Look, I just want to be with the cool ppl and be noticed by senpai. I know I hav to do the story part in order for that to happen, but I need to get the fishing poles though! They will love me, I’ll win them over with my bad ass heart of gold, and my vegetables!

Today's guest list comes from none other than @ROBBYDUDE who laments a 2023 they didn't have with their top ten games they wish they played.

Some screenshots throughout my journey through Like A Dragon: Ishin! Since my other trips were well received I figured let's take a look at my time through this adventure. As always it's great to look at these without any context. Also, I beat this game in August and just now am sharing these RIGHT before Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth...

Fandom: Like a Dragon: Ishin!, Yakuza 7  Pairing: Saito Hajime x Zhao Tianyou Rating: E A/N: Zhao and Kasuga transmigrate into the Bakumatsu era after a Peking Duck accident. Spoilers for some parts of Ishin.  Excerpt:
The last thing Zhao Tianyou thought before the Peking duck oven exploded in his face was that curses are real. What were the fucking odds, eh? How had something like that even imploded, a booby trap? All because Kasuga-godsdamned-Ichiban joked that he was fated never to eat Peking duck, saying that the world always intervened to stop him. Hearing that, Tianyou had opted to challenge fate, and here they were.
Death fucking hurt.
Then it didn’t, but only for a heartbeat. Tianyou sucked in a lungful of water before he somehow clawed his way to the surface, gasping and spitting, flailing for a good minute before all his ruthless childhood swimming lessons caught on. The world stank of fish and rotting refuse, dark enough that disoriented, it was by sheer miracle that Tianyou somehow clawed his way ashore. He vomited water until he was hacking up bile, dazed. The hell? How had he gone from exploding ovens to drowning? Blearily, Tianyou looked up—only to find himself staring down a handful of approaching men.
It wasn’t their air of menace that caught Tianyou’s attention but their clothes. He gawked. All three wore mismatched rags in a style that looked right out of a historical film. Dim lanterns backlit them against a slum, lashed together out of rotting wood and best wishes. Chickens clucked somewhere in the gloom. Tianyou risked a glance around, bewildered. No city lights, no distant traffic sounds. As to his clothes—Tianyou blinked as he pulled at the long hem of a filthy kimono, which had been a fine set before it’d taken a long dip in a dirty river. It wasn’t one of his. Tianyou didn’t own any yukata or kimono—it hadn’t been his style.
“This is a joke?” Tianyou guessed, staggering to his feet. He winced—his head throbbed, but he stayed upright. “A film set?” Though, why would some director kidnap the ex-leader of the Yokohama Liumang clan for a film? They could just ask.
