the eclipse, episode 10 (previous eps)

starting out with mes telling akk to just believe in suppalo's rules, and then the director praising him for burning the mannequin when it wasn't even him this time. like i just love the way that all of these forces around akk are trying their hardest to convince him that following the rules is right, that if he just preserves the system, everything will be okay. it will fix him. and of course that’s the very thing that’s tearing him apart because no matter how hard he tries he can’t fit himself into the right shape.

and the hero worship of mes again. twisted himself up inside because he saw something bright and shining and wanted to touch it!!

god. it’s craaaaaazy to me the way aye just keeps! pushing! finding every place where akk’s walls are thin and cracked and digging his fingers in and refusing to let go until he’s torn them open. it would have been so easy to give up, there are so many times that he had to make a choice to continue, to say no i know what i see i know who i love.

and then even after akk agrees he still can't quite say it properly. i keep saying it but it truly makes me feel crazy how hard akk is fighting at literally all times. fighting to get out and fighting to keep himself in line all at once. and meanwhile ayan is right there with him battering at the walls from the inside......

nnnnot getting into it but i am. admittedly. enthralled by ayan's face journey when akk bites back at him.

extremely funny that khan and wat are very much not buying anything akk says here either.

the fact that aye is arguing with sani about her role in allowing the system to continue but breaks off to go run after akk because making sure akk is okay is more important.

and thinking again about ayan’s mother being afraid the same thing that would happen to dika would happen to him, thinking about aye being afraid for akk……..
