cuz like, sure, the MC is doing what they can to survive but depending on which one theyre fine to just vibe and let the story take its course if theyve got a good chance to survive not doing anything special. but then the story always gets WEIRD, RIGHT?! stuff always goes wrong! was that part of the vision? or am i going conspiracy crazy?

anyway AMAZING WORK. also you really fed the vil simps on that one story. i thought i was over him and content to be like rook and admire from afar but that SCENE with his hands wrapped around the retainer 🥵 i darn near short-circuited. HOW DARE YOU! (please continue 😉)

its hard to choose a favorite story in this series and i dont want to speak too soon before theyre all out. but i do have favorite bits in each of them.

and i just love the endings to them all. i love the bittersweet nature of all the endings. like none, of them are really romantic in a comforting way (duh its a yandere story) but they do vary in romance level. like by far i think riddle's azul's and vil's are the most romantic while leona and jamil are quite cold and calculating or in jamil's case mostly possessive and manipulative on the surface. it's VERY interesting.

and also bc im silly and you brought up the yandere-ness of the other characters, i start to wonder what happens next in these stories (im not asking for sequels. oh heavens no! never! unless you wanted to, but im mostly just brainstorming character relationships and potential conflicts). like in the savannaclaw story, ruggie and jack are also glued to the MC but not in a really romantic way? ruggie has that "i want to be your #2/by your side forever" which could go either way, but to me initially reads as "jack was pushing his way into MY spot and i want to guarantee he cant have it" rather than a "one day i'll deserve to be by your side romantically and for now i want to ensure i'll always have that opportunity by being next to you and a priority of yours" and then comes leona's proposal at the end, and i was thinking "uhhh but mc is by your side as consort, then ruggie gets pushed out of his spot in favor of the husband taking over. even though ruggie could still be an advisor and confidant, its still like 'move over dude theres another taking priority over you" and then that gets me wondering "what would happen if MC turned down leona? what kinda havoc would he wreak if any? does that put the village in jeopardy if he gets pissed off? what if they accept and they're STILL screwed bc he stops paying attention to the village after he gets the throne? and then the chieftain is taken into the palace and away from the village and has no way back and theyre left to basically flounder without them?"

also i really like how you end your stories with pseudo-cliffhangers? i mean they are but also the plot is mostly resolved and whatever major things that needed to happen happened. and its just the character resolutions and epilogues you dont see. its entertaining. like i said, i like to imagine what happens next and you really leave some stuff open for that.

Oh, for the crimes, just look at one of the questions which I believe asks what you (the quiz taker/MC) committed. Those are currently five of the seven crimes I've listed before, and each MC has committed at least ONE of them. But, they could've always committed more too.

On that other topic, of characters going yandere, one thing I hate is when reading a story and for some reason the characters are already obsessed with the MC but for absolutely no apparent reason. And me personally, I enjoy a bit of build up, which is why I try to implement some in my writing. Which can be a bit hard to do within forty pages when all these other things are happening, but I manage for the most part.

Swap AU:

Vox's Goetia (we need a name for him...umm because he's where Vox gets the extras for the fight against Heaven; got any ideas?) looks like a Griffin. He's got a Lion lower half and eagle upper half but his colors are shades of blue. (You see why Vox proposed that deal.)

The crew work on defense for days. Vox goes to Lucifer to ask about Angel weaknesses and informs him about Adam's threats against Charlie and the Hotel, and that's how the hotel crew gets informed of angel weaknesses. Lucifer tells, after all why should he keep Heaven's weakness a secret when they're coming for his daughter?

Vox then puts a big order of Angelic steel in for Carmine, paying extra to have it arrive early, which it does so he and Pentious can build turrets and drones to shoot down the exterminators. They have a blast.

Also: fun facts:

Vox's sensors and subconscious relax and recognize Alastor's scent as safe, even though Vox himself cannot smell anything. The sensor's database has recognized certain scents as family (Husk's, Vel's, Val's) lover's/husband's (Alastor's) little sister (Charlie's) my duck loving liege lord who might be my friend too? (Lucifer) the crazy exorcist chick whose now treating me with kid gloves--IT WAS ONE PANIC ATTACK! Angel Dust does do more then steal. He brings in Alastor's cooking to the Hotel, and Vox who does miss homemade jambalaya jumps at the chance to eat it. Vox just devours it. (Of course Angel lied and told him it was set aside for Niffty and Velvette for working so hard. He wasn't going to tell him Alastor had been waiting at the door of V-tower with the large Tupperware bowl with strict instructions that only Vox got what was inside.)

Vox actually turns in early--he'd been stressing out with Adam's threat laying over him and the thought of a true death coming for him hasn't sat well, but the warmth of good food made him sleepy and he goes to bed. He's barely asleep when Alastor joins him, gently petting his rabbit ears and murmuring his undying devotion to sleeping Vox's ears.

uhhh. drawing from the demons of the ars goetia grimoire, seir could work as a name? according to his description, seir can go to any place on earth in a matter of seconds to accomplish the will of the conjurer (possibly explaining how vox can use him for errands and such), and hes not a particularly evil demon. he's also a prince of hell, so that makes his and stolas' relation even closer since there seems to be only 7 of them in the ars goetia grimore

I'm the takeo lives anon. And You're right about Takeo hating Kyojuro and Mitsuri because of grief but it's not just that.

For Kyojuro,it is because he literally was all for killing Tanjirou,and Nezuko. It doesn't matter how kind he is,it doesn't matter if he was doing his job,he still didn't tell Sanemi to ease up when stabbing Nezuko and he sure as hell didn't tell Obanai to get his ass off of an already injured Tanjirou. It may seem petty,but Takeo also dislikes Kyojuro because of who his father is. Takeo knows Tanjirou wishes to have kids,and being around a drunk wouldn't be good for any child. Pushing his grief on others is a major part too, but Kyojuro is also too loud for him and he doesn't really trust anyone in general near his brother because for him,the hashira are a wild coin flip that he threw down the well.

Mitsuri is more complex,because while she wasn't for killing them-Again,she didn't seem to care about Sanemi brutanezing Nezuko. That is strike one,and strike two is just jealousy. He's jealous of her because her family is alive first off, she's much stronger than he ever could be and that makes him angry because he's been stuck over the fact he was too weak to do anything to save his family. It's also because she's wealthy, before his family died, he wasnt as jealous over people wealthier but now that he met her that begun the belief that rich people can afford to throw their lives away. He's angry that she would throw herself into danger when she has EVERYTHING to lose. He's jealous that while she can afford modern luxuries,eat often while he and his family had to work to the bone. Even if they were loved,they had to go to bed hungry and as a child,he'd always gotten the impression he was unwanted because their family couldn't handle two kids nonetheless six. To see someone in a much better position than him drives him crazy. But he knows he's being selfish when he wishes that Nezuko and Hanako were able to wear the clothes her mother wears. Also,he hates her out of association. takeo is a good kid,he really is but witnessing the death of your family will mess you up-And for him it turns into envy. He genuinely begins to like her later though,because she's not all that bad,his jealousy just blinded him.

There's a reason he loves Giyuu too,Giyuu is calm and cold like a lull but that doesn't mean he's incapable. He did stabbing Nezuko, but Takeo knows THAT was necessary. Because if Giyuu hadn't stabbed nezuko in the shoulder,then she wouldn't have viewed him as a threat nor be entirely brought to her senses. For that Takeo is thankful, and how Giyuu treats him as an equal instead of something that's incapable because of his lack of an eye and arm is something he appreciates. He likes how Giyuu is clearly hesitates,once Giyuu falls,he falls hard. And Takeo is fine with that, because he expected it. Giyuu and Tanjirou are a good pair to him, and it's how Giyuu is subtle and never crosses any boundaries. Giyuu can protect Tanjirou well enough so that Takeo doesn't have to stress,and how Giyuu treats Nezuko like anyone else is admirable.

Sanemi is absolutely never getting an okay,doesn't matter if he begs or whatever,Takeos answer is gonna be fuck no until he dies.

okay funny story. i got interested in this anime literally yesterday because one of my favorite channels was analyzing its ending song by chance

and i was like oh it's like anohana but a murder mystery? interesting premise. doesn't necessarily guarantee that it's good, the animation looks pretty at least, but it's 25 episodes and my attention span kinda sucks...

and i see the main girl in a swimsuit and im like alright. the second there's a really weird zoom on her chest im out

and the first shot or so was of the swimsuit girl (ushio) without any weird zooms so i was like okay hey we're in the clear so far

one minute ten seconds. dawg. that actually has to be a record of some sort

like. maybe that's a one off joke. maybe they wont do it again and that was just to get weirdos to be like AYYY and keep watching. maybe there is hope

i realized the other anime this reminded me of. this anime is a anohana x kagerou project crossover. thats fuckin crazy i kinda dig it

people also compare it to re:zero which is fair cuz it has the time travel, the unexpected brutality, the short haired girl who gets rejected in favor of the long haired girl (lmao) i just like kagerou project more

it somehow didnt connect the first time that it wasn't mio and i was like huh i wonder why they suddenly skipped time

and then when this scene rolled around for the second time i literally like. it hit me so fast and i was like FUCK. i was like genuinely terrified help

and then she started stabbing the ever loving shit out of totsumura and i was like oh okay! guess i dont have to wait in suspense for what she'll do at the very least

and then she stabbed shinpei in the throat and i was like OH OKAY

that scene also terrified me cuz like the phone call happening while the killer is nearby is a classic horror trope but like. i dont watch horror usually. that's my worst nightmare

it was on his third death that shinpei really started to shine for me as a protagonist because like. he's smart. notably so! it was really nice because the classic horror starts to fade away at this point and everything becomes a giant chess match

fair enough though cuz bro was like "LMAO NAH I REFUSE TO DIE AGAIN THAT SHIT PAINFUL AS FUCK" (and then repeatedly died a bunch more anyways)

it's interesting that his whole "take a step back" thing is like. a trauma response too. we love dissociation representation lmfao

shinpei was also really quick to adapt to everything and it took a LOT of shit going down to make him finally lose his composure, but he gets back in it and doesnt waste time and it was really refreshing because yknow anime (and the horror genre in general) with its overdramatic clueless protagonists

i immediately pegged sou as the loud dumbass yosuke/ryuji type (i love them and their depth, im talking about surface level) best friend who wingmans for shinpei and immediately gets sus of shinpei and gets killed first n shit

but that was my bad like damn sou was a really good character

and the line "I should tell Sou everything" with a shot of the sky is REALLY FUCKING OMINOUS, so i feel like that was a bit of a bait and switch on the author's part lmfao

mio was the only character other than shide that i just straight up did not like lmfaosgkjhsjg the whole "im in love with my stepbrother" was just. fuckin. weird to me from the start and you have no idea how fucking relieved i was that shinpei didn't accept her confession or get with her at the end

of course it's like. not any better that he got with his other stepsister. but like mio was more annoying so it's fine (😭)

she ended up being a damsel in distress who didnt really do anything up until the school fight where she still didnt do much, and with how much ushio emphasized "protect mio" you'd think she' have some sort of plot relevance but nope she just. thought about her brother a lot and confessed after 20 episodes and got rejected and cried

it's like all the buildup to her confession was PURELY to buildup for the ACTUAL confession which was shinpei telling her that he was in love with ushio

which is lame

like jesus her shadow had more plot relevance than her. i literally liked her shadow more than her like ????????

tokiko was a good character though i liked the "i didnt dirty my hands for this" foreshadowing and also her being a lesbian was an unexpected surprise that i liked lmfao she's a fuckin real one for still encouraging mio to be with shinpei despite being madly in love with mio. what the hell was that "i want her to see all of me" line like girl????

shide was a good smart villain, he kinda started getting cheesy typical anime villain by the end but by that point the anime was pretty firmly in the action/strategy genre and relying a lot less on the horror/mystery part so it was alright

i did love the talk he and shinpei had about video games and the FF7 namedrop was hilarious lmfao

it was cool how they had the callback to him being a video game nerd during the first fireworks festival with that 2d 3d king thing

mmm supernatural. hard agree there lol. i loveeee the first seasons. i’ve rewatched those multiple times or just certain episodes. the last 5 seasons or so, hard to remember bc they all blend together at this point lol, were…something. i’ll forever be bitter with how they ended it. oh interesting. i don’t think i ever even heard of that show lol. guessing 911 came in and took all the audience?

i’m definitely excited to see the last installment! hill house terrifies me but i’ve watched it multiple times lol. i did see bly manor, and idk seems like maybe it was just me, but it just didn’t do it for me. it felt very slow and just didn’t have as capturing of a storyline as hill house?? i had also seen the movie based on the same story and wasnt impressed with that either. oof i hope you never have to remember whatever it was. i don’t think anything happened to me involving clowns, i’ve just always been terrified of them.

yea that makes sense! i also hate needles, unless it’s for piercings or tattoos 😂, and the blood freaks me out too. it’s just a no for me lol. it’s *almost* done peeling thankfully. i’m so over it lol. one is an industrial so it’s technically two piercings, but yea 12 altogether lol. i definitely recommend the eyebrow! i’m loving mine so much. can’t wait for it to heal so i can buy different jewelry.
