A booktuber I watch mentioned in her new video that she recently read her first omegaverse story, because it has made its way into traditional publishing. But when she was explaining what it was, she kept referring to the alpha as "the guy," because the majority of omegaverse in traditional publishing is het with male alphas and female omegas, which is so baffling to me. You take a genre invented to make men experience misogyny and then you take out the men experiencing misogyny? Women already experience misogyny!
