Son of Former Vice Chancellor of Delta State University, Nigerian Gospel artiste and 3rd runner up of West African Idol 1, Eric Arubayi, reportedly died Saturday, February 11th, at Delta State University Teaching Hospital after battling an illness.

Eric Arubayi had just celebrated his 3rd wedding anniversary last two months, Dec. 28th 2016. He was just in his mid-30s. May his soul rest in peace, amen. The picture of him below shows him with his wife, Chinonso Arubayi and son.

There is an unconfirmed report that Eric Arubayi died after taking an expired malaria drug.
