#ferdibert#hubert is a supernatural being with complete control over his domain but cant leave it#hes cursed to wander the grounds of the mansion for eternity#ferdinand stumbles upon the mansion and hubert tries to scare him off#like hubert controls flocks of ravens as an extension of his will but ferdie is fearlesss and fucking befriends them#its the first time hubies felt completely powerless on his own land#ferdinand stays probs to escape his real life not knowing that time passes very differently in hubert's domain#hes only in the mansion for a week but a year passes back in the normal realm#hubert pretends to be happy ferdinand is leaving but he really liked having the company after being alone for literally centuries#he has the ravens but theyre just an extension of himself#he can form the landscape as he sees fit but that gets boring after the first few changes#hes lonely as fuck lmao#ferdie does come back tho cuz he realized hubert was lonely af#it becomes a routine#the aegir heir disappears for days at a time#comes back happier and at peace everytime#he gradually begins disappearing for longer periods of time#until he finally just disappears forever#hubert will say hes annoyed with his companion but the ravens that flock to ferdies side every time he appears suggest otherwise#maybe one day i will write this down lol
