i got cured from sm-brain rot when red velvet released birthday that song/album and mv were so atrocious it was like i woke up from a trance. i thought SM might have a chance when someone less kwangya-pilled than LSM would take the reins but there hasn’t been a good song from that company for so long now 😭

i am not gonna let you make kwangya-pilled a thing fpaglalkgkgkg. blocking this w all my might 😭😭😭 but godddd birthday was so disappointing that circus trap beat ruined my week. and its really like being awakened from a long ass lucid dream u wake up and see ppl being 4-8 albums and praising shit just bc its a sm artist and 'sm only makes good music' NOT ANYMORE. and honestly i didnt have much hope they'd bounce back cuz its an industry problem atp......lackluster music with nice packaging and a lot of photocards to encourage bulk buying is the wave and sm loves money more than anything else so no way theyd prioritize good music when they don't have to
