it’s so fucking annoying when burger chains are like “introducing the new VEGAN burger!*
*for the VEGAN burger to be vegan you must ask for it without cheese and without mayonnaise and without the special sauce and without the bun etc”
#like i don’t mind asking for the impossible whopper to be without mayonnaise bc that’s only one thing#and i only get it on road trips anyways bc it’s the only thing i can eat at rest stops lol#but i’m annoyed that shake shack is now like we’re so good to vegans now! and their “vegan” burger has cheese on it automatically#and a non-vegan sauce and bun#like it’s so not vegan the article i was reading was saying “oh shake shack recommends vegans order the burger as a lettuce wrap and#add pickles and cherry peppers and these sauces” like JUST MAKE THAT A THING I CAN ORDER THEN!!!#instead of making me order 5+ substitutions#i’m happy abt the vegan milkshake and ice cream tho. always enjoy that#also this is a bit abt mcdonald’s last year coming out with a “vegan” burger that again. came with cheese on it.#i rarely eat fast food so this isn’t rly an issue for me but. it’s just very annoying.
