oh man CG what a fucking mess

yeah i get why jade hates him. he’s shouty, he insults you and isnt overall nice. and i thought the same, actually. that is until this whole convo and now i think im just neutral? i will give CG the benefit of the doubt but that does not mean anything. i just feel like he’s the bakugou of homestuck. where he insults people, yes, but the fandom seems to love that brooding personality. and that’s kinda whats happening with CG right now in my point of view.

but to me he’s like a big meme. he’s lowkey funny in the sense where he’s not trying to be but i can’t help but laugh at him “making friends” and especially when he thinks friendship is a fucking emotion. now, personally, i don’t feel heated towards insults so he doesnt technically offend me. but he does to jade and there’s where i struck the line at first. but now seeing how he speaks with john, im just guessing its how he is. that’s what he’s like. he types in caps just bc he can. maybe his keys even stuck. but most importantly, he’s not doing it bc he’s attacking jade personally (like what i thought) but rather because he just hates the world. and i understand that. i understand why people would like him - ironically or not. tho to me, he’s still a jackass, bc he’s not the kindest. he says mean things. he’s still the same bully from the beginning, i never changed my opinion on him simply bc i know he’s an alien now which makes him “cooler”. nah, theyre the same. but this convo just tweaked that thought just a bit. i see him more as a character who, if he appeared again, i would have no problem in reading their convo. and how he improves on this whole “friendship” thing he’s trying to get with john will be actually really entertaining and ill count the days until we see him again.

its kind of endearing actually, now that i think about it, for an insulting machine like CG to try and befriend john. and he’s an interesting character. ive grown to like him as that but not necessarily as a person. as a person, he’s not the best. but i feel improvement will happen somewhere bc andrew wouldnt introduce him like that without expecting more for it in the future.

on TOP OF THAT, he’s also talking to john through his “reverse” timeline. which means his first conversation with john happened in the future, and the last conversation he had probably happened in the past. which is confusing but now that aliens are on the table, i wont question time travel. we’ll probably get into that later. for now, i kind of have hope for the future considering we may see john and CG get into this “so called friendship emotion” since CG seemed to mention it happens in johns future. 

god, time, its so confusing.

but wow, this was a long one. probably bc it had a lot of pesterlogs. those take up a lot of time and its for one page.

ill just state the facts here now bc i seemed to have just disregarded them to rant about our new alien friend: john and jade are wholesome and i can’t believe jade and dave are playing the game. love them so much.
