OC x Canon Week Day 4: Western AU:

Rook as your local slinger and Cloche as everybody’s favourite saloon gal boy. Rook’s presence is both a blessing and a curse, since he’d always buy drinks for everyone *but* himself. The owner is one more ‘Rook Visit’ away from questioning if Cloche is getting attached (she already is).

Apparently customers would buy saloon girls drinks and the bar owners swapped the alcohol out for tea/coloured alternatives to keep sales up AND for their employees to not get drunk on the job.
