Just letting you know that the king of diy has some risky behaviors he normalizes (getting 4 arrowana in a tank when they dont do well together and so i believe like 2 of them died? And he admitted they dont normally get along) and antscanada has bad fish care if he tries to include his ants (tried to have an axolotl with his ants at one point) but otherwise i found his ant knowledge amazing and i learned so much! And you dont have to unfollow just take it with a grain of salt.

I JUST watched his vid today where he’s trying to mix his arowanas again. I was side eyeing that... Like gee hope it works, it’s a big tank, but. Well. Hope he can separate them in time if he has to. His tanks overall seem to be great though. I mean there was a point in time where I was trying risky mixes too. It can honestly be so tough when you’re trying to put a predator or aggressive tank together. I’m over that part of my life and keep the aggressive things alone in their own tank (like Ferdinand von Eel lives alone), and friendly communities otherwise lol. It’s a headache mixing aggressive fish and even things that “should” get along kind of don’t. Super hit or miss depending on the individual fish’s personality.

And yeah I’m pretty sure I had a couple cringe moments when AntsCanada was talking about his GTP in his “all pets” video. The fish, all that, yeah. At least I’m really into his ants, which is the bulk of his channel. :D
