbing his first two fingers, much like she did as a little girl, when they first met.
“You’re strong now. Just like you were always meant to be. Jinx is perfect,” Silco tells his daughter. She steps to him and he gently cups the back of her head, still holding her hand with the other. He gives her a small reassuring smile before letting her lay down in the water. The teenager exhales and Silco gives her a look as if to say ‘ready, now,’ before letting her dip below the surface of the water.
Vi’s POV
I pull up my hood and walk down the street, unaware that I’m being followed. All I care about is finding Sevika. I thought she died. I swear I thought she died. I saw her…then Vander—the building—she was in there-but…if Margot says she’s alive…I have to get to her.
I walk past a few people, bumping into one who grumbles, calling me a bitch and flipping me off, but I keep moving. I stop behind a corner as it opens to a small courtyard between buildings. Sevika is sitting at a card table, playing with two guys. One of them, I recognize. She’s smoking a cigarette. I glare at her, fiery rage is all I feel when I see her for betraying Vander.
3rd POV
Luckily Heimerdinger was staying late and managed to find Viktor and get him to the hospital. The head of the academy also called Jayce to inform him of what’s happened. While Mel sleeps, Jayce slips out and joins Viktor in his hospital room. Mel wakes up and finds her bed empty as Jayce asks about Viktor when the man wakes.
“Jayce?” Viktor asks.
“Viktor—the doctors uhm..—they-“ Jayce tries telling him but Viktor sighs defeatedly.
“How much time do I have?” He asks as Sevika plays the Death and Magician cards in the game, winning.
“Rotten luck boys,” she says, putting her lit cigarette back in her mouth.
Vi’s POV
I race towards Sevika as she reaches to grab the pot winnings of the game and slam my knee into her cheek! Cards, money and Sevika’s cigarette goes flying. She drops to the ground and the two men playing her look at me with a gasp. The one with a prosthetic nose is the same guy from that street fight after the robbery gone wrong 6 years ago. I had to help Mylo with him by slamming a 2x4 of wood into his face, bashing his nose in. If he recognized me, he made no motion of it as the two run away cowardly.
“Vi?” Sevika asks as she gets to her knees. I storm up to her. She tries to backhand me as she stands but I dodge easily and grab the dark skinned woman by her ponytail. I turn and slam the older woman into the concrete wall, pinning her arm behind her and her head against the wall.
“You filthy traitor,” I growl.
“Vander had his chance,” she snarls back. That’s when I see a glowing purple light under the cloak she’s wearing. The arm I’m holding suddenly moves and when it does I hear a mechanical whirring noise. The arm moves unnaturally, breaking free of my grip. She kicks me back and I fall to the ground. As Sevika stalks up to me, she takes off the cloak and I see a mechanical arm! I gasp. I watch as a vial of Shimmer pops up at her shoulder and turns, clicking in place. The Shimmer travels down the whole arm, powering it up. She uses it to motion at me and I stand up. I shrug off my red jacket and take a couple of test punches as she blocks them easily. I swing forward and her metal arm catches and locks in place, trapping me!
“I see you never learned patience,” she says before head butting me and punching my stomach. I hit the wall behind me and gasp at the hard hit. I see her swing at me with that metal arm and I duck. I hit her ribcage but she tanks it so I swing at her face and she merely grunts. I dodge one of her punches from her normal arm so when she tries with her mechanical one, I’m able to grab hold of the upper area and and uppercut her face. She yanks back and tries again, but I dodge, moving to her side. I get in a quick hit to her side before punching her face again. She staggers back and I leap up into the air and swing as hard as I can, feeling my fist connect with her cheek. She goes down, panting a bit and sweating. The Shimmer canister raises and injects itself again. Sevika glares at me, her dark eyes now a sickly purple as she growls at me. She grabs a metal drum and tosses it up before punching it at me! I run to dodge but the Shimmer gives her incredible strength and speed as she bodies me into the wall! I yelp as her hand comes up to wrap around my neck. I’m reminded of the fight with Shimmer Deckard 6 years ago. I tried charging him and he caught me by my neck. Now it’s Sevika. She picks me up and slams me into a wooden crate, hitting the hard ground. I groan as she drags me by my neck and I try prying her metal hand off, but it’s no use! She picks me up and pins me against the wall, luckily she let go of my neck, but her forearm is pressed against my cheek. The Shimmer is hot.
Because she’s so close, I manage to knee her crotch. She grunts in pain and bends forward. I wind back with both fists and hit her back as hard as I can before grabbing hold of her torso and tossing the woman into the wall. She grunts, panting and I stagger a bit from the effort. I make the same ‘come get me’ hand motion at her that she did to me earlier as I breathe hard. Sevika grunts and gets up, trying to swing at me, but I back up, dodging and hit her. I lead her into a narrow area between two buildings. I uppercut her jaw before slamming her head into the wall. I punch her and slam her head into the adjacent wall before speed punching her stomach and grabbing her head and collide my knee with her face. I pant heavily, covered in bruises, blood, and sweat. We both breathe heavily as Sevika gets to her feet. I growl and see a wooden gate behind her. I race towards Sevika, jump, and kick as hard as I can, hitting the ground myself but I hear her body crash through the wood and hit the street behind the gate.
She coughs and spits some blood out but I manage to step on her metal arm as she rolls onto her back, unaware we are being watched by someone. Sevika groans.
“Where’s my sister? Where is he keeping her?” I demand, winding back for another hit as I hold Sevika by her neck.
“Keeping her? You mean Jinx?” She asks me. My eyes widen at the name and I glare at her.
“She works for him,” Sevika says and I gasp. Clearly caught off guard, Sevika takes the opportunity to shank my side, piercing my flesh. I grunt. Sevika comes to my ear.
“She’s like his daughter,” Sevika says of Powder before shoving me to the ground. I fall easily as I feel something warm and liquid run down to my hip. I groan as I try to crawl away, but Sevika walks up to me, grabbing my cheeks in her normal hand.
“I’ll give her your regards,” Sevika says, her metal arm winding back for a hit. Her shoulder Shimmer canister raises and when it does, a single gunshot rings out and shatters the mechanism, making Sevika recoil, letting me go. Sevika looks to where the shot came from to see the Enforcer I left behind at Margot’s, standing on a bridge, aiming her rifle right at her. The Enforcer gets another shot off, but hits Sevika’s metal shoulder as she runs off, getting away.
“Why did you let her get a way?” I ask on my knees on the ground as the Enforcer approaches cautiously.
“Do you ever say ‘thank you’?” she asks back, putting her rifle away.
“He’s gonna know we’re here now,” I warn.
“Whose fault is that?” She asks. I smirk half heartedly as I feel blood drip out of me.
“You’re an alright shot,” I admit.
“I’m an excellent shot,” she corrects. I want to tell her that I would know but I keep my mouth shut. I sigh.
“You gonna help me out, cupcake?” I ask, holding a hand up to her.
“Stop calling me that. My name is Caitlyn,” she says as she hauls me to my feet.
“But you’re so sweet, like a cupcake,” I tell her as I lean heavily on her, my arm draped over her shoulders, unaware we are being watched. Caitlyn chuckles.
“Shut up,” she replies as we walk.
Cait’s POV
As I let Vi lean on me, I can’t help but think of that shooting test and what Sheriff Grayson asked me.
“What are you shooting for?” She asked. At the time, I didn’t have an answer. But now…now I think I do. I’m shooting for Vi…for people like Vi. People that need help whether they be in the lowest parts of the Undercity or the highest seat of the Council in Piltover. I’m an Enforcer because I can help this city. I know I can.
Reader POV
I watch Vi’s fight with Sevika and resist the urge to call out to her. I wince with every hit Vi takes and when Sevika stabs Vi, I find a way down to the ground off the roofs but by the time I could get down, Sevika was gone. I saw no sign of her and after watching the Enforcer pick up Vi, I ran back to a side alley and that’s when my eyes immediately meet Sevika’s! I gasp and immediately run to hide. I can’t tell if she’s chasing me—I don’t think she is, but either way, I think I might have to tell Ekko since I’m pretty sure Sevika will tell Silco about me at the very least.
3rd POV
As Sevika rounds the corner, panting, covered in blood, she is shocked to see a young girl looking at her. Their eyes meet and the girl gasps and quickly disappears. At first, she appeared to be a random street urchin. But…the eyes. Sevika will always remember the eyes of those 3 sisters Vander adopted. Vi with her ice cold, tough eyes, Jinx with her thousand-yard stare and unhinged look and Y/N…Y/N’s eyes always had a brightness that never dulled, no matter how rough the Undercity was. She had the courage and bravery of Vi but the wild, unpredictability of Jinx and a unique light that was all her own. Despite all 3 not having the same eye color, you can tell they are related. And that’s what Sevika knew. She knew this girl…this girl was the youngest of the sisters. Jinx’s little sister!
As Jinx perfects the energy capacitor, Sevika manages to limp back to Silco’s office.
“You’re making a mess,” Silco tells Sevika as he applies makeup to his scarred eye. Jinx spins in her chair, watching her successful test as Sevika approaches Silco’s desk.
“The sisters…they’re back,” Sevika says and Silco’s eyes widen as he whips around in his chair.
“From the dead?!” He demands.
End.

Nothing could make me hate you Vi!!!
As of recently, I’ve been thinking less of how I can rationalize Vi becoming an enforcer and thinking more about how its irrationality can be used effectively in the narrative.
I remember someone’s post (but I can’t remember who, sorry!!!! Might have been @visupremacy) who said that CaitVi being endgame is the unhappy ending and I can't stop thinking about how that can also apply to Vi as an enforcer.
Why are we pretending like Vi isn't known for being completely irrational and allowing for her emotions and dedication to others control her and blind her judgement? It's one of her MAIN downfalls as a character.
I kind of discuss it here, that post was super ramble-y lol, but it generally has the gist on what I'm saying here.
We're all so focused on how Vi is going to justify being an enforcer as if Vi has really justified being or doing anything else she's been or done. Vi makes decisions she thinks are best in the moment. She acts on her emotions, her anger and fear and resentment and regret. Maybe, just maybe, the show isn't suddenly "pro-enforcer". Maybe Vi's story is being used as a device.
Vi isn't just becoming an enforcer for Caitlyn or to find Jinx, her internal (and mostly unaddressed) turmoil controls her actions just as much as her love for others controls them. Vi is here become something is telling her that she needs to be.
Also, note that Vi has just got out of prison after spending ~7 years in there -- majority of her adolescence. Everything around her has changed and this woman who has just rescued her from those abusive circumstances needs Vi. Don't forgot Vi's immense guilt for everything pertaining to Jinx and the fact that the council building (the same one Caitlyn's mom was in) was shot by the end of season two.
Maybe Vi's story isn't about being perfect and linear growth from your trauma, maybe it's so much more than that. Maybe Vi becoming an enforcer will be one of the many wakeup calls she needs, forcing her to look in the mirror and see who she's becoming. Maybe Vi is desperate to not fail at something she feels she's meant to be. Maybe Vi will see who Caitlyn is becoming (because we KNOW Cait is turning at least a LITTLE evil in season 2) and realize that she can't let that happen to her, to them. Maybe, after this, Vi will finally find out and become the person she truly wants/ needs to be, both for herself and for others.
We saw so many people complain about aspects of Arcane S1 as if the show was over, done building upon its narrative. Let's not do that again.
I’m not mentally prepared for the amount of hate Vi is going to be getting now that we’ve seen her in her enforcer uniform
Like… can we at least wait to see just how she becomes a cop before jumping to conclusions about her? The writers have shown they are clearly smart enough to not do anything stupid with her character, and if you really think about it, season 1 ended with the beginning of a drastic shift in the way that Piltover will operate - meaning, there’s a good chance the law enforcement system will take a turn for the better, assuming that Caitlyn will become Sheriff (League lore). Cait’s entire character arc in s1 was her becoming more aware of how terrible Zaun’s situation was and wanting to do something to fix it, even when it nearly cost her her life on various occasions. If anyone’s going to make the position of Enforcer a more positive one, it’s her.
Even if that is not so, I have no doubt in mind that the reasons Vi will become an enforcer are thought-out and reasonable. People have been listing simple-minded theories since s1 came out as to why she might undergo this change - the most prominent one being She’ll become an enforcer just to stay with Caitlyn - and I’m just left wondering if we even watched the same show, the same character. The writers are not that slow. Among Vi’s core traits are resolve, stubbornness and loyalty. There’s no way she would agree to become an enforcer if she thought it spited or degraded anything about her or her upbringing. Let’s not forget that her whole childhood was shaped by the consequences of police brutality. She wouldn’t just… forget that. There is a real solid understandable reason that she’s become a cop, I am certain of it.
Nothing could ever make me hate u Vi

Number 16 with the arcane characters, please. I apologize for sending that last one that had all of those in it, when I should have only sent one at a time. Again, my apologies.
Hello Anon! I have just finished it and here ya go! Hope you enjoy it!
LOVINGLY THROWING YOUR ARCANE S/O OVER YOUR SHOULDER
VI
You both were arguing about how much she comes back home scruffed up
It always was yelling matches, she got loud very quickly as you just tried to get your point across
She was adamant she won and always said 'you should see the other guy'
Quite annoying
And then the next part was she would storm out
Going to go get air as you waited for her to come back or go to sleep to talk about it in the morning
But that wasn't the case this time
"Oh my god," Vi groaned, running her hand down her face as you sighed. You then saw her begin to walk towards the door, you assumed to grab her jacket. "What the hell now?" You asked, tired of it all and quite frankly annoyed.
"Leaving. I'll be back." She stated, brushing past you. She would always say she would be back, just for you and herself to know she wasn't gonna stay gone.
"You can't run away." You scoffed, the woman staying silent as she grabbed her jacket and put it on. That's when you walked towards her.
Once she set her hand on the door handle she felt you grab her arm and turn her towards you. "What-" she was cut off by you throwing her over your shoulder.
"W-what the?! Oh." She said, falling silent as you tossed her on the couch. "No, enough with the fucking leaving."
She stared at you, her eyes wide with an unfamiliar facial expression. "Why are you looking at me like that?" You asked, your anger slowly leaving as you looked back at her confused.
"I didn't know you were that strong…" she trailed off quietly, this whole time was a lie?! You're strong as hell but you let her carry your stuff when merely walking around?!
She then started laughing. "Damn babe!" She smiled, you began to laugh along with her.
"Why didn't you tell me?! Last week you made me carry Jericho's takeout!"
"That's because I didn't want to."
"I love you so goddamn much."
CAITLYN
You were arguing about how she wanted to prove herself so much and with the case she was investigating
You thought it was dangerous as she merely brushed it off
She was so sure she just needed to crack the case and she would be respected amongst her coworkers
Or how you put it "The asshole squad"
You didn't get how she wanted to be respected amongst those group of assholes
Who barely even held their jobs
And with the case she got so deep into it
Losing sleep and not wanting much to do with anything else
And you were so tired
"Seriously Cait, why?" You asked, sitting up from the bed and looking at her as she connected a red string across the pictures on the ground.
"I just need a few more minutes, love." She didn't look up at you, standing up as she looked over the whole map again for what seemed like the millionth time.
"We have stuff to do tomorrow, you're gonna be tired." You state as she didn't answer, you snuck a glance at the digital clock on the bedside table.
2:13 AM, it read. You groaned before standing out of the bed, walking over to her and standing beside her. That was when she finally looked at you, only for a moment though before you threw her over your shoulder.
She yelped, startled and slightly scared you would drop you. "What are you doing?" She asked. "Going to sleep." You answered, with your back to the bed as you dropped her off your shoulders.
You turned around. "I didn't know you were strong enough to hold me. Much less on your shoulders." She said, utterly confused as you yawned.
"Pay attention next time. Sleepy time." You waved her off, climbing under the blanket and pulling her down with you. She laughed, shaking her head at you before settling into the bed.
She was for sure going to know have to find a way to stop you from picking her up now…probably gonna use it against her if she doesn't.
JINX
She wanted to use her bombs and blow up a girl who flirted with you at the last drop
She had left for a few minutes and when she came back and saw the girl who would not take a hint
She said blowing her up was the only way
But you didn't want that, you were sorta against her blowing up people
Y'know she wouldn't hurt you, but you were against her hurting others for small inconvenience
You dealt with it, got the girl to go away as Jinx glared at her over your shoulder
But she said it wasn't enough
That she would "Come back"
You knew why she didn't want to worry about her, you got it but you wouldnt let it happen
But she was so adamant on it
You had no choice
But could you blame yourself?!
The girl has a very…short fuse and she simply had a new bomb to test out
"I'm gonna go! You can't stop me!" She yelled, getting her bombs as you sighed.
"You can't use bombs as an answer all the time." You reminded, the girl waving you off over her shoulder as she smiled when she pulled out a new bomb she had been working on.
"Liar! And this is a perfect opportunity to test out John-John!" She laughed, her bag with her bombs thrown over her shoulder as she went to skip past you.
You had to think quickly, so you grabbed the bag over her shoulder. "Hey!" She said, looking at you before you threw her over your shoulder.
"Nope. Not today, not ever." You said, bag in your hand as you supported her with your other and walked back to her desk. "Ooh! I didn't know you were strong!" She giggled, poking your arm as she kicked her feet.
"You're light anyways," you shrugged, dropping the bag and taking her off your shoulders. You held her in your arms as she acted as if this was a sort of carnival game and kept laughing.
You then put her on her small work chair. "Enough with the bombs. You're gonna need to find a new solution one day." You looked down at her, the girl tilting her head back as she groaned.
"But the other options are so boring!"
"Fine, then at least not for the girl at the bar." She thought about it for a moment, humming as she slumped over her desk. She then smirked, looking up at you.
"Fineee," she dragged out the word, you sighing before looking down at her as she held her arm up. "Only if you carry me!"
You laughed, shaking your head before tossing her back over your shoulder as she squealed with delightment.
From that day on she always made you carry her, she didn't care how as long as her feet were off the ground.
EKKO
You had a small disagreement about you going on a firelight mission
The last one went south and as you had to help another firelight a beam from above you
You were fine, except for small cuts and narrowly avoiding the beam
But Ekko was terrified
He realized in that moment that if the beam had fallen on you, he would've lost you
So he said you should sit this one out
But you didn't want to
You were tired of sitting around and wanted to help
But he couldn't bring himself to put you in danger after the beam
"I'll be fine, Ekko." You state, the boy shaking his head as you collected your mask. "You have to sit this one out. At Least just for a little while." He argued, turning back to him.
"Your idea of sitting out is atleast a couple weeks. I'm not doing that." You shook your head, the boy sighing.
"You can't go, Y/n. That's final." He stated, standing in front of the door as you slowly turned to him.
"That's final? That's funny." You laughed, Ekko deflating. He never did win arguments with you. "Okay, move. We gotta head out soon." You said, walking to the door but stopping as he didn't move.
"Come on, Ekko." You groaned. "No, you have to stay, Y/n." You looked at him with a raised eye brow before sighing. You didn't want it to come to this. Ekko looked at you confused before you swiftly tossed him over your shoulder and began walking to the bed.
"Hey! Put me down!" He said, you granting his wish as you dropped him on the bed and quickly headed towards the door. As you walked out he sat on the bed for a minute, thinking about what just happened.
Have you been that strong this whole time? Without him knowing? Uh…what?!
He quickly stood off the bed, grabbing his mask on the way out as he ran after you.
"Hey?! What the hell was that?" He asked, catching up to you as you looked up at him confused. "What was what?" You asked, stopping your walk as he looked between you and the room you both just came out of.
When you put it together you laughed, patting his cheek before throwing down your hoverboard and stepping on it, guiding it to take you down the tree.
He stood there frozen for a moment, thinking if he liked it or not. Because in a way he did, but how the hell did he not how about how strong you were?! You certainly didn't look strong like that!
He stood there like a statue for a good few minutes before snapping out of it as you yelled at him from the bottom of the tree to hurry up.

Can I request yandere arcane woman who will do anything for the reader besides let them leave?
Yess okay, I've got some good ideas for this one, but im only doing the main three so it doesnt get too long,, thank u for the request!
~Vi~
After everything that has happened to her, Vi is glad to have found you.
You were a friend of Caitlyn's from the Academy, and she had brought the two of them to you to be patched up after the... incident with Jinx.
Your careful hands and charming conversation won her over quickly, taking each one of Vi's little quips and throwing one right back at her, exuding playful energy that she couldn't get enough of.
She couldn't remember the last time she had smiled so genuinely like this.
She starts hanging around you a lot more, and after a while she notices how... fragile you are. You had never learned any fighting skills at the academy- your only formal training being in medicine, and you had barely any muscle on you. If she weren't around, who would protect you?
She moves in with you not long after her revelation. You're too vulnerable without her there, and you live so close to the bridge, too- it's just too danger.
Any groceries you need, Vi volunteers to pick them up. Any clothes or jewelry you want, she manages to get her hands on one way or another. When you mention being lonely, she finds you a little stray kitten to take care of.
All the things she does for you are nice, really, but you miss going for walks around Topside, taking in the view of the ocean, feeling the sea breeze. So one day, when Vi is out doing God knows what, you head off to the seaside with a book.
To be fair, you may have been out a bit longer than you thought. The sun was hidden behind the grandious buildings of the capital, and the sea breeze had turned frigid, but you had gotten through most of your book, and felt thoroughly refreshed.
Topside wasn't as safe as it used to be, but there were more guards than ever lining the streets, and you had no problem getting home safely on your own.
Your biggest threat, however, happened to be in your own house.
When you opened the door to your home, you'd almost thought you had gone to the wrong place. It was trashed- furniture upturned, broken, and scattered all around the living room. The lights were off, and when you flipped them on, you were surprised to find one chair upright, with your roommate seated calmly in it, one leg crossed over the other and her elbows rested on it.
She stands abruptly, and you barely have time to close the door and mutter out a 'what happened?' before you're shoved up against it, her much, much larger hand caging your throat.
This... isn't right. Maybe something happened, someone from the Undercity came and did something to her, because this isn't the Vi you know.
"Where were you?" She grits through her teeth, and you can barely whimper out an explanation with the pressure against your neck.
"I was worried sick about you! Do you realize how dangerous it is for you out there?" You don't recognize this look in her eyes, so dark you can't distinguish her pupils from the rest of her eyes.
"You could've gotten hurt, or lost, or anything, and I wouldn't have been able to save you. I can't lose anyone else, (Y/N), do you understand?" You nod weakly, and she removes her hand. You fall to the ground as you gasp and cough- you don't want to look up at her.
You don't have to though, because she bends down on her knees and runs a hand through your hair, which might've been comforting before, but now only served to make you shake in fear.
"I love you, (Y/N). Just stay here with me, and I'll take care of you. I'll keep you safe.
~Caitlyn~
You can't remember when you started working for the Kiramman family, but you know you were much younger than you rightfully should've been.
Your mother had been the head housekeeper for the Kirammans for many years, and after her untimely death, they extended a gracious hand to you and let you take over her position.
Because of your closeness in age, you and Caitlyn became fast friends, playing together in your downtime. She’s the reason you can read and write, having insisted that you join her in her tutoring lessons, and using you as a study buddy even well into her time at the academy.
You became her personal maid at that point, always there at her beck and call. It seemed that as you both got older, the busier she kept you. You never had time for your weekend jaunts to the flea market, or to the plaza to enjoy the view.
When you were younger, you even snuck down to the Undercity a few times, but once Caitlyn found out, she put a stop to it quickly.
That was the only time you had ever been mad at her, you think... She had tattled on you to her parents, and you had gotten the repreimand of your life. While you may be their maid, you were young, and they still felt partly responsible for your safety.
After what happened to Caitlyn in the plaza, she seemed... different. Harsher. She was always locked up in her room, scribbling away on her map, and while she never let you help, she always wanted you close.
“Don’t go out for a while, (Y/N). It’s not safe.” She had told you before she left, and you obliged, because, well... that was your job, wasn’t it? She was the lady of the house, so you had to keep her happy.
Caitlyn was definitely different after her adventure into the Undercity. She never smiled anymore, always a scowl pinned on her face, and you didn’t know what you could possibly do to make it better for her.
The one night you mustered up the courage to ask, she pulled you into bed with her, holding you so tightly against her chest that you thought you might break something.
“Just stay here, with me. I want you to be safe; you know that, right?” You can feel her breath hot on your neck, and you nod in response. This Caitlyn wasn’t the good-natured girl you used to know.
This Caitlyn scared you.
~Jinx~
She was obsessed the moment you stepped into Silco’s office. You had begged him for a job, anything so that you could keep yourself alive on these streets. You had connections, though few and far between, but you had a few firelight friends you were only partly willing to betray, and the thought of intel on the pests that had been in his way for years was enough to earn you amnesty.
Jinx became his newest pest, however, when she wouldn’t stop asking about you. Where you were, what you were doing, what you were like, until Silco couldn’t take it anymore.
“Why don’t you ask her yourself, Jinx, since you seem so interested.” That was all the invitation she needed.
It seemed that you were never alone anymore. Always a shadow in the alley that wasn’t yours, footfalls that didn’t exactly line up with your own.
Once you got home, you let out a sigh of relief at the false idea of safety. Nothing seemed out of place here, not a window ajar or a door unlocked, but your uneasy feeling didn’t seem to want to go away.
When you turn the corner into your dingy little bedroom, you know exactly why.
Jinx seems to have made herself comfortable on your bed, holding up an article of your clothing that she definitely shouldn’t have been messing with.
“Nice place you got here,” she doesn’t even look at you, “I thought you could use some company.”
“Jinx... If you ever want to visit, you can just ask me. You’re welcome any time.” You fake a smile, trying to hide how scared you were. Everyone in the Undercity new Jinx, and everyone also knew exactly how insane she was.
“Why don’t you ever visit me? You like me, don’t you?” Her piercing blue eyes seem to bore holes through your head, and you wish she would’ve kept looking the other way.
“Of course I do,” you can barely utter it before she interrupts you.
“Great! Then let’s go to my place,” she moves too fast for you to process, pulling you along like a ragdoll for her to play with. That’s all people seemed to be to Jinx- something to play with.
She rarely ever let you go to your own home after that, dragging you back to her place every day after your work with Silco was finished.
She was lonely, you realized, and much crazier than you had thought. She... talked to people- her little hanging toys, and the one time you had asked her about it, she had almost broken your arm.
You really, really hated it there.
One day, you finished up with Silco, and she miraculously wasn’t there to collect you. You went home, and slept in your own bed without any trouble.
The trouble found you again when you woke up, however.
Your arms were tight against your body, too tight, and you struggled to break them free.
“You don’t like me anymore, do you, (Y/N)?” You look around for the familiar voice, spotting Jinx in her chair, and you finally realize where you are.
“Jinx, what’s going on?” You’re wary- saying the wrong thing might set her off; talking to her felt like walking on a minefield.
“You left me,” she stands and walks towards you, “abandoned me.”
“No, no that’s not true- I just went home for a bit.”
“You’re a liar! I waited for you.” Her hands fist in her hair, pulling until her knuckles turned white. “No, shut up!” You’re not sure if she’s talking to you or them.
She grabs you by the ropes that bind you, and in a moment, all you feel is air underneath you, heels of your feet barely scraping the edge of the propeller.
“Jinx, Jinx, please, I’m sorry- I won’t do it again.” She shakes her head profusely, and you feel yourself wiggling with her.
“You lied to me. I hate liars,” She has tears in her eyes, “I thought you loved me.”
“I do, Jinx, I promise! You always come get me, so I just got confused. I promise it won’t happen again- I’ll come right here every day!” You’re desperate for her to pull you back.
“It won’t happen again,” in one quick motion she throws you back onto the floor and away from the edge, “I won’t ever let you leave me.”
