Buck NDE but Eddie just happens to be at the right place, right time to rush in and save him.

So when Buck recovers and learns he would have been dead without Eddie, and Eddie says something like, "It was lucky I happened to be in the area when you got hurt."

Buck will have a moment. And then -

Then he hears the universe's screams.

“I’m heading out!” Eddie shouts, knowing that he won’t get a reply from any of the three. However to his surprise, he hears a loud “SHUT THE FUCK UP!” from Aidan’s room which causes him to smile to himself. Eddie grabs his laptop bag and heads towards the coffee shop he knew the best, Ars Coffee.

“Welcome!” A familiar voice calls.

Eddie smiles brightly at the female worker, “Good morning!” He says, heading towards the counter.

The female worker suddenly glares at the boy, “You!”

“Me?”

“Yes you!” She tippie toes to lean closer to Eddie, “You’re the one who brought that taxi driver in here aren’t you?”

Eddie scratches his chin, “Oh yeah! That was me.”

She bites her lip, “What makes you think you could come in here and act as if nothing happened?!”

“Luda, there is a line.”

“Youngjae! Don’t you recognize this boy?!” Eddie watches Youngjae turn and stare at Eddie as he pours cream into one of the mugs, “Eddie! How nice to see you.”

“Hi Youngjae!”

Luda gasps, “You know him!?”

Youngjae winks at her, “How about you get him his usual caramel macchiato?”

Luda glares at Youngjae and looks back up at Daeho, “I hope you know I hate you.”

“And I hope you know I like you!”

Luda widens her eyes, her face turning into a shade of red as she quickly types in Eddie’s order, “G-Go sit down!”

 Two days later…

 “Luda! I’m going out on an errand! Keep the shop open until I’m back!” Youngjae shouts at Luda as he grabs onto his jacket.

“But it’s already nine-” she sees a streak of yellow exit the door, “okay, anything for you.” Luda glances at Youngjae’s phone, turning it on and smiling once she realizes his wallpaper was a photo of both her and him. The door slams open which causes Luda to drop Youngjae’s phone directly onto the phone, “HOLY SHIT!” She screams, quickly picking up his phone only to find the screen completely shattered. “I swear to god whoever just walked-” her anger quickly rises once she sees that the customer was Eddie, “YOU AGAIN!? YOU JUST MADE ME DROP YOUNGJAE’S PHONE!”

Eddie glances up at Luda, his face was covered in bruises and he was panting really hard, “Luda? Oh thank god Luda.”

Luda set Youngjae’s phone onto the counter, quickly running over to him, “Oh my god what happened? Here sit down, I’ll help you.”

“Luda could you make me a caramel-”

“Macchiato? Yeah I will, just hurry and sit down.”

Eddie collapses onto the couch, groaning as he feels his wound touch the back of the leather couch. Luda rushes over to him, placing a warm cloth onto his eyes, “Just breathe alright Eddie? Just breathe.” A smile forms onto Eddie’s face, “What’s so funny?” Luda asks as she places her hands onto Eddie’s cheeks to heal the wounds, “Did I say something funny or something?”

“You know my name.”

Luda widens her eyes, “Shut up!” She says, hitting Eddie’s chest which causes him to groan in pain, “I won’t heal you if you keep being an idiot!”

“Alright Luda, I’ll shut up then.”

 (Random moments throughout the weeks between the two)

 “Caramel macchiato?” Luda asks, not even bothering to glance up from the register to know who it is.

“No actually, chai tea latte please.”

Luda raises an eyebrow, “Spicing up our order I see?”

“Yes, where’s Youngjae?”

“Why?” Luda asks a bit too defensively.

“Nothing, just wanted to know, he’s usually around every day I come to grab some coffee.”

“You come every day?”

“Yeah! I don’t see you every day though.”

“That’s cause I have school,” she mumbles as she holds her hand out for his card.

“You should switch your schedule around, it would be fun to see you.”

Luda rolls her eyes, “As if I would do that for you.”

“You know you love me!”

“You know I hate you.”

Eddie lets out a laugh as he walks towards his usual seating area, “You’re the first!”

Luda grips onto the white coffee mug as she begins to make his drink, “Idiot.” She says to herself as she glances at the schedule for all the baristas.

 Later that night..

“Youngjae? Can I work more often.”

“Don’t you have school?” Youngjae asks as he puts the mugs away.

“I-I just feel like I want some more time with you yaknow?”

Youngjae raises an eyebrow before breaking out into a smile, “If that’s what you want, alright.”

Luda quickly nods, “Y-Yeah! Thank you.” She says.

“And Luda?”

“Yeah?”

“You still haven’t bought me a new phone.” Youngjae laughs, “That’s why you want to work more often right? For more money.”

Luda smiles, “How’d you know?”

“So why did you bring me along with you again?” Eddie asks, watching the shorter girl look at all of the phones.

“You’re paying for half of this because you are the one who caused me to drop the phone.”

“Alright, tell me when you choose one! I’ll be over there.” He points towards one of the stands in the middle of the mall, “I’m going to go buy a new pair of glasses.”

Luda watched as Eddie headed towards the stand, many girls and boys looking his direction as he spoke to the sales person. She rolls her eyes as she finally finds Youngjae’s phone, “Excuse me! Can I get one of these?”

The worker smiles, “Is that your boyfriend?”

“The one I’m shopping for, not that guy.”

“What a bummer, he’s a real charmer.”

Luda waits in line as she grabs out her wallet, “Do I have enough?” She mumbles to herself, nervously handing the cashier her credit card.

“No need, someone bought you the phone already.”

“What?”

Eddie walks over towards Luda, “Ready to go?”

“Did you buy the phone?”

“I mean I’m the one who caused you to break it.”

“E-Eddie!”

“Hey Luda want a kiss?”

“EDDIE WHAT THE-”

He hands her a Hershey’s kiss, “Do you hate them that bad?”   

“Why am I going to this wedding?” Luda asks, staring at Youngjae and Eddie who were both sitting in the front seats.

Eddie turns around, “I was told I could bring two friends, so I brought you two!”

Youngjae and Eddie both wore the basic wedding attire, except Youngjae had a black vest around his dress shirt while Eddie only had a tie.

“You look nice tonight by the way.” Youngjae tells Luda, staring at her through the mirror.

Usually, Luda would feel her heart nearly fall out of her chest at these words, but for some reason- that was not the case tonight.

“I like how you dyed your hair blonde by the way! It’s adorable.” Eddie says as he scrolls through his insta feed.

Luda smiles to herself, twirling her blonde hair in between her fingers. (ref)

 Eddie laid down in the middle of Luda’s apartment, “I didn’t even know these existed.”

“What?” Luda walks into the kitchen to grab some drinks, “A couch?”

“No, this!” He gestures around the entire apartment.

“An apartment?”

“That’s what it’s called?”

Luda scoffs, “I’d like to see what you live in.”

“Oh you sure would, you’d be amazed.”

Luda hands him a glass of juice, “Then take me to your house.”

“You really want to come?”

“Yeah, let’s see how it is.”

Eddie laughs, “Want a kiss?”

“What?”

Eddie pulls a Hershey kiss from the tray, “At least you didn’t swear at me this time.” He says, a smile forming onto her face.

 Luda stared at herself in the mirror, praying the outfit she chose would impress Eddie’s parents. (ref) Eddie picks her up from her apartment in a luxury car, causing her to gasp as he shut the car door. “This is yours?”

“Yeah?”

“Not your parents?”

“Parents? Oh those guys aren’t even around!”

The drive to Eddie’s house was long, but Luda was not disappointed to see his house in front of her. (another ref) “Now, the people I live with are pretty weird, but don’t worry! They do not bite, except maybe one of them might.” Eddie opens the door, “Guys! I brought a guest!” A man in high heels walks past Luda, “Oh? And who is this?” He says with a British accent.

“Luda!”

“Nice to meet you I am Vinn.”

A tough looking guy glances at Luda, completely ignoring her and walking out of the door, “That’s Aidan! He’s the friendliest of them all.” Eddie says waving to the man who didn’t even wave back.

Suddenly, Luda felt someone sniff her neck behind her, causing her to shriek and run behind Eddie. “She smells like...like lemons! I wonder how her panties would-”

“That’s Luciel,” Eddie leans towards Luda, “if you ignore him I’m sure he’ll leave you alone.”

 As the days passed by, Luda felt herself more and more absorbed into Eddie’s household. Eventually, her visits became very frequent. She would heal Eddie whenever he trained by himself and eventually, the question she had been waiting for finally arose.

“Why don’t you just live with me?” Eddie asks her as he drove her home.

“What? I don’t want to invade your home! Plus my school is super far away from there.”

“You know, I could just run you to your school.”

“Y-Yeah but still..”

“You’ve slept over frequently Luda, think about it!” Eddie flashes her a smile, “Just come live with me- I mean us.”

Luda twiddles with her fingers, “How will I move in time.”

“That’s why you have me don’t you?” He says as he shuts the door for her. The two enter the lobby of her apartment complex, pressing the button for number 7. “This will be the last time you’ll sleep in here, so I’ll come by in the morning alright?”

“Okay sounds good.”

“Hey Luda?”

“Yeah?”

“Want a kiss?”

Luda rolls her eyes, “Sure.” Before she knew it, Eddie’s soft lips were placed onto hers, her entire body melting as Eddie wrapped his hand around her waist. “T-That wasn’t a Hershey’s kiss!”

Eddie winks at her, “Of course not! See you tomorrow.”
