spiderverse was fun! i think the very final few seconds before the credits soured me on the experience (i wouldnt consider those a spoiler bc every single friend i have who hasnt seen it knew it?) but overall v pretty movie. i dunno if i like it better than the first one since i'd have to rewatch both again, but i def loved a lot of the gwen stuff throughout the movie and i loved getting to watch miles again. thts my SON!! i love him :(

also no spoilers but uh. just gonna say: dad!peter AND jess both have a grip on me. i love them both so fucking much. also hobie??? if we dont get to see more of him im gonna SOB i loved both him + pavitr so so much. i think spiderverse, in general, is very good at making lovable characters even when they have short screentime. i dont think theres a single character i full-on hate that i'm not supposed to hate, and even then i love the villains and how much thought goes into them.

i'd love to talk more (especially about the villain bc holy fuck do i have some thoughts abt him, all good tho), but i dont wanna post spoilers unless anyones interested in those thoughts (+ i'll def tag n warn tht there's spoilers)
