god I just remembered the Balyn Omavel quest, which is potentially the funniest quest in Morrowind imo
#saint.txt#bug squad tag#bc it’s like. one you don’t even need to be a Tong member to take it Taros will give you it as long as you can get there#so he gives you a request direct from Mephala themselves to Just Some Guy who broke into his house#but it’s like. this guy pissed Mephala off so goddamn much they’re killing him personally. they’re ratting him out to their other kids#they’re getting people to kill his ass and watching closely. Mephala’s so annoyed they’ve got entire instructions on how they want him dead#and like you ask what this guy did bc it must’ve been bad and all he’s doing is betraying the Tong by taking contracts on the side#which is really bad but not ‘earn the direct ire of a daedric prince’ bad#like he’s betraying the guild and killing people but Mephala’s like that’s not even sexy.
