Wanted to say smth but I can't figure out how to word it and I hate being misunderstood so imma just say the broaden short version of my rant:

It's wild how much women (consciously and unconsciously) think that lesbians don't experience misogyny

"oooh you're so lucky you are a lesbian... you don't have to deal with men!" like men are very much an issue for me just cause I don't date men doesn't mean I'm not harassed by them or that I'm somehow outside the effects of a patriarchal society

#nana says #like heterofatalism isnt gonna gain u any points with me #all you've really said is that you think I'm privileged for being a lesbian #as if lesbophobia and misogyny are things that lesbians aren't affected by #only really thinking about this cause the last post i reblogged reminded me of this conversation i had with my friends coworker #where she basically said i had privilege over her (shes bi) because the chance of me being SA'd were smaller than hers #and i was like HUH??? R U DENSE #like me and my friend were giving each other mad 👀 looks #like what imaginary world do u live in #ur sexuality has nothing to do with ur chances of being SA'd!!! oh my god #like does she believe that aroace ppl are immune to SA?? im so baffled
