It is another time of reality. When a man doesn't have the understanding of his job description, misbehaviour is inevitable.

Since the called doesn't understand the mystery behind his calling, and the purpose of his calling, misrepresentation of the called is unavoidable. And that is the picture we are having in the world.

Men who were first called of old knew accurately the purpose of their calling and I believed this was possible because they knew intimately, their caller.

See how today's believers and pathetically ministers had reduced Christian faith due to countless misbehaviours and scandals many of us are perpetrating here and there, which give opportunity to Satan sponsored and world-controlled media to wag their tongues at the Church and Christianity as a whole. We have missed it Lord, please restore us.

During there time of commissioning, he told them even the modality by which they shall be operating. He said in my name shall they cast out devils not by manipulation but in His name...

Just like there can't be job adverts without information on job description so that the employees can use their discretion to carry it out according to specifications, so also Christ spelled out the expected conducts of would be ministers of his word..

How ministers are daily and constantly found in sex scandals here and there, I can't just understand..

1 Timothy 3:1-5. Revealed what every would be servants of God must possess to be a good ambassador of Christ..

Except you rise up to help us, we have left your highway Lord and we have swayed far from the right path that leads to your city of glory, we are no longer servants but General Overseers, General Supretendents, Bishops, etc. even as we lay claimed of people you died for as our members and properties.

This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. [2] A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; [3] Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; [4] One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; [5] (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?). 1 Timothy 3:1-5.

As a minister reading this now, are you sure you have these qualifications?

Am not saying do you have it at the beginning of your ministry but do you have it now?

1. Some never have it.

2. Some had it but lost it (Such must seek it back)

3. Some don't have it before but as they are reading this, they will pursue and posses it.

Ministry is release of Christ life in you. This means that if you don't have Him and have Him enough to the point that you can radiate that life to others, you have to seek Him to that point or else, check out ministry right away..

Ministry is not about methods but about life of Christ in the life of a minister..

The early church knew and demonstrated this so well that men of their days knew them to be a prototype of Christ hence the name Christians and Christianity.

And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. Acts 11:26

Having sufficiently revealed holiness as the qualification for being a minister, what then are the primary occupation of a minister?

The primary occupation of a minister are just 2..It is not 4 or 3 but just 2...

Before I tell you it is, let me first tell us what it is not.

1. It is not selling of candle, oil, and chaplets.

2. It is not private deliverance for a woman or opposite sex in the absence of others

3. It is not seed sowing campaign (This doesn't mean that men can't be inspired or instructed to sow into a minister or ministry, but he or she is not moving about for found raising).

4. It is not about having many branches and largest congregations.

What then is the assignment?

[1] And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration. [2] Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them , and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables. [3] Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. [4] But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. Acts 6:1-4.

The work is:

1. Prayer and

2. Ministry of the word.

In fact, a normal minister of God is not to be in charge of Church administration, he can only organize it. He brings God's mind for them to implement, while he focuses on continuous prayer and ministry of the word.

This is an area where we have missed it and things had gone wrong. I pray God will restore us in Jesus name.

If we start focusing on the real thing, there will be rebirth of Apostolic Era. It was their obedience and commitment to the purpose of their calling that led to massive outpouring of miracles and undeniable manifestations that compelled sinners of their time to become believers. We also we experience such in Jesus name.

It is my prayer that we shall receive revival on time before it is too late in Jesus name..

Let us pray..Father we thank you for this word of life, we pray that you will move all and sundry that will lay hold on this truth to act on it. Move us out of foolishness to seriousness as ministers, and your glory we become obvious once again. Uphold this platform o Lord. Bless all the ministers here o Lord. Meet all our needs so that we won't have any need to manipulate ways of meeting them in Jesus name. Bless the admin of this platform. Prepare us for thy coming. Thank you Lord for answering us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen..
